More Britney Spears Eating Disorder Behavior

Poor Britney. Reports about her erratic eating and exercising behavior are now flooding the media airwaves fast and furiously.

I already covered the tabloid story about Britney’s weird, eating-disorder type of behavior. Now there are new reports coming out that suggest this has been going on for a long time - even in her “hot body” days.

Back when Britney was a size 0 and had abs of steel, she would do about 1,000 sit-ups a day. She would often pig out on junk food for a few minutes, then suddenly freak out and start exercising like crazy when she realized what she was doing.

Earlier this year when Britney did lose some weight (after rehab), she was taking dance classes nearly every day, but not eating much of anything. Britney would go through fast-food drive-thrus, but not eat any of the food she purchased.

Brit lost quite a lot of weight while she was at Promises,” said the snitch. “When she came out she was planning her comeback tour at the House of Blues and really wanted to get back to the girl she was. But on top of taking lots of dance classes, Britney was barely eating…”

Now it seems Britney is hooked on diet pills (Hoodia) and possibly using an inhaler to control her appetite. Supposedly there is some sort of appetite suppressant in the inhaler medicine.

Now, her friends are worried that she’ll be going on a starvation diet after the disastrous publicity hitting the fan lately.

What do you all think?

I think she has not one real friend. She’s lost. I hope she retires and get some therapy for her children’s sake.

  2. tana | 26/09/07

    first!

  3. poops | 26/09/07

Cry me a salty river. Time to end it, Brit Brit.

  4. Christine | 26/09/07

LOL! Those pics are hilarious! Jesus. Just call it a day, Britney. You’re done.

  5. Anna | 26/09/07

I just feel for her. Like the first comment said, she is just lost. She needs some direction in her life for sure…wish I could get the bible in her hands.

  6. shady | 26/09/07

she is soo sad *rolls eyes*

  7. JustMe | 26/09/07

What I think, is that those inhalers are dangerous — if she’s using an OTC inhaler, and I think she is, she could develop an arrhythmia and die. That’s what happened to Nikki Taylor’s sister.

When Britney first appeared on the scene, I thought she was cute, but I didn’t like her. It was hard explaining to my then-7-year-old daughter why I didn’t want her to dress like Britney Spears. Then, when she married Kevin, I thought she was hilariously stupid. Now, I think she’s tragic; an accident waiting to happen. She’s old enough to know better but hasn’t been taught squat. She’s just been the meal ticket for hundreds of people who won’t say no to her. Ultimately, when (not if) she cracks up/dies, it will be her parents’ fault.

  8. Joelle | 26/09/07

Poor Britney. I feel for her, too. I hope she gets better soon.

Personally, I believe Britney is talented, especially as a performer. I don’t write-off talent. I’m rooting for her.

  9. Maxx05 | 26/09/07

A BIBLE???? GAG ME!!!!!!!!!!!! Take the religion CR@P elsewhere, please SPARE ME! Britney needs a lockdown facility , or a severe therapeutic community for a good long time. One where she can’t get the trash rags, media, or her hangers on interrupting her psycho-analysis. She needs BIG HELP. She needs to get help for out of control eating problems, drug problems, and self esteem problems, and needs to learn how to live life. I’m not a fan of hers, but I feel very very sorry for her. I wouldn’t wish this apparent misery on anyone. She has all of this fame and notoriety and it is ruining her. It is horrific and sad. I REALLY hope that she’ll make a good decision for herself.

  10. Beth | 26/09/07

How can you be addicted to Hoodia??! That’s hilarious. Surely they aren’t habit-forming.

And that top photo of her cramming food in her mouth looks really fake.

  11. Miss Ramona | 26/09/07

Poor girl. When she was younger there was a period where she was VERY thin. I wouldn’t be surprised if she does have an eating disorder or a combination of a few.

  12. Baby | 26/09/07

    This article is all lies.

  13. healthyisbeautiful | 26/09/07

I remember watching “Diary” and wondering why even though she was always around food she never ate anything. I didn’t see her eat a thing, even though she was talking about loving her “mama’s home cooking.”

