Crazy Celebrity Food and Drink Demands

Interesting pre-show snack…
Believe it or not, it wasn’t Britney. (She reportedly asked for fruit, little sandwiches and margaritas before the show).

According to In-Touch Weekly, it was Justin Timberlake who asked for all of that hard alcohol. He also requested several regular drinks, like orange juice, cranberry juice, soda water, apple juice, coke and many others. (He should have just requested a personal bartender and custom-stocked minibar!)
50 Cent must not have been in a boozin’ mood - he ordered a bucket of fried chicken and several candy bars, among other things. Fall Out Boy asked for an interesting yet sweet combination of food and drink - peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, gummi candy, a bottle of vodka, cool ranch doritos and a bottle of champagne. (Not a fun combo to wake up to the next morning, I’d imagine!)
Health-nut Nicole Scherzinger ordered Trader Joe’s Country Organic Multigrain Oatmeal and 4 Mayoplex protein shakes.

I can’t believe these stars drink vodka before they’re suppose to go on. I would be falling down drunk. Maybe they can hold it better than me.
urgh… anyone who has ever mixed vodka and champagne on the same evening will know what folly this was on Justin’s part.

Jeeze, picky picky celebs. It reminds me of somthing from the Simpsons (if anyone watches that):
“I want a single plum, floating in perfume, served in a mans hat.”
It’s a bit silly really, and I don’t mean the normal requests.

And I have no doubt that the rumors about her drinking Margaritas before she performed are true. Anyone who saw it must have noticed the couple times she swayed and almost toppled over.
Also, she was probably so nervous that drinking was (in her mind) the only way to ease her and make dancing somewhat more comfortable in front of all those people.
Justin said he had a sinus infection. I’d down all that alcohol too if I had to perform in that kind of pain.
Oh, and to add to that. We expect these folks to be on 100% of the time, but the VMA’s isn’t a place where the industry wants you to step down your pony show.
i wonder how if they are just ordering crap to see if they’ll get it - and i wonder how much is for them and how much is for their 15 person entourage
I would request pasta from Tuscany, wine from Bordeaux, bread from anywhere in France, tacos from Mexico, beer from the UK at pub cellar temperature, a box of Twinkies….and Pam Anderson buck-naked in my dressing room!
Haha, Nicole Scherslapper and her 50 protein shakes and tree-bark cereal…SOMEBODY clearly has to watch what they eat 150% of the time or they’ll get chunky! Some of those skinny celebs fight tooth and nail to stay that way. They’re not all built like Paris or Rachel Bilson or someone naturally teensy like that. Before someone complains, I think it’s good that Nicole doesn’t booze her face off all the time, but c’mon. Her requests are hilarious.

Sylvie - you can’t believe they drink before going on? LOL, you must not have watched the VMA’s about 3/4th of the presters, winners and performers looked intoxicated….some couldn’t control themselves like Jamie Foxx who made a fool of himself

I always wondered how celebs could get up the nerve to get on stage and be that calm…it’s gotta be the booze! Holy crap do they drink a lot! I’d be falling down drunk after 3 lite beers.
I think celebs get sort of over the top with some of their diva requests….only green M&Ms or organic-soybased-whatevers, etc. It’d be hilarious if the crews just substituted something like tap water for Evian or something like that. I bet half the time, the celebs wouldn’t know the difference. I used to work at a vet clinic/kennel that boarded animals and this one lady always brought a case of Evian for her Pekingese. So guess what we did? Gave the dog tap water and drank the Evian ourselves. Hey, like the dog’s gonna care, right?
