It looks like she has lost some weight since her break-up with Cash…

i didn’t know she broke up with Cash…that’s too bad. she looks heavier than i’ve seen her lately but i think it might be the distracting purple pants. we’ve all seen women either gain weight (Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Simpson) or lose too much weight (kate bosworth, Cameron Diaz) after a breakup. i figure she’ll by one of the losing weight gals, which she doesn’t really have much to lose to go into dangerous territory.
Here in NYC you can bring your dogs into many hotels and stores.
I prefer her thin, like this, but she never thrills me much, regardless.

omg guys, veins that stand out on hands/ feet are genetic or just natural, some people have them and some people dont. Maybe if she was bigger you wouldn’t be able to see them, but its not a warning sign by any means.
That being said, she does look pretty thin….but not in a bad way? she’s been smaller for a long time, but i dont think she looks emaciated or anything. Plus i kinda like the pants hehe.

If this is her body type naturally, than great. But if she works hard to keep her body this thin, then she should let up a bit–five more pounds would make her look better, IMO.
The coat gives the illusion of her being thinner. She’s the same. And not that great in my opinion. Just kinda blah… nothing interesting about her at all.

yes, that is a sign of being very thin. but being very thin doesnt automatically mean anorexic. you have to have the MENTAL part of the disease too.

anyway, I think she looks perhaps a tiny bit thinner then before, but unlike other stars, it doesn’t do anything for her (think about it, like it or not, stars like Nicole Richie became more interesting when they got skinny)
She’s always been thin to me which makes me wonder why people always talk about her “curves.” She’s not sickly skinny though but she could stand to gain 7-10 lbs.

i am so sick of this girl. shes quite boring looking, and flat as a board, yet everyone claims shes curvy. um…memo to everyone, shes a waif with a tan. if she was pale we would all be calling her a waif, yet because she has a tan she must be curvy and healthy. funny how a celebrity becomes “anorexic” looking when they get pale.

I don’t see how she looks tired or sad. As for the veins in her hands, those do not signal an eating disorder! Some people ( me included) simply have more protrusive veins than others.
I think she looks gorgeous and as always, has wonderful style.

Jessica does look somewhat thinner lately…could be her “break-up” with her boy friend, Cash ? If she “milks” the break-up for her “weight loss” as Kate Bosworth did…guess we are ALL in for lots of tabloid reports on her! She did admit having had anorexia before ( in her late teens or early 20’s)…said that she was cold and shivering ALL the TIME. Saw some pictures of her over this summer when the temperatures were in the 80’s and nearly 90 degrees and she had on at least 2 layers of long tops and heavy velour type pants and she even had …like “winter scarvres” around her neck. One time she even had on a leather (winter type short) jacket on! Anorexics are COLD no matter what the season. Does anyone “sense”: “RELAPSE” !!?

ys, she is very thin…although sh has always been thin, she looks to have lost more weight. her legs are teeny-tiny. she has admitted to having an eating disorder in the past, and in times of stress…it is easy for someone with that history to revert back to old habits. in my opinion (in my experience) it is nearly impossible to completely get rid of all disordered attitudes toward food and ones body when you have been down that road.
She always look great. Her face is always pretty and her body always looks slim, even when she was heavier, she was always in the just-right weight range. But in these pics she looks kinda short.
i liked her best (body wise) in “into the blue”…..although i may be alone in that one!!

I can’t really tell if she looks thinner, because her coat is covering her hips and part of her thighs. However, I have never thought she was curvy. I don’t understand why she’s described that way.

She looks about 10 years old here and miserable too. What was so wrong with her feminine curves that she so desparately had to get rid of them? Just another weak actress that needs to use her body to keep the limelight on her…sad really.
I think she looks great and not too skinny at all, she could put on a few pounds and still look fine but there’s nothing wrong with her weight as it is now, she’s just slimmer than average. Also the stress of break-ups causes lots of people to lose their appetite so it may not necessarily be a long term change.

if you look at someone like eva longoria, she’s this thin or smaller but doesn’t look unhealthy like jessica does. you can tell eva is built like that and jessica’s not.

No, she doesn’t look anorexic, she doesn’t appear to have lost weight in the past couple months. Her weight has been like this for about 2 years now. She lost her baby fat, and became this thin a while back.
As for veins, collar bones, chest bones…..those are not indicators of anorexia, despite what the tabloids say. I’ve always had had huge veins that stuck out of my hands and feet, I have protruding collar bones, and my chestbones can be seen at certain camera angles, but I’ve been a healthy weight (5′7 and between 120-130 lbs) my whole adult life.

like someone said before, she admitted that a few years ago to Glamour before she was a huge it-girl. it doesn’t necessarily mean she’s relapsed, but you’re dumb if you don’t raise an eyebrow when an ex-anorexic drops a bunch of weight. she’s not naturally this small even though other people are, period. she was working out like a maniac when she was in that (awful) movie Into the Blue, and she looks at least 10 lbs. thinner here.

Once you have an eating disorder, you will have it your whole life. Yes, you might be a recovered anorexic/ bulimic/etc. - but you are STILL an anorexic/bulimic.
Its not like you get it, it goes away, and you get it again…its more like you have it and (if you are lucky) learn to ignore the unhealthy thoughts/behaviors. It is EXTREMELY common to relapse, and part of ‘recovery’ is having a plan for times of high stress when you may relapse.
I agree that she might have relapsed, as she does look quite thinner than she has in the recent past. The coat could be making her look thinner than she is, though.

I jst saw her yesterday when I was out grocery shopping, as I live in vancouver and I was shocked to see how thin she really is! Scary thin really. She would look much better witha few more lbs on her frame.

I read this article where she admitted to wanting to be taller and thinner. I bet you any money she’s been working on this look for a LONG time. MOst people forget, but before dark angel, Jessica abla flirted with an eating disorder, and her producers of Dark Angel made her gain weight, so that she was 114 pounds. Imagen what she weighed before that.
i know thats not her normal weight. she is purposely dieting to be a size 2. Back when she was on DARK ANGEL(very cool show), she was about 125, about a size 4 and i thought she looked so good because she had curves and she stood out to me. i dont like that she sold out to fit in to mainstream media.