It would surprise me if she did have an eating disorder: she was a perfectionist, her body was constantly scutinized and worshiped, she probably had nasty guys looking at her when she was 16 because her manager wanted her to be jailbait and that would screw anyone up.

That’s probably when her drug use started, too. Maybe she was using chemicals to replace food? So sad.

  14. erika | 26/09/07

    look ed’s are common!
i feel badly for britney..but i am mia. and so is she…

  15. Edan | 26/09/07

That photo of her with the ice cream is terrible. Especially because her hair and glasses almost look cute. Then we remember that she has the IQ of a medium size kiwi and can’t even take a bite of food without looking like a garbage disposal.

  16. Tiff | 26/09/07

I couldn’t have said it better myself Maxx05. I hope she gets ALL the help she needs (no only food related, but as you just pointed out). LOL at you comment Edan.

  17. Kiwi | 26/09/07

Take it back, Edan. I am offended. :-(

  18. Jodi | 26/09/07

    Amen, Maxx05.

  19. Slugs | 26/09/07

With the pressures put on her growing up, performing, marrying, being pregnant for two years, divorcing, and then being continually picked apart…. it’s really no surprise that she would have an eating disorder. She looks so unhappy. I do wish her the best and that she can get supportive people around her and she can find trust in them.

  20. Nicole | 26/09/07

Well, we all seem to agree that Britney needs help. What is needs is some serious medical intervention first, then maybe we can look at some spiritual guidance.

Erika, yes, eating disorders are way too common. Just because Britney has one doesn’t mean they should be looked at as okay. There is help out there though you, Britney, and everyone with an eating disorder.

  21. nora | 26/09/07

i don’t remember when she was a size 0. she’s built to have hips. she looked good back then, but the smallest she could’ve been was a size 2.

  22. cookie | 26/09/07

It is sad, really, really sad - the poor woman can’t even change her tampon without the world and its wife taking a pop at her for it. The remedy is obvious - she needs to get out of the public eye, start taking care of herself and her kids, and get the help she needs to sort out her head - but until she works this out for herself she’s on a downward spiral to God knows where.

  23. Maxx05 | 26/09/07

LOL to Jodi, Edan and Kiwi!!!!

  24. Lenore | 26/09/07

I have a hard time believing she was ever a size 0….she has always had a large bone structure, even at her thinnest she still looked like a size 2 would fit her better at the very least.

And that first pic of her is really gross lol. Hopefully she will find a reliable source to help her out.

  25. Prinzz | 26/09/07

I know I shouldn’t say that but that second pic adds such a hilarious touch to the article.

  26. Ultra-skinny girl | 26/09/07

    Guys..ED can also mean:Errection disorder..just so we’re clear..

  27. Laura | 26/09/07

whoever let her put a restraining order on her mom was stupid. she needs intervention from someone, anyone. and hey, maybe religion would help the equation… it couldn’t hurt it.

i dunno about the source on this though…. it’s so easy to just say stuff.

  28. midnight | 26/09/07

her “friends” are worried?! what, about the risk of losing the cash cow? calling themselves her friends is pretty blatant of that bunch of enablers surrounding her. it is painfully obvious she has no real friends. I’m afraid she is very likely to wind up dead soon in more ways than just career-wise.

about dress sizes though, I remember reading earlier this year she was planning to “get back to size 2″.

  29. Erica | 26/09/07

She was never a size zero! At her smallest, she was a size two. Her frame was way too large to ever be a 0 even when she had hardly any fat on her body. Plus, I read in another article that she was quoted as saying she wanted to get back to size 2. Anyway, by the looks of her, she was never ever thin enough to be a 0.

  30. Erica | 26/09/07

Also has anyone noticed that when Britney was in shape/size 2 or whatever, her body looked a lot like Carmen Electra’s (minus the implants)?

  31. parissucksliterally | 26/09/07

I agree with those who say she was NEVER a size zero! She is a thicker, muscular girl- even when she was at her tiniest, which was very small, she couldn’t have been less than a 2-4.

