For the record, I want to say that I think Amy Winehouse is extremely talented. In case anyone wondered.
However, she is also quite a bit on the scary-skinny side. Here are some new photos of Amy with her husband.
While many people could get away with being this skinny and not looking unhealthy, it just doesn’t seem to work for Amy. She vaguely resembles a malnourished, walking cadaver.

I’ve been trying to put my finger on something about her appearance that really bothered me but I just couldn’t pinpoint it.
now I get it - The Shorts. they fit so badly, it drives me crazy. I know that I have seen her in other clothes, I have to have but when she wears shorts it just gets under my skin a little. they are too baggy, saggy in all the wrong places, and I think that they make her seem more skinny than she really is.

No way. Assuming the height is correct, i wouldnt put her an ounce over 90. Perhaps the magazine’s “source ” forgot to factor out the hair… that would easily add 10 lbs.

I think the reason she looks “not so good” at this weight, even though other hollywood celebs may be 5 or 10 lbs. less at her height is the way she goes about it. This is not a raw foods, 5 hours of exercise a day skinny. This a drug induced, no food, no exercise, plenty of booze and cigarettes, no sleep for days skinny. Good call on the poor circulation comment!
I think she likes her hair to be big to emphasize her smallness even more, just like the illfitting, too big shorts. I love her music, I like her style, if this is what she wants, I’m fine with it. She’s seriously got some head and past experience problems that she turns into quality music, IMO. And, I have no doubt that she knows exactly what she is doing to herself and the risks she is taking. I just don’t think she cares.

Still anoither case of a tummy mystery. Pictures taken this weekend show a definite protruding belly—you can actually see the structure of her bones around the middloe, and the round belly sticking out.

I think it’s definitely a case of her head (i.e. her HAIR) that does her an extreme diservice.
Her big ol’ beehive makes her have a ginormous head which only makes her itty bitty skinny body seem more gaunt.
The tattoos don’t really seem to help her either.
p.s. Wino has gone on the record saying she’s struggled with all kinds of eating disorders and drugs. So it’s likely one or the other or both.
