She’s at the same weight she always seems to be. She’s pretty, yes, but there’s something not particulary “sexy” or “hot” about her. It might be that she can’t act for shit, or that she just doesn’t look very exotic, which is definitely more my style. Someone like Jaslene from Top Model can be Latina and still have a highly intense look, whereas Alba is more soft and smiley. Just not my personal preference in beauty.
Oh and those shoes look like she’s about to engage in some serious S&M. Wtf?

duhhhh, Kimkins isn’t a fad diet. Have you even tried it?
She has a pretty face, but she’s flat out normal. Nothing special or “exotic” as i’ve heard. Also, the Kimkins diet does make you lose weight quickly, but that’s because you’re only taking in 500-600 calories a day…that’s less than HALF of what you should have. It’s a starvation diet, which is why weight is lost so quickly. I can lose weight taking in 1000, or even 1400, as can everyone else. It’s an unhealthy way of losing weight.
Personally I don’t think there is anything special about this girl - yeah, she is thin, but that is abou it. I think there are a lot more attractive people out there and find her rather boring.
Oh, and I think her shoes are Hideous!!

You seem to be mistaken. The creator of the Kimkins diet lost 198 lbs. in less than a year (she weighed 318 when she started). I’m pretty sure it wasn’t all water
As for Miss Alba, I’m kinda bored with her. I don’t think see her ever gaining weight. Not any time soon at least..

She looks cute but nothing special. I cannot put my finger on it, but she was so much more beautiful a little heavier. She used to be gorgeous. Now she’s kind of plain - her skin and eyes just don’t glow any more.

She looks perfect. Except for the stupid shoes. And for those of you who say she’s boring, she’s only, what, 12? And an actress. She hasn’t exactly had the time or opportunity to develop great depth or experience profound… anything. She works hard and stays out of controversies re. drugs/ men /employment, etc. So what kind of excitement did you want, exactly?
And I don’t think her comments regarding her ethnic background were racist, she was simply trying to explain a mixed heritage background /upbringing that left her somewhat uninformed about her Latina roots and incompletely assimilated into either culture. So what? Ambiguity and/or not being fascinated about your heritage does not make a person racist ! It just isn’t as important to her as it seems to be to some of you out there…

Hmm, she has a reeeaaaally hot body- no doubt about it, but must admit that I don’t find her “beautiful” in the same way as Mischa Barton or Gisele Bündchen for example.

Bottom line is that she has a prettycute face and a nice body and everyone is not built the same way. Granted she may not have crazy bone sturcture, but thats not everyones cup of tea anyway. She has a good body, good face, there is nothin unattractive about her and shes human! Dude none of us are perfect let that woman just be….For some odd reason we expect people in the media to be amazing looking, but ya they are people too and we gotta just worry about ourselves more and worry about how skinny or fat everyone is… whoo sorry too much typing..

she is so beautiful. i agree, she doesn’t have the angelina jolie or eva mendez in-your-face beauty but she has a cute/pretty thing goin on. and i agree with someone who said that they prefered her with some fat on her face. she was really cute in dark angel with a slightly podgy face channeling that katie holmes (pre-tom) and michelle (don’t know her last name, married to heath ledger).

and about the kimkins diet, i’ve read all about it, but is it worth going for it if you’re going to pile it back on once you eat carbs? i would like to eat carbs one day and don’t think i can cut it out completely. i read somewhere that it’s a lifetime’s commitment and i just don’t think i’m up for that. i love bananas and potatoes too much.

Lydia, I don’t know why you would call it “shameless advertising”. It’s a real diet and it really works, so I have no problem using affiliate links for it. If it was some sort of scam or didn’t work, I would never link to it. I know that this diet works - and fast - because I’m currently on it and lost 10 pounds in about 8 days. Common sense would suggest that if you don’t like the links, don’t click them.
About the kimkins diet. Does it feel like you’re starving yourself? Does the food keep you full? Are there portion size restrictions?

I wish she’d shut up and just be pretty. I used to think she looked incredible but the more interviews I read, the less attractive she becomes in my eyes. She seems so dumb and aloof. I can’t read another article about her where she says she hates being a sex symbol and that people don’t take her seriously. Of course they don’t take her seriously! She couldn’t act to save her life!

For some reason, I think she looks more fit and not as skinny as she did at the MTV movie awards. Its probably the style of the dress and it has a high-waisted cut. I think shes very pretty, but she doesn’t exude that sexuality that, say, Angelina Jolie or Monica Bellucci do.