  32. MMH | 26/09/07

Britney is really messed up. She obviously has many, many, issues and needs to get out of the spot light for a while and into therapy! Personally, I think she’s Bulimic.

  33. Lynsey | 26/09/07

Its quite sick that the whole world is watching a girl who clearly has mental issues, and is doing nothing but mock her. She has no one to turn to who probably wont stab her in the back, and the media are loving it. Its shocking.

  34. Cheryl | 26/09/07

She is so messed up! I don’t see her getting her act together anytime soon… which is very sad for her kids

  35. lambman | 26/09/07

she was never a size 0, I think that’s why guys liked her so much, because at her fittest she had amazing muscle tone and breasts…she was never “skinny” she was fit and hot….more Jessica Biel than Kate Bosworth and that’s what guys like.

but now she’s a mess from the top of her bad extentions to the tip of her chipped pedicure. I really wish she would just move back home with her family and take a year off….not that she’s actually be working, but partying 7 nights a week is more exhausting than any actual job

  36. Mandi | 26/09/07

Tim and Alfred, you are idiots, no offense…and lay off the caps, you don’t need almost solid caps to prove a point, it just makes you look stupid and immature.

By the way, who are you to judge her? It’s not like you know her personally. Considering we only know what the media puts out, and most of the time it’s stupid shit they pull out of their asses to make people look bad…we’re not getting the whole story.

For God’s sake, perhaps she does bring some of it on herself by acting stupid, psychotic, and looking shitty…but it doesn’t help that there are tons of stupid dickheads with a camera waiting to snap pictures of her at her worst moments and sell them to money hungry tabloids.

  37. Stephanie | 26/09/07

I used to think Britney was just pathetic, but now I feel bad for her. Obviously her life is a mess and every time something goes wrong, the media jumps all over it. I have an eating disorder and having it on the cover of every magazine of how much of a failure I am at life would crush me.

  38. Mandi | 26/09/07

there are people who make a living out of killing stupid fucks too….

  39. Mandi | 26/09/07

how would you feel if you had people poking fun at YOUR fat ass 24/7?

  40. jp | 26/09/07

Right on Maxx! She needs real, actual help…not a bible!

That last picture of her crying actually made me really sad. She seems to have serious mental disorders and nobody around her to help. She’s been in the business since she was a little kid, so I don’t really think she’s had a chance to grow up the way we’re supposed to. Now she’s a mom, and completely lost.

I never used to pity her at all because I thought she had too many resources to be this big of a mess, but now I’m starting to feel bad for her.

I couldn’t imagine watching my child go through something like this.

  41. Shannon | 26/09/07

What is she crying about? I still cant help but feel sorry for her. TMZ videos, they are constantly on her a$$. Yea, I know the price of fame but I can see how it could push one over the edge. She should leave L.A. and get some peace.

  42. Keri | 26/09/07

This may be a serious problem! Brit has issue’s that she needs to take care of. Everyone is comming down on her! And she doesn’t take pressure well! Why do I have a bad feeling she could take her own life! I hope not for the sake of her kids!

  43. Cassanda | 26/09/07

hey shar, how do you smell? hopefully you don’t smell like the asshole you are

  44. Serendipity | 26/09/07

This all seems like a last-ditch publicity stunt to me. Stupid and offensive to those who really struggle with eating disorders. People who have an ED would do anything to hide it, especially someone who is constantly under media scrutiny.

  45. Shannon | 26/09/07

Cassanda, couldnt agree with you more. Some people have such low self esteem that being a “troll” on blogs and saying vindictive things somehow makes them feel better. Evil hearts. Karma, what goes around comes around. Saying you want someone to OD etc…could come back to haunt a person like that. Maybe themselves, family or friend will indeed od. Be carefull what evil thoughts you want to happen to others.

