America Ferrera Loses More Weight

It looks like she has learned the “Hollywood Skinny Pose” already. (Arm on hip, suck everything in). She is looking pretty fit these days - I wonder how much more weight she is planning to lose?
I hope she doesn’t lose too much . . . the show would suffer if Betty was a waif.

I think she and J Hud do an excellent job of showing how you can be bigger but still toned–they can suck it in and show off the hourglass figure–they’ve got bigger frames but it’s not like they’re letting all kinds of flab hang out.

I think she looks great, but should loose weight in the hair…. it makes her head look huge. I hope America doesn’t loose anymore weight though….she’ll look too thin. She looks perfect now.
She looks really good here. And it’s not only her weight. Her confidence, posture, glow and dress all play a part in her elegant look.
She should be careful, while she clearly looks better now her entire career is based on her being the nice chubby girl people love and feel sympathy for.

No, damn it. I have actually found her to be particularly beautiful. Odd for me considering my fascination with uber-skinny celebs. I’ve admired her confidence…I hope she doesn’t go down this path.

As to weight, for her sake, she should lose the extra she carries on her upper arms and abdomen — she has got to be technically (BMI speaking) overweight. She could still lose enough to be on the heavy side of normal, and if she’s as good an actress as they say, she still ought to be able to act without the extra 30 pounds.

I think she looks great and you can definitly tell that she has lost weight. In the first pic she kind of looks like Neve Campbell. I love her dress and I think she’s pretty. very pretty. She’s not too fat all. I don’t think she should lose anymore weight just because she plays betty. Maybe when that show is finished she could lose weight. good for her!

I think she looks really good here, but there’s no way she could become much thinner without having a problem. She has a large frame, and she’s always been heavier. I don’t think there’s a problem with becoming more fit and healthy, just as long as she doesn’t defy her genetics

I feel sorry for her because if she decides to lose weight for her own reasons she’ll be criticized for caving to hollywood pressure and she’ll lose her “unique-curvy-but-confident” thing that made her famous. I hope, if she loses more, that she doesn’t get attacked for it, or replaced on Betty.

I.M.O. …America is looking like she has lost just a few pounds and / or else has been exercising a bit. She looks good in this dress…it appears to flatter her. I cannot help but agree with (several) others of you who have posted. … Give her 6 months or so and she will be well on her way to succumbing to the Hollywood “waif” look…even with her larger framed / boned body. Guess we will have to “stay tuned” ???!!
Speaking of losing a few…saw some pics of La-Lohan at the Metro Gala Event thing and also her movie premier (”Georgia Rule”) and she looks thinner than she has looked in awhile. SkinnyGirl, is there anything to this (Linds’ looking a bit thinner) ?

I’m glad she’s getting healthier, as long as she doesn’t take it too far. It seems like Hollywood only accepts 2 body types now-extremely emaciated and chunky- which are both unhealthy. Eventhough Hollywood says by accepting actressess like her and Jennifer Hudson their embodying a better body image, they are just perpetuating that girls either have to be chunky or thin, not normal-healthy. I want to see more actressess that are at a normal healthy size, like me, not emaciated, but not fat either.

This is crazy. America looks like she is at most a buck 25 in these photos. She is going against everything she stood up for when she first became famous. She must have been at least 40-50 pounds heavier when she first came out. I mean has anyone ever seen “Real Women Have Curves”. Personally I think that America can stand to gain some of the weight back, but in the most healthy way possible of course.
