Christina always seems to look mysterious and beautiful in magazine scans. Her figure looks airbrushed differently in several of the photos as well. For instance, the photo below, she has a much smaller waist/hip ratio than in real life:

This is a good weight for her, and one of the better haircuts I’ve ever seen on her.

I’m glad she’s done a good job the past few years of maintaining a pretty healthy weight.
I LOVE her as an actress, but she has major eating disorder issues and generally seems pretty dilusional about Hollywood and her place in it. She seems to think if she’s skinnier she’ll get the same roles as Sienna Miller or somebody like that. She never seemed to ‘get’ the fact that she comes across as odd/unique and just isn’t well suited for mainstream roles.
I remember reading in Vogue that Kim Bassinger inspired her to only eat naked in front of a mirror….that’s pretty insane in my book

i like the hair on her, mostly b/c it covers her freakishly large forehead. she has a pretty face and now i can see it w/o being distracted .
Sometimes it seems the retouch designers go a bit far… She almost looks noodley in some of the pics.

as someone already said its a good big forhead cover-up. i know its just one of those things people love or hate…but no one ever goes into detail why…

I really don’t think this is overboard photoshopping…she’s always had a really little waist in proportion to the rest of her body, like very curvy even when thin. (Kind of like a Dita Von Teese). I always liked her for some reason….she’s not my idea of hot or beautiful, but she has character and depth I feel, and she’s done some good action.

I don’t think these are that shopped, aside from the usual skin smoothing, under eye bag removing sort of thing. Being able to touch your fingertips together when your thumbs are hooked around the back of your waist isn’t that hard to accomplish, and she really does have a small waist…remember Black Snack Moan?
Either way, I think she’s talented and very pretty, definitely something different from the generic starlets out there. I think the bangs work because her forehead is HUGE, and she haaas to cover that thing up.

Yeah, I agree. I love her photoshopped or not! She just has that look — oh, just so cute!!!! Actually, I think it’s beyond cute! I wouldn’t call it pretty, but it’s SOMETHING! Maybe hot’s the word I am looking for! Well anyway, she really reminds me (more than just a little bit) of that gal Maddie on As the World Turns.

Those are great photos. But there’s no way to tell what someone’s shape really is from a photo shoot. I mean, have you seen the Allure photo shoot of Britney Spears? Far from reality.

It’s so hard to tell a person’s true body from magazine shoots. Regardless, I think she looks stunning here, especially in the second picture. And like some of you, I have always liked her “unique”, unconventional look.

The photos look great; but who knows what she really looks like; these could be heavily ’shopped. She looks fantastic, and so much better with her gigantic bulging forehead covered up. Bangs are really the only choice for her.
GGMe, I don’t know why people hate bangs; maybe because they can look unsophisticated and sort of little-girly-unsexy. But if you have a long face, or a giant bulging forhead, or a third eye, they do a lot to re-proportion your face. It all depends on how it’s done…
You can tell in the picture with the mirror that her waist has been totally photoshopped. Look at her, and then look at the waist/arm in the mirror. Waaayyyy different.
