Is Kate Moss Not Scary Skinny Anymore?

Well, new photos from just this week (Tuesday) have surfaced of Kate, out and about in London. And she doesn’t really look too bad anymore…
Is it my imagination, or is Kate Moss not scary skinny anymore, but just… skinny?
She’s WELL past her prime. Her legs look a little bigger than usual, I guess. But still quite slim.
Pale jeans make anyone look bigger.
I never thought those photos from mid September were an accurate portrait of what she really looks like anyway.
Think she still looks her normal skinny self. Quite a feat considering the light colored jeans and the ankle boots!
Um, Kate Moss hasn’t been scary skinny since like 1996! Look up some pics of what she used to look like when she did all those Calvin Kline ads as a teenager, she was way smaller back then
Also ever since she gave birth she’s had wider hips and larger breasts, just all around more womanly.
she looks to be a healthy weight here…now in regards to anything other than weight she’s probably not that healthy though

She looks about the same to me here…her face looks a bit less haggard which could mean a 5lb gain.? Anyway, looks the same to me. Rock & roll, decadence, beauty, danger, mystery, excitement, doom=Kate.

I think she looks pretty normal, weight-wise, but I’m guessing it’s probably due to her outfit choice. Who wouldn’t look heavier in pale skin tight jeans?

Yup. That is a tough color to pull of in that fabric and cut and would call that optical weight gain.
She’s still very very thin. I know there’s a lot of drug use in her life, but she’s pretty much been this weight from the moment she hit the scene in the early 90’s. Models who have to starve to be thin enough seem to at some point go up a lot in weight.
And Amma, I love her look too. Almost 20 years as a highly paid working model is quite an achievment.

I always say that if there’s a gap between your thighs, then you’re skinny. And I have a feeling that if her jacket wern’t covering most of her top half, she’d look super-skinny.

No other model has her range and versatility. Many models (including Gisele) has only one look, not Kate. Like someone said, she’s a chameleon (and a good one at that). That’s why she’s been successful for so long.

Her face / hair / skin look much healthier in these pictures. I can’t tell for sure if she’s gained; she looks pretty much the same size as she always has.

amma, i agree with you…i know this is a long post but bear with me…
kate is simply divine…part of her appeal is the fact that she does whatever she feels like doing and doesn’t listen to the tabloids or people who care what she looks like in a pair of skinny grey denim…yes, she’s a model, but in my opinion she’s more of an anti-model. kind of going against all of what society expects supermodels to be like…gorgeous 24/7, role models, fake…a plastic commodity to be bought. kate is true to herself despite what the tabloids say and that’s good enough for me to respect her…plus, how many of you can honestly say you haven’t done something you’re ashamed of?
maybe it was just the clothes she wore that made her look thinner in the last post.

Now I think she’s lost weight again but the weight loss looks different b/c of the changes of giving birth. Doesn’t make sense but I don’t know how else to say it….

Never really saw what the appeal was with her. There are better looking people in your local high street. She is skanky and to me she always looks like she needs a good wash. She’s also not a good role model for young girls with her drug habits, smoking etc IMHO.
she might not be a real beauty with a perfect face, but she’s got something special and although she’s got that blond hair, she manages to look different from all the other blondies, that’s why I like her.

I love how many people refuse to say anything positive about Moss because she abuses drugs…umm, if i refused to associate with druggies I would lose some of my favorite people! Just cause I don’t do drugs doesn’t mean I think I’m perfect. We all have flaws. But I just don’t see the point in doing drugs. You can have fun without that crap. I’ve been around enough people who did drugs to know that it can cause people to do some really dumb sh*t that they’ll regret. If you are out of your mind think of all the harm you could do to yourself or others. And Kate has a child to take care of.
I have a family member who died because he was just hanging out having a good time..on acid..he didn’t do it regularly or anything but he just did it a few times with friends..and an accident happened and he died (Im not going to go into detail).
That’s the worst case scenario but I have never seen any good come out of using drugs. Seriously, whats the point? Are you that boring that you need drugs to have fun?

She looks great when she is done up and photgraphs amazingly well. She looks scrawny otherwise and I don’t like her voice. But then, that’s just my opinion.
Regarding the drugs … yes, I would lose a lot of friends too if I’d hung out only with drugfree people … but then none of those people have kids and I think it is highly irresponsible to look after a child and do drugs. Sorry, I just wouldn’t do it. You reach a point in your life where you just grow up and for most women it is when they have to take responsibility for someone else.
tara @ As for her being addicted to drugs … I know lots of people who are addicted to drugs and nobody would ever think they were so that’s not a valid argument for me. You can perfectly hide an addiction, believe me, I’ve worked with drug users and I know what I am talking about.
