Out and About: Jennifer Garner

She has kept her baby weight off since she originally lost it.
I think she has the perfect figure - curvy yet slim and toned. What do you all think?

I think she’s so pretty and her body looks amazing! Jennifer grew-up about 2 hours south of me (In WV) and you can definitely tell…she’s humble and has her head on straight! I will forever be a fan!

She has a good body, no question about that, but I wouldn’t say it’s the perfect body (at least not for me). She’s a bit too thin and too muscular… I tend to envy a softer, more feminine figure.
I think she looks good. I have the thin legs yet wide-ish hips like her too. It’s just genetic I think, even if i weighed 80 lbs, I would not just have stick legs. Anyways, go her, she’s hot!
She looks great, healthy and fit. Plus she comes across as a really good mom and person. Which makes anyone more attractive
She has such a small face. Her upper body is nice, but I think she needs some work on her lower body, her hips are kind of wide for her narrow figure.

It looks like she needs to get to work on her upper thighs, they still are a bit large but otherwise she looks pretty good. I think this woman seems like a nice level headed person. That’s the most important thing.

I knew people would bash her thighs. Wtf, she’s wearing pants, for all we know they could be super toned and tight. And even if they’re not, I think she looks great. It’s so pathetic people like Nicole Richie and MK Olsen have set the standard for “appropriate thin”. 10 years ago people called Britney and Christina too skinny, and now a days if they looked like that people would say “They need to lose 10-15 lbs and work out some more.” Ugh, sorry. I’m just annoyed.

I love her style! She looks so fit! Nothing is wrong with her thighs! I don’t have thighs like this, but I can still say her legs are GREAT! The ones who are saying her thighs are big probably are sitting at home right now mad because they can’t eat!
I am more of nicole richie’s build (but with some curves) and I envy Jen’s shape!

no need to be afraid. And why the frown face? I am a chubby chaser. But don’t get me wrong, I love naturally slim and thin women too. I just usually prefer women with some extra. I personally don’t agree with the term “chubby chaser” because we (colloquially speaking) do not call most guys “skinny seekers.” I also love girls with brown hair but there is not a name for that. But I digress, I am a “chubby chaser.”
I would not call her “the perfect body” but she is damn close I would call Jennifer Hawkins & maybe Jessica Alba the “perfect bodies” (Jess’s face contributes alot though she has short legs)

Even though I don’t want to be “chubby”, I find it comforting that guys (like you) don’t always prefer skinny girls. I was raised by a father who told me “if you have enough willpower you can look like that” (pointing to a skeletal runway model). Even my brother would call average girls “fat” so I thought this was a normal male perspective. So I find it interesting when you say things opposite of that. I almost don’t believe you but I know now that not all men think like my dad.

I appreciate your honesty and openness on this topic. I am not gonna pass any judgment, but those views held by some of your family members on body image are atrocious. Believe me and millions of other guys, like thick women. You should take a look at my ex girlfriends for proof of my preference. Take care.
She has a bit of saddlebag there but overall, she looks awesome. My daughter is only a month older than Violet but I still have yet to reach my pre-pregnancy weight. Go, Jen!

I think it’s nice of Jennifer to smile despite seeing the papparazzi in her face. And I think her style is very cute.
jennifer is like perfect. i love her body. and you know whats great? a lot of celeb moms say they like theyre body more after having a kid and actually now that i think about it, a lot of my friends have said that too about themselves after having kids.
I don’t see the “tree trunk thighs” at all. I think if her legs are perfect for her frame, any skinnier would look weird. She has a super cute figure, I’m not a fan of the chest bones though. Are those normal? I sort of have them and I think they make me look like a dinosaur.
glam, I would say that I love my body more after having my son! I’m more proud of it now that I have seen the miracle it produced.
I think I’m generally happier and not as obsessed with my body now as I was before I had him also, which helps.

i’m 5′5′’, 100 pounds and a size 0, but the men close to me are constantly reminding me not to overindulge, as they go back for third helpings of my cooking.

i am all for healthy eating, but it shouldnt be one rule for guys and one for women
but i guess different cultures value different body shapes, some more the very skinny shape
my chinese girlfriends say they get teased by family when they go back home and they are above a UK10/US6 in size even though they are still very healthy and slim, it seems not thin enough compared to what is expected of young women in thier culture

People never look at the OTHER side of the coin. What about us who are naturally thin? I am 5′2″ and 98 pounds. I eat healthily, work out 5 days a week, and have a naturally fast metabolism. I work out as a stress relief, but if I don’t, I LOSE muscle fast and thus, weight. People shouldn’t assume that thin women deprieve themselves of good food (I don’t consider McDonalds good food!). We’re all beautiful as long as we’re healthy. Jen looks great today, and she looked great as Sydney on Alias. She obviously looks healthy and happy.
Apple Jacks - I hear you. I’m a totally healthy eater and active too.
All healthy eaters are not just dieting. My parents were hippies who always had natural foods around the house. Lots of fruits & veggies, lean proteins and whole grains, and never any processed junk food, (which mean home made or cakes and cookies not deprived). It’s just what I crave.
Stop celebrating size whether it’s a 14 or a zero. Eat right and stay active and then celebrate your HEALTH.

she looks great, she is very tonned and thin, i agree that i do prefer the softer look but she’s in great shape, practically perfect figure anyway, pretty face and looks happy! And seems alot more genuine and content then alot of other ‘papped celebs’