  46. Shar | 26/09/07

her eyeglasses produce tears now she just pulls on the side and pronto

  47. Mandi | 26/09/07

Shannon, you’re completely right about karma…I’ve seen it happen to people, it’s really not pretty..wonder if they’ve ever heard that what you say comes back times 3 also, not always possibly but I’ve seen it be worse..I feel sorry for people like that, they must have really shitty self esteem to make such comments about others. I agree with you though, it’ll come back to haunt them.

  48. Ellie | 26/09/07

First, Hoodia is not addicting. It is a natural cactus that is grown in Africa. She must have OCD to get addicted to Hoodia. Same with the Zantrex that she was supposidely taking. Second, I do feel bad for her because I know she has a lot of problems and a lot of crap to deal with, but it’s time for her to retire and give up. If anything, just write a damn book. She has kids, she’s going through a whole mess of crap, etc. The Hollywood life is not for her anymore. She’s not fat, and an eating disorder is a SERIOUS thing. What she has is a binging and over exercising disorder. Probably a bit of body dysmorphic disorder in there as well. I don’t see how people can say such terrible things and still sleep at night. This isn’t something that she can fix overnight.

  49. Caroline | 26/09/07

That poor girl. Honestly, her life is harder than so many peoples’. It really is.

I don’t think anyone on this site could know the pressure she has gone through during her life to be perfect. Just 1/100th of that pressure would be enough to break somebody. She needs a lot of love, and help. One day she will hopefully look at herself and realize how much she should be proud of the things she HAS done, and then give herself a break. If she never does that though, this could continue.

If you heard one person say that you looked ugly behind your back, wouldn’t that hurt? Wouldn’t that take a week or so to completely get over and forget about? What if the newspapers were saying it?

She is one to be pitied, not hated. Poor poor thing.

  50. Persephone | 26/09/07

I don’t ever remember her being a size 0. Even when she was at her thinnest. Is anyone in shock that she had eating disordered behaviors even back in the day? Her weight used to fluctuate like crazy. She looked good on tour, and not so good when she was on stage.

  51. mini-me | 26/09/07

It’s such a shame we all seemed to miss the size 0 stage yet all unfortunately managed to catch her performance at the vmas…..things certainly have a bad way of working out for Britney………i think she needs to take a step down and sort herself out because her time is running out rapidly………

  52. anna | 26/09/07

come on guys, give her a break. have you never had a time when you desparately wanted to be a bit thinner because its a general misconception that you become more attractive to guys the slimmer you are, but at the same time have such a shit life that the little comfort you can find is in food. i have!!

  53. Maxx05 | 26/09/07

As much as I like thinness, I think that is really the least of Britney’s concerns right now, really. The girl is absolutely bat$hit, fruitloops, and needs professional intervention for a long time. She has a serious chemical imbalance in her brain and needs to be on medication to correct it so she can think straight. Her weight swings, drug/alcohol binges, crazy food& eating patterns are all symptoms of something very wrong in her brain that needs to be fixed. I don’t she needs to be the size 0that she never was, she needs to get her brain, which she may never have had for herself. This poor girl needs some peace not harassment. As funny as I might find some of the comments under other circumstances, I feel so bad for her right now, I just find them in bad taste, sorry guys. it’s like picking on a someone with autism, it isn’t funny. It’s just sad.

  54. ~*bonez*~ | 26/09/07

She is beyond pathetic….Just when you think she can’t hit a new low-

I know she has serious issues-we all know. And Maxx05, maybe a bible could help along with intense treatment. AA is founded on spirituality and nothing she’s tried yet has seemed to help.

Anyway, some of her problems would be easily fixed if she would just stay out of the public eye for a while. She’s asking for more cruel comments by doing such stupid things.

Maybe she really is bi-polar… I don’t say that lightly. I have a family member with it and off her meds, she can do things she would never do otherwise…..

  55. lmd | 26/09/07

Meh, she’s a mess, her career is over. Boohoo?

  56. Maxx05 | 26/09/07

Bonez~ I agree with you about AA! I don’t agree with the born again nutjobs that use religion as a weapon, they are dangerous. AA is a different thing entirely.

