A very skinny Courtney Love was photographed at the Chanel fashion show in Paris yesterday.
Wow, she has really whittled herself down to… almost nothing.
What do you all think? Is she too thin, or does her new near-skeleton status suit her? (I’d have to say she is too thin).

I was so with her early on when she said she lost her weight doing yoga, eating healthy and excercising.
Now I’m beginning to suspect an eating disorder or drugs.

Wow, Chop Chop — If this is your idea of perfection, might I suggest some sort of eating disorder counseling? This woman looks deathly ill - How illness and physical frailty embodies “perfection” is surely a question only a person with an ED can answer.

I’m all for thin, but if she’s starving herself to look like this, then there’s no point. She looks unhappy and lifeless, the expressions in the photos really say it all. They scream, “HELP ME!” If you can’t enjoy yourself in life, why bother? Poor woman needs to learn some balance and peace.

I think she looks unhappy… She semed happy about her weightloss but sometimes when you hit that goal it can pull you deeper into it… It is hard to get out of it after that first goal is reached.

cc, you are right. Not only is her low weight alarming, but she has had a lot of plastic surgery. I’m thinking multiple nose jobs and some face/brow lifts. Definitely collagen injected into parts of her face, too. It’s scary.

Her face looks a lot better than it used too, but she is way too thin. I read somewhere that she had the gastric bypass surgery to lose, but I’m not sure if that’s true or not. I do love her handbag.

I think she looks damn good, maybe getting to skinny actully already at the line she needs to back away fast. come back to the normal side, I think what ever doctor she went to should do my face lift in 30 years, he is almost as good as cher’s. Well, it’s hard to tell if she has reached skeletal proportions, in that suit but I’m guessing she probably has become a bobblehead. I was never crazy about her or her music but hate to see someone go so far off the edge.

Nobody cares, she will never make a come-back and she was never really talented anyways. Celebrity Skin was the only good Hole album and everybody knows Billy Corgan pretty much wrote and produced the whole thing

Courtney rocks!!! Someone once said when a woman gets to a certain age, it’s a competition between face/body. Like, if you get to your ideal body weight, you face looks too thin. But if your face is good, you’re plump bodywise. It seems in this day and age, that is a trade-off we no longer have to make {injectible fillers!}.
I think Miss Love looks GREAT, glad she lost the pudge. She looks rock and roll, which is what she is. Love the hair, the outfit, the make-up, the music…that being said, I would LOVE to see her soften up, lose the peroxide and dark eye make-up. She could take 10 yrs off and become quite fresh faced if she’d give up some of her old ideas about beauty/make-up. Less is more over 40 {it sucks, I know, but adhering to that truth is WORTH IT}.

I liked her better when she was healthy and had a rounder body. She at least had some personality back then. Now, she’s just like all the other little nobody starlets who can’t get outside the stupid notion that they have to conform to this ugly, bland, shell of a human being sort of aesthetic. Most of these disgustingly shapeless “stars” are really average-looking, and there are now so many of them that we forget what a beautiful women looks like, and all we look for now is a size 2 to classify a woman as beautiful. Gag. She looks like a fake Madonna, and even Madonna is a fake human being, so Courtney Love has become a shell of a shell. How boring.

She admitted to a TON of plastic surgery…I have no idea what happened to her b/c you don’t just get a ton of will power & stop eating overnight & she did tons of coke over the years & was huge anyway…I have no idea what to say abt C. Love. She is weird & is now weirder in my book b/c she is trying harder than ever to be pretty & relevant after saying how she was so punk for so long & now is so “classy”. It’s just a little hard to digest.

Courtney goes through EXTREME weight shifts - I remember her in the movie with Woody Harrelson, People vs. Larry Flynt many years ago when she was . heroin skinny. Getting to that point now. i think she’s clean now so hopefully her thinness is through healthy stuff

She used to be a heroin addict and when one starves themselves, the brain lets out endorphins. Anorexics actually become addicted to their own self-made opiates… bulimics do too (they are released after puking). So it’s not too far from the realm of pssibility that Coutney has switched a drug addiction to a starvation addiction.
Poor woman. I wish she could find some peace internally. Hell, I wish I could too.

Answer - nobody. If you can see bones protruding and she looks like an abnormal alien, then bless her, you know she’s not eating like a healthy person and she probably has issues.
