A Selma Blair Update

She was extremely thin a few years ago - particularly when she filmed the movie The Sweetest Thing. I haven’t seen her much since then, but here she is now, looking slim and totally different. (I would almost swear that she has gotten some type of work done on her face, but I could be wrong).

I allways thought that she does not look pretty, but on these photos I find her really gorgeous. Don´t know why, but she does not look strange to me anymore. And the blond hair didn´t fit her, I´m glad that she changed again to dark hair.

shes been sporting short hair for along while, buty i agree with skinny girl she does seem alittle different in the face, which is not due to her hair style.

I didn’t like her short blond hair and I don’t like her short dark hair. She looks more feminine with longer hair.
apparently she just had a month in rehab for some kind of drug addiction, my guessing is coke. So there you go skinny wanabes, fancy a hollywood figure? You just need to be able to afford alot of charlie.

She looks lovely! The make-up and haircut really suit her. And that dress is gorgeous (although I would probably choose black peep toe’s over the strappy silver heels to match the dress). But she’s got great style in these pictures.

ps-kittah… black peep toes would be too clunky for the dress…her dark hair already balances out the black dress, so black shoes on top of it would be too overpowering

I wonder if this apparent “addiction” was the reason for her divorce from Mr. Zappa? I liked them together, I was sad to see it end.
Really? I’m trying to picture either the black peep toe’s or just plain nude colour shoes….I think the black shoes wouldn’t look too bad since she has very minimal jewelery. And the tube top and the short hair only indicate how little accessories she has on. Plus the make-up isn’t too flashy either, so I think the black peep toe’s would just fit right in
But that’s just what I think… She looks great the way she is anyway!
What would be really adorable with this dress would be a pair of those hideous hideous HIDEOUS Crocs.
I have always felt there to be something manly about her.

She’s really unique looking. I really wish I could pull off a dress like that. I think she looks good. If only I could afford coke, too.
she’s really cute, I always liked her. She’s still very very thin, keep in mind that she’s very short. To have those preportions and be short means you have to be really skinny.

In the mid-to-late 90’s both Selma and Debra were very thin; both seem to have “softened” over time. Let’s hope that the current bevy of emaciated starlets will follow the same course.
She seems to have put on a little weight and is not as deathly skinny as before. Her figure looks better now.
But what happened to her face? She always looked gorgeous, but here she looks like Liza Minelli???

she looks so much better with her naturally dark hair instead of the blond disaster from not too long ago, she’s really pretty and has the perfect shape face for that pixie cut. very cute dress too, i love it, she looks great.

i think her face looks different because of her makeup. it looks like her brows have brow pencil further toward the center of the face and they have put dark eyeshadow on the inside upper corners of her eyes which makes them less open looking. that’s what i think anyway.
It took me a minute, but I figured out who she looks like now. Anyone remember Nina from ‘Just Shoot Me?’
I think she looks different for the same reason that Kate Bosworth looks different in the black bicini pics. They have put on some healthy weight. The face changes shape with no fat on it - it gets hollow and with deeper cheekbones, etc. Nicole Richie, Kate Bosworth and now Selma all look very different in the face as they put on some healthy weight - they look younger and more glowy and prettier versus that sunken model look. If she was in rehab for drugs, this explains why she was so deathly skinny. Now, she looks like a healthy but still very svelte woman.

She looks different. She looks classy except the hair.
She looks different because:
1) eyebrows- it looks a lot darker and sharper than before.
2) eye bags- she’s developed them. Maybe due to age or drugs (as someone was commenting earlier) but she did.

and,
3) Too much make up. She thinks the plastic look’s back..

Debra Messing is really thin? um she was way smaller than Selma Blair like a decade ago. She put on some curves now after giving birth to Roman.
She does look old. She looked okay in the movie FOG you know weight wise.

if you want to see extreme cases look up pics of meth abusers. i found one site (forget the url) but the people didnt even look the same. it was a very strange look.
they had a series of mugshots together and you could see the progression. she looks like the first mugshot type. where they just look oddly old and tired.