  57. Kelsey M | 26/09/07

LOL the comments are killing me - so funny. I keep of pic of her with the shaved head and attacking the car in my cubicle at work so when I’m having a bad day I look at that pic and I think, “at least I’m not her”

  58. Shannon | 26/09/07

Whats with all these trolls? Is it one person using a lot of different names, that we have never seen before? Im kind of new to the whole blog commenting thing so Im not sure what all these nasty comments are. Whatever this person/people are one thing is for sure….they are hatefull, pathetic and just plain ugly in the soul.

  59. Frankie | 26/09/07

She has turned to spirituality before(Kaballah) and ditched it.
Good will has to be there first of anything…

  60. Jodi | 26/09/07

Eating disorder, schmeating schmisorder. I’m just happy she’s wearin’ pants for once.

  61. Jodi | 26/09/07

I’m surprised Rian’s letting all of these moronic, completely unamusing (even on the most base of levels) comments get through. Where’s comment “moderation” when it’s truly needed?

As far as Britney goes, she’s way too easy a target and way too pathetic (in the truest sense of the word) to pick on now. She is in serious trouble, and even though I usually don’t give a flying f*ck (self-censored to avoid the moderation that I wouldn’t deserve) about what happens to celebrities, I really do wish she’d get help.

The last thing she has to worry about right now is getting thin. There are indeed more pressing concerns.

  62. ease-E | 26/09/07

i have never really cared about her, but lately i’ve been feeling sorry for britney. she is one celeb i would never want to swap lives with. it seemed like she had everything, and now she is a joke. then come to find out, she was miserable back in the day too. it’s so sad, i hope she gets well.

  63. Magdalena | 26/09/07

There is no way she was ever less than a 4 with those thighs. Even at her thinnest, Britney had big legs.

  64. Jodi | 26/09/07

Gee. A comment I wrote is in purgatory, yet all this inane twaddle somehow made it through. NO idea how that works.

  65. Serendipity | 26/09/07

Ultra-skinny girl, I want to thank you for giving me my first good laugh of the week. ED can also stand for erectile dysfunction, not “errection disorder”. As far as I’m aware, “errection” isn’t even a word, let alone a disorder.

  66. mini-me | 26/09/07

kelsey m…..you are genius! ha ha ha

  67. Jess | 26/09/07

I’m currently in training to be a food psychologist and what you describe she’s doing now is not quite an eating disorder.

What you describe she was doing - binging and then exercising to the extreme back when she was a size zero is called bulimia. Bulimia does not always involve throwing up, in fact it is defined as binging and following with compensatory behaviour (eg, intentionally throwing up, using laxatives, or extreme exercising) two or more times a week for more than three months.

What she experienced earlier this year - extreme levels of exercise and calorie restriction, while unhealthy, is technically not an eating disorder. There is no eating disorder that describes this sort of behaviour (nor the cycles). Rather, it is somebody trying to get a quick weight fix, and people who do this almost never maintain these habits (or they would become anorexic), rather they will often crave fatty, sugary food so badly that they will give in and start binging and put all the weight back on (and then some). They will then usually begin the cycle again. This is called yo-yo dieting - fairly common these days, and very unhealthy.

If she takes the yo-yo dieting to the extreme, she could possibly be diagnosed with “eating disorder not otherwise specified”, which is defined as an eating disorder that meets many but not all of the requirements for anorexia or bulimia, but still requires treatment e.g. binge-eating disorder, which she could have now - wikipedia it if you want to know more.

  68. carmen | 26/09/07

i am mia too.. i know how she feels

  69. infiniti | 26/09/07

Wow, that is just plain creepy. This girl needs help, seriously. I’m praying for her.

  70. Magdalena | 26/09/07

I’d love to go to a store where she could have worn a 0, even in her skinny days.

  71. healthyisbeautiful | 26/09/07

Wouldn’t that be in the EDNOS realm, Jess? Severely restricting then binging, never getting to a particularly dangerously low weight, extreme focus on exercise (at least in the past, anyway.)

