    I never think of her as a high-fashion model, only the swimsuit/lingerie type. These pictures didn’t change my mind.

    It’s been rumored that she’s gained a bit of weight after quitting smoking, so it’s possible that these are photoshopped. They’re definitely shot at a more flattering angle.

    Unlike some others here, I do think there was some photoshopping done here.
    Come on, however much you may like Gisele… no-one looks like this. Besides, I think every model that appears in a magazine like this is photoshopped. Because these days, even just being ‘beautiful’ isn’t enough anymore. The legs always need to be longer, the waist thinner, the boobs a bit bigger, the face brighter…

    I’m sure the retouched skin and shadows and things like that, but we know this is her size from the countless runway shows and paparazi pics of her.

    I hate how her chin is so up in all the pics though, a little variety would have been better

    I despise the pose in the second photo.
    She’s sooo narrow. I bet they aren’t photoshopped that much, I remember seeing her in a candid photo grocery shopping with Leo once and in the shorts she was wearing, kinda baggy her legs looked like toothpics, I mean completely emaciated. And I’m pretty sure I remember reading her boobs are fake. Anyway, whatever I think she does have an amazing body but I think her face is mannish and not pretty as well.

    OMFG, come on people! Gisele is a hag.
    (1) Why would anyone want to wear those clothes in public? They look uncomfortable and silly.
    (2) Why are her thighs the width of her ankles?? I can admire nice legs, but those are definitely not nice. Too straight and spindly.
    (3) Look at her face! In two of the shots she’s covering it up. Can’t hide the horse-face!

    I think there are an ass load of waaay more talented, gorgeous, less stuck up models out there for all you eating disorder fans to dream of becoming.

    I live in the West Village NYC & see her around a lot. She IS really skinny but not in a disproportional way. She seems very natural. She’s also not that tall. Maybe 5′7″. She come across as a very pretty young woman but nothing super spectacular. I like her better after seeing her in real life.

    her boobs are not natural at all… she’s from my hometown and i knew her before she hit it big… she was absolutely flat! if you look it up, you might be able to find some pictures from her before she had the boob job, there’s a big difference… granted, it was a really well done boob job, but it’s a boob job… she also had work done on her nose, i actually saw her at her parents house when she still had the bandages in, so i’m pretty sure about that…

    Totally photoshopped. She has a townhouse two blocks from me and I see her a lot in the neighborhood. Her legs seem to be heavily photoshopped. Everything else looks like angles. She is GORGEOUS in person, but not stick-like an exaggerated as she is in these pictures.

    She’s thin, but has just enough meat on her to make men drool when she walks by. (Unlike the ematiated models that wander around NYC). She literally stops people dead in their tracks in an old t-shirt and jeans.

    Every editorial picture that appears in fashion magazines is photoshopped, but I don’t think there’s any heavy photoshopping here, I’ve seen countless pictures of her over the years, she looks pretty much the same in most pictures including runway shots and paparazzi shots - tall and super thin, with a body I’d kill for. In the last picture, her shoes and the angle has a lot to do with the unnatural slenderness.
    She does do high fashion, she’s walked the runways for a handful of high-end designers (Chole, Gucci, Christian Dior, etc) and appeared in numerous ad campaigns (Louis Vuitton, CD, Dolce&Gabanna). If that does not make you a high fashion model I don’t know does.
    So, no matter how much you might dislike her, it’s not going to change the fact that she has reached the epitom of her field and that she’s super hot (and most likely hotter than you).

    I love Giselle’s hair, and she has a great modeling body, and has a reputation for being a dream to work with in the industry which is very important. That’s why she keeps getting top jobs. She’s a good model who knows how to make the clothes look good. Her body is excellent for showcasing the clothes. I don’t particularly care for her face, but that’s what make-up artists are for. I do think that there is some photo shopping going on with these pics, and I’m sure they happened way before they were put in the final magazine product.

    She’s got a great body and a pretty face, but I always thought it was funny how the ideal now is just to be as skinny as you can get. It no longer matters what shape you have, as long as you’re a size zero. Gone are the days when we coveted the round, full thighs and butt, teensy-tiny waist, and full, perky breasts. It’s actually a whole lot easier to be “beautiful” these days–you just starve. Back when women like Sophia Loren and Brigitte Bardot were the sex symbols of the day, the standard for beauty was a lot different (and some might say higher). Nowadays, skinny and tan is all it takes.

    This is not the real Gisele Bundchen. She’s not this thin. Good try, though, Vogue. At least they’re more subtle than Glamour with its blatantly photoshopped America Ferrera. Of course, there was more to photoshop out there; here, Gisele’s just got a few kinks straightened out and pared down.

    Now, if only they could do something with her face…

    This DEFINITELY photoshopped. Look at the proportions of the legs and torso to her head and hands. She litterally looks like a barbie doll. It’s most obvious in the very first photo. You can see a sharp distinction between the background and herself. It also seems just slightly blurry around her inner thighs.

    And come on, if her torso is really that long, she’s got a few extra vertebre in there.

    This is upsetting. She’s gorgeous! Why would they feel the need to photoshop her picture?

    you know how eva longoria is almost too skinny? well ive seen before and after photoshopping photos of her beb ads. they cinched her waist and made her bum plumper. ive also seen cameron diaz made less boxy in her torso area. so giselle might have a wonderful, lithe body but i really doubt that they didnt photoshop these. photoshopping is the norm these days wouldnt you say?

    Hey! I heard about all the errmm… “improvements” Gisele underwent and I’ve always been curious if those Brazilian mags were telling the truth. The most bizarre story I read was that Gisele’s father was the one who performed her boob job. This I’m not sure if I believe, because iirc Gisele’s family is a working class one and her father was likely not a surgeon.

    Anyway, about these pictures… of course they’re toyed with. It’s just standard procedures these days. I find that her expressions remained the same in all these photos and I’m not impressed with the poses either.

     people are always yapping about her face. Her face is what I love the most. It’s not that boring barbie crap we’ve been brainwash with. It’s interesting. I think she’s stunning. the high peak cheekbones & strong jaws are in total contrast to her soft petal lips. The only flaw i see is the nose. I’ll take the nose if i can have everything else. When it comes to modeling the girl has no equal. She’s in a league of her own.

     Clearly Not photoshoped, not her body anyway…and if i may let u know that Gisele is a real covergirl, she was and is in countless HIGH-fashion magazines and is extremely professional in front of the camras.
