Vince Vaughn Looks Out of Shape

It doesn’t seem as though Vince spends any time working out…

Vince is a good looking guy. He has an intense face. But he did look better when he was more worked out. He is aging.

I’ve never thought he was attractive in any way whatsoever, and he’s even less so now. He seems like a frat boy that never grew up…
He really doesn’t look like he’s spent a whole lot of time at the gym recently…but who cares? He seems to lead a fairly active lifestyle, and he is by no means overweight…so his health is certainly not in question based on these pictures.
Sure, he’d look great if he toned up a smidge, but he looks just fine right now as well, in my opinion…very typical 37 year old normally-weighted man.
Let’s face it, Vince has never been a hard body, but he def been carrying some extra weight since at least as far back as when he quit smoking while filming The Breakup. I think he’s still a bit slimmer than he was at that time, but not by much. Since he’s got kind of a small head (which is particularly evident with that hair cut), I think he’d look more proportionate if he lost some. Unfortunately, I don’t think he’s filming any action movies anytime soon. PS - Dane Cook is the only comedian/comedic actor that comes to mind who has a good body right now. Jim Carrey has at times, but not right now.

am I the only one who actually thinks this a very unattractive, and pretty much downright ugly man? His face… repulses me. The fact that he’s fat now doesn’t help either.
by the way, imagine if Rian posted pictures here of 37 year old woman who weighed as much as Vince. She’d be torn to shreds. I don’t understand why it’s okay for men to get fat, but not for women.

There are always pics of women on this site and every day people comment that they are too fat, need to lose a few, tone up, etc. If there were pictures of a woman who was carrying around extra weight like Vince Vaughn, you guys would be all over her. Why is OK for him to be chubby but if a female celeb has gained 5 lbs it’s horrible?

Like many men in their thirties, Vince hasn’t made the connection that trying to party like a frat boy = blobby body. I have no doubt that he eats a poor diet (he really looks sickly) and exercises little, if at all. For me, it’s not about the looks - it’s about health. I’m sure his body fat percentage is much higher than it should be, and his heart is most likely suffering also.
If he continues along this path, his first wake-up call will be a heart attack in his early 40’s. Hitting the gym isn’t about looking good - it’s about taking care of your body, so that you live a healthy life. Sure, he looks like a lot of men in their 30’s, because THEY’RE unhealthy also! I’m a cardiac nurse, and I start seeing them on my unit from about age 35 on.

he looks like your average guy - i wouldn’t say no to him - he’d look better and probally be a little healthier if he worked out some (and quit the drinking) - he’s not fat - he has a good proportion to his body (his legs aren’t pin thin compared to the rest of him like lots of guys are) and he’s yummy tall
I’ve never thought he was good-looking, but that weight and that receding hairline look seriously off-putting. I suspect he’ll have to focus on playing violent psychos and abusive husbands from now on.
Its post Jennifer Aniston days. She had that boy on her health regimen. He was chubby before her too. He loves to party more than work out.

Rosa, as a cardiac nurse, are you telling me that the first picture of him without his shirt sounds alarm bells for you? He doesn’t carry hardly any extra weight in his middle (see the picture with him bent over…which is not usually a good look for anyone). No, he doesn’t have much muscle definition, but I’m surprised that someone in the medical profession would assume that he’s a heart attack waiting to happen based on these photos.
As for his partying, that is just speculation, certainly not anything that can be concluded from these photos.
i happen to agree with rosa. i’m not a nurse. nor a doctor. if the outside is showing what’s going on inside (and usually it is) vince’s diet is dismal. he is BLOATED. his skin has an unusual color. he has bags under his eyes the size of cleveland. no muscle definition. he also always has his mouth open. out of breath, buddy?

Honestly, he wouldn’t look too bad if he hit the weights twice a week and did a bit of cardio…He’s not fat per se, but out of shape. Some fresh produce and a healthier lifestyle in general probably wouldn’t hurt either.
oh and look at his neck/chin: they call it a bourbon neck, or a whiskey chin. usually it’s on old men.
I’ve read previously that he suffered a severe back injury when he was young (car accident, I think)…I wonder if this keep him from working his abdominal area? He really doesn’t have what I would call a “beer gut”.

Yep, I agree with some of the comments I see…by Hollywood standards, he’s at least flabby/chubby. It doesn’t mean I don’t like him, bc I like him a lot, love his acting, a lot of the roles he’s played, etc, but appearance-wise, he’s flabby. I mean, look at how celebs like Britney, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson, and many other women are completely torn to shreds by the media and public bc they’re too “fat” or “meaty”. ANd those are singers, on top of everything, their skills and job don’t involve their appearance on as direct a level as actors/actresses’ appearances do. Anyways, I think either way you look at it, fat or not fat, it should be on a fair standard, genderwise….or at least somewhat close to fair!

Did anyone here see the movie “Clay Pigeons”? Man was he hot in that flick (that was 9 years ago though).
And I love how everyone blames weight gain (especially in men) on boozin’ it up too much. I know plenty of men, in their 40’s mind you, that are major drinkers but still manage to stay in shape. I think it’s the lack of activity, poor diet in COMBINATION with the drinking that causes problems. It just shows you once again, that everyone is different.

I’ve never liked him. He always looks so out of shape and blubbery and his face has an unfortunate arrangement of features. he’s average at best. The only thing he has going for him is is height (oh, and a stonking great bank balance).

Wow, there seems to be more acceptance for men when they gain weight(no surprise there). He was attractive in his younger years(see Swingers); the years of partying have not done him any favors. He looks unhealthy, not necessarily weight wise, it is evident by looking at his skin and his body. You can see it in other photos very well.
Vince has lost weight, but has obviously omitted the exercise that should go along with dieting. And I’m sure he still boozes it up every single night.

I think he looks hot! His body is perfect to me! I like men with meat on their bones and a beer belly! Not all ripped with every muscle in their stomachs bulging out! I myself have been fit all my life and am striving for a beer belly and to be a little chunky! It’s manly and sexy. Real men eat alot and drink beer and aren’t in the gym every day obsessed about gaining weight!