I’m not “food therapist”, that looks pretty EDNOS to me. If the descriptions in what Rian posted are right, she meets the criteria for EDNOS. It’s definitely an eating disorder and it definitely can be just as deadly as anorexia or bulimia.

Here’s some of the criteria taken from healthy place:

-All of the criteria for bulimia nervosa are met except that the binge eating and inappropriate compensatory mechanisms occur at a frequency of less than twice a week or for duration of less than 3 months.

-The regular use of inappropriate compensatory behavior by an individual of normal body weight after eating small amounts of food (eg, self-induced vomiting after the consumption of two cookies).

-All of the criteria for anorexia nervosa are met except that, despite significant weight loss the individual’s current weight is in the normal range.

-Binge-eating disorder: recurrent episodes of binge eating in the absence if the regular use of inappropriate compensatory behaviors characteristic of bulimia nervosa.

  72. vane | 26/09/07

i feel bad for her, i mean she’s suffering but… i think the information it’s not so true, well, i really don’t know what to say… everytime i look at the last picture and i see her face and i see her crying … it makes me wanna cry also (i know, kind of weird) maybe i’m too sensitive =s

  73. Sarah | 26/09/07

starving herself is a step in the right direction, i guess.

  74. danielle | 26/09/07

yeah uhmm whoever wants to rap on people because they wanna help others by giving them the ONLY direction there is in this lousy world 9ecspecially when it conains pople like you) go find a fricken heart

  75. Maxx05 | 26/09/07

Sheba, it sounds like you found a really bad meeting!!! AA is not a cult, tho I have been to one group that I will say I didn’t go back to because there were a few insecure fanatical members that started taking like crazy born again church cult members. There are many different groups, and hopefully you’ll find a better one than that awful one you went to. Yes, guys, I’m in AA and NA, I’ve been clean and sober for 10 years.

  76. danielle | 26/09/07

although you’re probably the one who needs the bible and God more than the air you’re breathing right now. which God GAVE you i might add.

  77. Maxx05 | 26/09/07

I don’t believe in the bible or god, thank you very much. But I do believe in getting help when you need it. I do believe that you can have spirituality without religion.

  78. Maxx05 | 26/09/07

No, that isn’t helping, and it was totally wrong of them to do that to you. I’m sorry that happened to you. Not everyone is like that. Get a good female sponsor, stay away from the jacka$$es. Not everyone in AA is like that, there are annoying meetings and there are good ones, you just have to look around to find the ones you like.

  79. Maxx05 | 26/09/07

Hey, I thought you were asking for help, if you’re not, then I don’t need to go on with this. I didn’t know this man, I just know that I have found some meetings very helpful, some others not so much. I go to the ones I like. That’s all.

  80. cossey | 26/09/07

I have a perfect diet for Brit!!!

  81. cossey | 26/09/07

I think it’s time that Brit gets a big dose of Cossey!!!

  82. Rian | 27/09/07

Jodi (and others) sorry for the lack of comment moderation. But see what happens when I relax some of the “rules” of the moderation? All hell breaks loose.

Most of those silly comments were left by the same person, btw.

erika, the word is bulimia, not “mia”. This isn’t a pro-ed board. :)

  83. Rian | 27/09/07

Shannon, I can’t believe you would innocently ask about the trolls leaving comments under different names… when it is YOU doing it! Your IP is the exact same one all the “people” who left a bunch of those silly, childish comments. You (and all the Shars) have been banned.

  84. Balloon | 27/09/07

how do they know about the inhalor and the pills?
god this ifs fucked up, i hope she hasn´t friends like that who tell everything.
still thinking the media just say so because of selling magazines. it always has been like this

  85. Karo | 27/09/07

I do not know her, like everybody else here… but reading this entry suddenly made me a bit sad for her.
I am not one to feel sorry for the celebrities easily, especially people who are clearly setting stories up for more exposure and are just completely up their own arses… like so many celebrities.

