Chris Noth Told To Lose 20 Pounds for “Sex and the City” Movie
Here is a little news item that proves that it’s not only female celebrities who sometimes have to lose weight/tone up for a movie…
According to a little blurb in the latest OK! Magazine, Chris Noth (Mr. Big) was told he needed to lose 20 pounds before filming the Sex and the City movie.
I’m assuming since these photos are from the movie set - which starting shooting last week - that he has already lost the 20 pounds.
In any case, he looks good, although who knows what is hiding under that tuxedo?

LOL that’s kinda funny. with Big’s character you wouldn’t really think he’s the kinda guy that would watch his figure, so if he gained a bit of weight…who cares.

Always thought he was smokin’ hot in that he’s-probably-a-total-cad-but-worth-it kinda way. And despite an almost complete lack of emotional range in his acting… He looks a little pudgy here. Sort of thick in the middle and butt.
And why is SJP wearing a slip-cover? Make that two slip-covers. Tied with a studded pit-bull collar. And carrying a tiny Eiffel Tower? I understand style, even fashion most of the time. But this is pure trendy crap.

I LOVE Chris Noth BUT he does have a belly and is trying to hide it with that suit! IMO he hasn’t lost the weight yet although I saw some really bad pictures of him in swim trunks at the beach a few months back….

I never liked this show, and didn’t understand his appeal. I do like her as an actress, tho not in this role particularly. She does a great job with whatever material she’s given, I just don’t like the show.

I saw him on the streets of NYC a couple of months ago. TRUST ME he needed to lose the weight - he had a tum tum on him. Plus, for some strange reason, he dyed his hair blonde.

Have a horrible feeling about this movie - think it will be a big mistake.
They should have just left well enough alone - but then I guess none of them have exactly set the acting world alight since they left and they were all made an offer they couldn’t refuse.

Well, if he gained weight, he should loose the weight. He is playing a character and if there is no reason for the character to have gained wieght in the story line, the weight should go.

he looks great - very sexy guy - but when he gains weight it looks very unhealthy on him - his face looks not well - i’m not sure about the lose weight for a movie role thing - personally i’d do it - but there is something a little not right about asking or requiring someone else lose weight — i was just wondering this morning if Kristin Davies who was reportedly a little heavy had to lose weight too - and Kim Cattrall who repoertedly gained some weight as well - Srarh Jessica looks gross skinny - her legs are ugly - she looks like a toothpick Picnoccio

Awww, I don’t think he needed to lose weight! I think it just made him look older…look at the dark circles under his eyes. Guys should wear concealer too.
