Is Beyonce Putting On More Weight?
Category: Celebrity Weight Gain, BeyonceI guess toga dresses are “in” right now… unfortunately, they don’t do a whole lot body-wise for the person who is wearing them.
Take Beyonce at the 2007 Video Music Awards, for example. I don’t know for sure if it’s the cut and fall of the fabric, or what exactly, but she looked several pounds heavier than she did the last time we saw her.
What do you guys think - has she gained?

I think Beyonce is beautiful, just breathtaking. However, she does seem to be gaining. I personally think that she looked her best after she lost weight for Dreamgirls. She was no were near thin, and she wasn’t as “curvry.” Either way, she’s still pretty.

She has gained weight. She usually has a thinner face, even though she isn’t a small girl. At this point her face is getting rounder, and she needs to put a stop on the weight gain pattern or she really is going to be heading into serious weight gain problems. She’s not a thin woman, and she’s going to be moving into hefty territory if she doesn’t get a grip on it. She has chosen to be a performer, she knows what is expected of her and part of that is maintaining her professional appearance.
I wish I had her curves…lol…

think she went back to her pre-Dreamgirls size, which to me was great cos i thought she became a cardboard cutout of all the other IT Girls and it made me sad. i think her curves are gorgeous…to me, she’s one of those girls that look better with a bit of padding.
I do think she looked heavier and the outfit wasn’t doing her any favors either. I was commenting about that to my husband when she accepted that award. I was also worried she was gonna come out of her dress. I think she probably flucuates a good 20 lbs depending on whether or not she is training for something. (Hey that’s nothing on Janet’s yoyo’s.)
Still pretty, of course, andI like her curves and personality.

I think she could look much better if she lost few pounds
The dress isn’t doing anything for her and it’s difficult to see her figure. She could be thinner, but doesn’t she like being a little thick? I think she has a very pretty face at any weight. She needs a some lotion on her knee, though.
her arms are fine…she is just trying to hold them so they look thinner[just like every other woman] she knows her pic is getting taken so she tried to look her best!!!!

I think Beyonce is gorgeous and can carry a few extra pounds. That being said, I can’t tell if she’s gained or not. This dress does not suit her and would add weight to anyone {Keira, are you listening?!}. I mean, it’s shiny and has tons of folds…not exactly slimming.
She has a curvier figure…but her wght has defin yo-yoed…she did a crash diet for dreamgirls and diets always end with more wght gain…you can see it now

She’s gained. She and I have the same body type…that is to say we gain in hips/thighs/face/butt.Toga dresses are so not met for our body type…the draping accentuates any and I do mean any curves. The toga is meant for the Kiera Knightley crowd who have no curves and can carry that wispy silhoutte…..not Beyonce

That dress was awful! I agree with the others leave the togas for Keira! She looked heavier on my tv than she does in these pics. She’s a beautiful woman with killer curves and a horrible stylist!
Apart from when she lost all the weight for Dreamgirls, her weight has always stayed the same.

Usually that’s not my ideal body type (I prefer thinner women), but I can’t figure Beyoncé with a smaller frame, she’s just built this way and carries it beautifully.
Beyonce is gorgeous, even when she’s got extra weight and a ton of make-up on. The dress is ugly. And those bolt-on boobs are fug too.
Ouch, that dress sure isn’t doing her figure any favors, that’s for sure. Other than that, she does look like she may have gained a few. I’m not a fan of the silver shoes with the gold/bronze dress.

The dress adds ten pounds to her.
It’s the dress, you can see how small her waist is from the little tie that goes around. However she is not a skeleton like Keira Knightly and should wear something more flattering..and leave the toga’s for Miss Knightly!

It looks like she has gained weight, but she carries it well. She has always been a curvy woman! Although Beyonce doesn’t have the same body type as many other celebrities, she is still gorgeous!
On another note, Alicia Keys looked like she has gained more than a few pounds last night on the VMA’s. Her legs/butt was much larger than I remember. Post pictures of her please!!

Beyonce is so gorgeous, I wish my body were like hers. She is curvy in the right spots and has a toned tummy w/ a little waist. Many women WISH they could look like that. She is not fat, Rosie O’Donnel is fat. How can people even make such a ridiculous comparison.
I think it’s the dress, it does nothing for her! Otherwise i don’t think she’s gained and if she has doesn’t really matter as she’s fit and toned anyway.

You are sick! Who has beautiful armpits. I think her amazing beauty and confidence is threatening to our society because we have been successfully brainwashed to believe that beauty has only 1 definition. Beyonce is very very beautiful but I don’t think she looked very good that night. The color of the dress made her skin look greyish and it didn’t do anything for her figure. She looked heavy especially in her lower body.

Beyonce is an example for every woman. Just be happy with yourself. It doesn’t matter if you have a little more waight than you should. As long as you buy your clothes in the right size (not to small!!) that you look beautiful.
All those skinny models do not have any bodyshape and look really unhealthy. I reather be fat than skinny!!