But this girl, she is obviously not the strongest and most intelligent person, for someone to get such exposure 24/7, since your teens… and for the last year or so, longer possibly, such horrible horrible press all the time, this has to be absolutely devestating and confusing. I wonder how people would react if suddenly a person like Britney Spears commits suicides successfully… will those sharp tongues tie down and sympathy show again? How typical.

  86. Jodi | 27/09/07

    Psycho much, Shannon/shars/etcetera?

  87. Carmen | 27/09/07

Britney is not fat…. she did have 2 kids..

  88. Miss M | 27/09/07

Most important thing she has to do though is LET people help her.

I do feel for her but on the other side, there are ways not to be in public all the time. Other celebs can do it, so why can’t Britney?

  89. maria | 27/09/07

If people just would leave her alone… and therapy.
    This is sad.

  90. Violet | 27/09/07

Poor kid, and then to have all these people saying it’s a publicity stunt??? Who’d advocate that as a good way to get a few more column inches? She probably has had an eating disorder for a long time and this is the culmination of all those years of trying to hide it and trying to present a perfect image to the world. Everyone with an eating disorder reaches a certain point where you just can’t go on anymore and this can manifest itself in many ways - Britney has lived her life for so long in the public eye and yet was living a lie. This is a classic case of someone who can no longer live that lie and is crying out for help (literally) and yet we all keep bashing her down again.

Rian - great quote, ‘the word is bulimia, not “mia”. This isn’t a pro-ed board. ‘ I hate that mia/ana thing, it just trivialises a very serious illness.

She can’t do it ‘out of the public eye’ because we won;t let her, and besides, she doesn’t know any other way.

  91. healthyisbeautiful | 27/09/07

“erika, the word is bulimia, not “mia”. This isn’t a pro-ed board.”

Yes, Rian! You are officially my favorite blogger of ALL TIME!!!! Thanks for saying that. :)

  92. FW | 27/09/07

wow - some tabloid pics! - i think she’s orally fixated and i DON’T mean that in a sexual way - she drinks too much, eats too much - she is very unable to control her instant gratification impulses for any period of time - the only thing that has a chance of working if she herself decides to go to rehab - not be pushed into it - and if these eating disorder stories are true, she should go to an eating disorder clinic for 2 months and then treat the drugs and alcohol and sexual addiction second

i remember hearing of her doing 1000 crunches a day and thought ‘that’s impossible’ - still don’t believe it

  93. MITZE | 27/09/07

BRIT LOOKS GREAT…. I AM 120 LBS AND 5FEET 4 INCH TALL AND I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE HER FIGURE. SKINNY DOSENT LOOK GREAT ALL THE TIME ON EVERYONE.

  94. over it | 27/09/07

this is actually a pretty common form of disordered eating for those of us who are not able to completely starve ourselves or tolerate the grossness that is puking… it’s binge and starve behavior. It’s a horrible cycle of punishment and reward

  95. healthy girl | 27/09/07

she does have a nice figure….I really don’t know why you all are being so hard on her…
do you all have eating disorders or something? I know how hard it is to maintain a nice or even ‘’normal girl'’ figure…I think she clearly has problems and most likely isn’t maintaining herself the healthy way…we should pray for her! we all want to impress the guys so desperately that we destroy ourselves….that is so wrong!

  96. Pak31 | 27/09/07

GOD will people just leave her alone already?? I can’t stand her either but these paparazzi and media have their heads to far up her ass all the time it’s pathetic. Let her breathe for once.

  97. Swanhilda | 27/09/07

Not to rant and rave like a born -again religious looney tune, but the bible has helped me. Just saying.

  98. healthy girl | 27/09/07

    swalinda-
not to sound like a looney tune either ,but I believe that it will help anyone who truly believes in it!..just saying too…

  99. hot elf | 27/09/07

Oh my god ! stop talking about this huge bitch i am so tired of her, freakin stupid loser

  100. Jessica | 27/09/07

She has bi-polar. She should see a psychiatrist. Poor girl.

  101. ~*bonez*~ | 27/09/07

Maxx05-I completely agree with you about religion being very different from spirituality….After I posted yesterday, I thought I should have gone back to clarify but was in a hurry. I honestly didn’t mean any offense and once more, quite agree with you.

