The girl looks like she doesn’t eat much of anything at all. She is almost skeletal and definitely unhealthy-skinny… at least in my opinion. What do you all think?

okay people “SKINNY-FAT” means when extremely underweight people (Amy Winehouse, majority of runway models) starve themselves thin, their bodies go into starvation mode, meaning everything they take in is automatically stored as fat since your body thinks you’re going to starve to death. because of this, their bodies typicaly have a higher body-fat percentage than normal and have an abnormally small amount of muscle tissue. it’s documented science. there was also an article in Allure a few months back about “skinny-fat” people. meaning they look very skinny but actually have more fat mass than is healthy.

I’d love her no matter what…her music is outstanding and she is one of a kind. What I love about her most is that she herself acknowledges and admits to the public all her flaws…she knows she has issues and doesn’t deny them.
She has admitted to have becoming sort of an exercise bulimic after being publicly criticised for her weight…she inarguably is compelled to spend hours in the gym every day, and gets frantic if she misses a workout.
But she is so unique and so completely original in her image. And it’s just so damned refreshing that she is not one to constantly make excuses and tell lies about her problems. Did you see her on MTV on 45th at Night? She halted her song “Love is a Lonely Game”, apologized and said it’s been a bottle day and started again. Can you see Brittany or Lindsay admitting it’s been a bottle day?
I’ll forgive her anything, and I just hope she gets through her problems. At least she’s honest.

There are lots of anorexia rumors around practically every skinny celebrity - from Keira Knightley to Kate Blanchett. Some of those are really naturally skinny, others starve themselves and spend fortunes on personal trainers just to fit into that size 0 dress. But almost none of them look unhealthy enough to actually have “anorexia nervosa”

She’s about 25lbs too thin (and I’m the girl who thinks Sienna Miller is getting a bit chunky), her head is too big for her body, she needs to stop canceling shows to go out boozing and don’t get me started on her music. Argh.

Anyone who thinks she looks healthy clearly has a very poor perception. She admitted having an eating disorder in the past and she is looking like she has gone back to her old habits. She is very skinny right now, I noticed how skinny she was in her new video and it shocked me. I know she is 5ft2 and probably not more than 90lb max, which is 10% underweight for her height. Very worrying.

And I understand what people are saying about ’skinny fat’. I highly doubt she has a high body fat percentage, (i.e. over 30%) but I think she may still have what would be a normal body fat percentage ONLY due to the fact that she has absolutely no muscle mass and probably very low bone density from all the starvation.
For example if she weighs 90lb and only has 70lb of lean mass (which is at least 10lb less than what is considered healthy for someone her height), she would still have 22% body fat.

If it weren’t for that, I would be absolutely appaled by her. In re to some of the comments - I think the “love handles” (or more accurately, loose skin) are a direct result of losing a lot of weight very quickly.
Everything about this woman screams “crackwhore.” I don’t use that term lightly, as its become so cliche, but she definetly fits the bill. from the emaciated frame, to sloppy, ill fitting, dirty clothes, to the matted, dreaded-out hair, she looks like someone you’d find stumbling around in a coked out stupor at 4 am on a tuesday.

if you look at the first picture again, you can see she has muscle tone in her arms and if you look at her inner thighs, you can see some extra skin/muscle.

I never write anything but I love Amy!! Yes, she is really thin but she got so much bad press when she was first around. All the papers talked about her being porky so i’m not surprised that she’s suffered a relapse.
She may be doing drugs, and drinking, not eating but at least she’s honest about it. I hope she gets better soon, but she’s never claimed to be a role model. Her fame originates from her being a talented singer, not for being thin. It’s the newspapers who are so eager to talk to her about her weight loss, the same ones who condemned her for being fat when she was just a normal sized girl.

1) Amy has been ricking those tatty ballet pumps/flat shoes for near on over a year now - they look tatty and awful and with all her cash you would think she would at the very least buy some more.
2) she is clearly on something, not booze because she would certainly look a lot more bloated if it was alcohol and not coke or crack that she’s on. She definately a junkie - you can tell that from her near emaciated frame.

This girl needs to get pink slipped by a loved one into a treatment facility for her own good. She has drug/alcohol addiction and anorexia nervosa. If someone doesn’t help her she is going to have heart failure or organ failure and die. That’s it. If this girl is 5′2″ I can pretty well estimate that she is under 80lbs. I’m 5′3″ and not quite up to 90lbs. ( I have a fast metabolism, am not eating disordered. ) I can tell you that she looks quite a bit thinner than I do. This woman looks ill and needs to get help before it’s too late.

Ok I showed these pics to my husband, then later to three of his friends, a male co-worker and my brother. All of them pretty much said no way, no how was this woman remotely attractive. I then showed them the pic of penelope cruz (the one posted today) and they were all like “now you’re talking.”

Not a big an but I don’t think she is too thin. Her hair is huge (her trademark?) and she has an athletic petite frame. If you look at her knees you will see they are nice not boney. I think this is the weight she is supposed to be at.
