I think the only reason that Keira Knightley doesn’t look scary, skeletal skinny in these photos is because of the toga-like dress she has on. I mean, it has layers that wrap around and around and hang loosely. If a normal-sized person wore the dress, they’d probably look chunky.
Anyway, the dress is hideous (in my humble opinion) but she looks rather pretty, as usual.

IMO she looks slender as she always has but not obsessively skinny. She has a thin frame, is not heavy busted and has a (small) pear shape. Her bones and veins are not protruding. Yes, she’s thin but probably just wants to be left alone about it. It’s like we as women can never be perfect. If she is too thin then I guess I am too and I think I’m perfectly healthy.
Her gaunt face gives away her scary thinness; her cheeks have sorta sank into her face, and that’s a pity, as she used to have such pretty features.
And I would do without that glimpse of her nonexistent chest.
She looks fine, her arms are not bony. She looks slim but certainly not scary.
I think this picture just proves that the “bobble-head” pics posted not too long ago were photo-shopped. I thought they looked suspect.

I think she looks lovely. The dress is somewhat odd, though. But I like the rather dark eye makeup with the more floaty dress. I know some cretin’s going to say that a girl with a small chest shouldn’t be wearing something that exposes so much of it, but I think it would look hideous with ANY sort of cleavage.
she’s too thin, but whatever she knows she is and knows it gets her publicity. She isn’t at deaths door or anything, but definetly too thin. There have been so many “scary skinny” girls the past few years its kinda silly to act shocked by pics like this. It’s Kiera its how she looks.
The dress does look like curtins knotted up with a hair band, and yet she still looks stunning. Only she could pull that off.
And bliss, some people just naturarly don’t have much boobage. I personally have a rack like Keira, so it dosn’t nessiarily mean that she’s sick. Some people are just flat chested, and I personally like it. Very high fashion.
Serendipity, I find myself agreeing with you quite a lot. I think I may even sit here nodding my head. I personally like very small chests, even flat ones, for the same reason.

She pulls it off better than most, the only thing is being so skinny makes her shoulders look really wide.
Who cares, honestly. She anoys me. She wants to be taken seriously as an actor and then comes to the movie premier in a toga, looking gaunt and too thin.
But I seem to forget she’s only 22 (I think) . I say it again–her protests that she doesn’t have an eating disorder make it more likely that she has some sort of problem. Otherwise, it wouldn’t matter to her as much (IMHO)

Keira is not that thin, in my opinion. The small chest may give that illusion but if you look at her arms closely, they look just fine. I bet if she had bigger boobs, she’d automatically look “healthier” for some of you.

i highly doubt she starves herself. And her face only looks gaunter as she gets older- girls tend to lose the fullness in their faces as they age- especially those with prominent bone structures.

I have never thought this girl looked scary skinny. Her arms always look somewhat toned and her legs and thighs are always muscular. She just doesn’t have that delicate, frail skinny look like nicole richie did at her thinnest. Plus, Kiera Knightley’s ‘beauty’ is so overrated. Her face in the last post of her where she’s grinning looks really scary and ugly.

keira is definately a naturally very slim girl, theres no denying that. I imagine its probably very easy for her to slip into a weight too low for her frame, and so has to struggle to keep her weight up. I dont think she’s bothering to do that.

i don’t know how anyone could say this dress is nasty…. it’s an incredibly beautiful work of art in my opinion, something original and tasteful and individual, and not some shoddy, mediocre or bland high fashion dress that most bland hollywood actresses wear.

You need only to “google” images of her to see that she has, in the past, had slightly larger breasts. She was always very thin, but she really is much smaller now. I’m not really sure where everyone is getting the idea that she is pear shaped…there are candids of her in a bikini that do not indicate that this is the case at all.
I truly believe that she deliberately chooses dresses to exentuate her thinness…it is, after all, really her only claim to fame (yes, I know, she was in the Pirates movies, but, let’s face it, she wasn’t the stand-out). Additionally, she very often poses in ways meant to appear even slimmer and more gaunt. She is a mediocre actress, at best, and would likely get very little, if any, attention were it not for the media scrutiny over her figure.

I have to say, er no!, that I thought she was absolutely horrific in Pride and Prejudice. I could not for the life of me fathom how she could have been nominated for an award. I was prepared to dislike her costar much more, since Colin Firth was so darned dreamy in the 1995 version…but I honestly thought she was the stinker in the movie.
I do think she’s a pretty girl…just terribly annoying.

the only reason clothes hang better with no boobs is that modern styles are designed on androdgenous figures, not one that has boobs or hips! Its not the boobs fault. Its the fashion industry. Theres ways of cutting clothes to look great on boobs, its that most designers dont like to. Or arent skilled enough to.
But never blame your boobs. Your body is never the problem, nor the thing that should need changing to fit properly in clothes, its the clothing that should be tailored to your body.

PLEASE! She is just fine! Thandie Newton is much thinner than Keira. Keira’s arms have substance to them , and you don’t even see her bottom half which is where she carries all of her weight. Give me a break. Keira has been seen in long flowing dresses recently, and those are the sort that always make her look thinner because of her body type. She is very thin on top, not so much on bottom. But she has a very beautiful face. She has always been flat chested and there’s nothing wrong with that. I saw something about the making of the 1st Pirates movie and they had to spend hours with Keira in makeup creating cleavage. She laughed about that.
I was somewhat shocked by the picture, and how Keira looks like the walking dead, but I was just as shocked by Rian’s belief that Kiera does not look scary thin.

i would say audrey hepburn is an exception, but she didn’t really wear an overload of black under her eyes…she mostly wore her eyeliner on her eye lid.
