Gone is the waif-like, underfed chic look for Ashley Olsen. She actually looks… gasp … normal here.
As many of you pointed out to me in various email tips (thanks!), she has definitely put on the few necessary pounds in order to look like a healthy woman. Go Ashley!
I wonder if Mary-Kate will eventually follow her example?

Healthy or not, I cant stand the Twins and their fur coats. I’m not some psycho-anti-fur warrior, but I think fur coats are completely ridiculous and make them look like they are 100 yrs old.
Her weight is decent though. At least she doesnt look like some scrawny 10yr old any more. Although, she still looks like a deer caught in the headlights with her vacant looking eyes. (sorry, i just cant stand the Olsens.)

i think guessing her weight would be..really hard…
since u know a ton of things come into play [weight of bones, natural structure shape, ect] I’m 5′2 and 111pounds and I appear thinner than Ashley simply because I have a very narrow waist. She could easily be at 110 pounds which would be healthy, and simply have a more rectangular figure. Or she could be even smaller and just carry her weight rather evenly rather than in her ass/hips/bust/ect

Think that Ashley looks absolutely LOVELY / GORGEOUS ! She is the prettier of the two twins…she always has been (even when they were kids and teens) ! It is great to see her dressed up…the dress is really flattering …love her dress…she carries it off so beautifully. It is also a real TREAT to see her in something other than a bag lady look. She has never been as badly (dressed) as M-K…but usually both of them dress down so much. They are supposed to be such fashion icons…and usually dress so crappy. You can wear jeans or old clothes and still look decent.
Don’t know about the weight gain…probably gained just a little bit…but perhaps,too, she is just “growing into” a more adult womanly body. She works out a lot. Yoga, lunges and other stuff. I have read repeatedly though that she is 5′3″ and that M-K is 5′2″…but if Aslhey does weigh in at about 110…that’s pretty thin (not scarily, though) for 5′3″.
SkinnyGirl, could we see an “update” for M-K…heard that she is really thinner than ever…especially apparent at the Metro Costume Gala . Would like to see the both (Ashley & M-K) at this most recent gala.

Wow, it really shows in her face. I’d say she’s around 112lbs here! I think at 5ft2 95lbs is a good, healthy weight which is where she probably looks her best, particularly as she’s photographed all the time.

Natalie - you have serious issues if you think she needs to lose 17lbs to look her best (112lbs here and you think she looks best at 95lbs)
Thankfully this girl started eating and she looks wonderful now (aside from the fur - yuck).
If you saw the Olsen twins in a desert with flies on their faces you would be sending them money - they were scary starving skinny. So NOT heathly.

I think she’s around 105. You have to take into consideration that the camera really does add pounds. I am the same height as her and I weigh 105. That’s about how big I look in pictures.

Ashley is 5′1″, she has said it herself. Also remember, the camera adds 10lbs. I would say she is around 100lbs. I’m 5′3″ and 109-110…and I think she looks smaller.

I liked her better with dark hair and very thin. There, I said it. For one of the Olsen twins to be at a healthy weight in the true sense of the word, well…. geez, has the world tilted on it’s axis? There’s no way you can tell me MK was SO much smaller than her twin, because they both have been for so long.
This is the first time I have seen either one of them look remotely close to a “normal” weight other than some photos of MK last summer that looked like she had resorted to bulimia rather than her old standby. That didn’t last long either, thank god, because a healthy weight gain is not the same as swapping one ED for another.
I’m sure I’ll get my head ripped off for this, but that’s just my take on it.
It would be nice to see Ashley, at least, give up the ghost on being perpetually a 12 year old. Peter Pan, you are not.