I must have missed a bunch of posts that were deleted but I appreaciate you(maxx05) trying to help….

  102. Harleyq | 28/09/07

First off, britney was NEVER a size 0, she was a 3/4 at her smallest. I dont think she is a naturally “thin” girl, alittle big boned, so her getting like nicole richie just doesnt seem possible. But I think she looked great when she was toned and muscular back then. She needs to just work on her upper body and she would look great!

  103. mika | 28/09/07

i feel so bad for her. she’s under the scrutiny of everyone in the world, and isn’t able to cry in her bed.

i wish she could live a life and take care of her baby and keep her clothes on.

she really was a beautiful girl when she smiled.

  104. ~*bonez*~ | 28/09/07

She could live a life with her children if she wanted-she needs to get out of the spotlight….She needs to stay home and not go out everynight.

Why don’t we see all this commotion with real celebrities like, IDK, maybe Gwenyth Paltrow or Cam Diaz, or Drew B..they know how to handle the paps..In alot of ways, all these young want to be stars are asking for what they get.

  105. cossey | 28/09/07

Brit needs to eat my banana!!!!!!

  106. Loliez Lara | 29/09/07

I have never felt sorry for this girl in my entire life. I was Number One Brit Basher! But after seeing that picture of her crying and reading the article, I can kinda understand her.

She’s publicly humiliated herself countless times (Marrying Kevin; almost dropping her baby; shaving her head; going to rehab; pitiful performance at the VMAs) and I can see why she would turn to such drastic measures and try get her reputation back.

On the other hand, I don’t think she’s a very bright or stable girl and she definately needs some guidence, because if left to do this on her own she’ll mess up (Like she’s messed up all other desisions left up to her)

  107. Natasha | 29/09/07

Everyone needs to give her a break!!
She’s a talented girl, and people needs to lay off.. she looks like she’s in pain!!

  108. momus | 30/09/07

people pick on her WAY too much.

  109. Lazara | 30/09/07

    This is so sad.
I really feel sorry for her.

I, like many ppl, have gone through hard times too.
But at least not in public…

  110. Laura | 3/10/07

I just feel terribly sorry for her!

  111. MelodySoul | 4/10/07

She was never a size 0. At her smallest she was a size 4 (I remember her saying so on some MTV show). She must be closer to an 8 now but I think her body looks good. She just needs to get the rest of herself together.

  112. otakumarz | 7/10/07

Why this big controversy whether she was a size 2 or a size 0? Additionally… to all you people who truly feel sorry for this fallen star, please remember that you pass by dozens if not hundreds of people just like Britney every day.
So why do you choose to be so opinionated about her and ignore everyone else? Just cuz she’s famous? Because she actually has the money and the means to get help?
How many times in her career have her ‘friends been worried’? Everyone wants a piece of Britney’s fame by acting like they have this big secret, like they’re so close to her that only they know and they are just soooo worried about her. You never hear about them doing anythign though.
I’m not sure about the whole ‘religion will help’ stance… While some studies show that having a religion does have health benefits, I think it all depends on who you are. I had an eating disorder until I LEFT my religion, so… to each their own. At this point, I think it would be best to address the biological problems and get her into a state where she could even consider religion as an option.
Eventually, we all have to grow up, even the girls in Hollywood. Now, whether it is your body or your attitude that grows up first …. well, that’s the trouble with Hollywood these days….

  113. singinglilies | 5/11/07

looks like she got that green top from Walmart :D

  114. frank derossi | 27/11/07

britneys diet is typical for the low life, ignorant, piece of trash that she is.her usual purchases are most likely a six pack of beer, marlboro reds and a pack of slim jims

  115. CrazyYouTubeGirl | 10/12/07

    LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!

  116. Fiona | 17/12/07

She should stop drinking her daily caramel frapuccino, or she should go back to Louisiana and eat all the crap she really likes, have 8 children and become an obese.

Can I just point out that binging and over exercising is bulimia - just the non-purging type.
