OMG, yAy! when did she hack off her hair?! good girl! this makes up for her exaggerated thin-ness.

She is very beautiful and classic, but I think she is a bit boring
I will never understand why women want to cut their hair so short, but somehow I think she would be able to pull off any look.

I had long hair forever, up until 1997 (I’m 40 now). While I liked it fine enough, I always ended up with my hair up in a clip. After years of this, I thought, “why do I have all this hair if it’s always up in a clip?” I’m an active gal, so it was always easier to get it out of my way. I wanted a hairstyle, not some boring hair that lives up in a hair clip. So I cut it ALL off and have never looked back since then. Now I have a sassy, short doo that compliments my features. I get compliments on it every day! I feel that confident women don’t need to hide behind long hair. So short it is! I’m always varying my style and mixing it up, plus I have a very savvy stylist who keeps me current. I hope this helps.
i would like to cut my hair one day super short i often have dreams that is really short and cute..anywhere from the old posh spice asymetrical bob to a rhianna/ halle berry pixi…then i wake up and i am like yeah…i dont have the courage..when i have a few kids and i am running around i def see myself with it short… and then long.. and then short and.. then long then …fire engine red then black then…. short…hair was never a big deal to me…it grows…or mine does anyway.
@retrobanana. do it!!! hee hee. if you don’t like it, it will grow back! you can do it, i have faith in you! i dyed mine fire engine red last fall and now it has faded out to a beautiful dark auburn (but not brassy). i will now put some dark lowlights in it, perhaps with some more red for good measure.
Charlize shaved her head for a movie role. I think they’re remaking Mad Max and she has a role in it. Looks like she’s growing it back in now. I can’t imagine how long it would take to grow your longer hair back from a buzz cut!

If you click on the photos, it mentions in the description under the picture that she’s actually wearing a wig. That is not her real hair. jenna is right, she shaved it for a movie role. I probably should have specified these things in the post.

It is definately a wig in these photos. She shaved her hair and was totally bald for a movie role. I checked the date of the post and pictures. But now it is growing out.

Not many woman can pull off a short haircut like that without looking like a pinhead or too butch. Just as easy (if not easier) to maintain is a medium length bob that can be pulled back into a neat and attractive ponytail at a moment’s notice. A very elegant and feminine look, with a variety of options to play with.
I wish there were a Charlize Theron face wig out there I could buy for myself. To pair with the Charlize Theron body suit I’m thinking would also look good on me.
