Anne Hathaway Update
I keep getting email tips stating that Anne Hathaway has lost a bunch of weight recently.
I’m sorry, but I just don’t see it. She looks pretty much the same as she has - give or take 10 pounds - from her “Devil Wears Prada” Days. She appears perfectly normal-sized and healthy.

I love how you say “give or take 10 pounds,” like its nothing. On girls 10 pounds is an enormous amount of weight, more than 10% in most cases. You would notice it!! There’s no way she’s gained or lost 10 pounds recently, she looks exactly the same.

10 lbs can only be more than 10% if the girl weighs under a hundred pounds. Average height people should not be weighing 90 lbs.

I think she is a natural beauty. However I noticed that jeans are kind of unflattering for normal sized women (Anne, Beyonce, J-Lo). I guess I wave goodbye for my pair.

I agree, normal and healthy, but no change.
I think people get confused about it because she gained a bit of weight for the beginning of Devil Wears Prada so they compare her to that.

A 10lb difference wouldn’t really show on a very tall or overweight female. Yeah on a short or already underweight female it would be really noticeable. So it really depends.

I don’t see any change. She looks good & healthy. I like that her weight remains constant. It shows she hasn’t fallen victim to extreme dieting. She always looks happy and beautiful. I’ve always been a big fan of her!

Dee- I disagree. I think it depends on the person, like you said, but you don’t have to be underweight to see the difference that 10 pounds would make. I lose a dress size with every 5 pounds (solid weight, not water). So again, everyone is different.

I like skinny jeans only if they are capris. Bunched up fabric at the ankle dosen’t give her enough contour.
I love all her movies and I don’t care is she gains or looses. She never plays “the hot chick” in the movie anyway.

I think she looks fantastic. However, I think only the very slimmest of women can get away with skinny jeans. It bugs me to see lovely curvy women wearing them, because there are so many more flattering options.

s- you’re right that 10 pounds is a lot to many girls, but you’d be surprised how many people fluctuate between that range of weight.
i think she looks somewhat heavier than when she played in the devil wears prada, but still slim and i love her shape!

bella: Anne is about 5 foot 8 inches according to IMDB (maybe 5′9″ from having seen her up close and in person on one or two occasions.)

I went to the live taping of Conan O’Brien today, where she was one of the guests, and Ann looked AMAZING. In person, she is tall and slim, not too skinny, but definately slim and fit. I was amazed at how pretty she is in person.

I think she looks the same as always. I think maybe in the top pics the jeans make her legs look a little bigger than they are i but it’s clear she’s very slim and healthy, a good example. i agree with the comments about european women being more confident than UK and US women. Tney seem much more relaxed and it shows… lucky them!:o(
