Is Jennifer Connelly Getting Too Thin?

She doesn’t look emaciated or anything, but she has lost a bit of weight over the past few months.
I hope she’s not on the Hollywood It Girl Skeleton diet!
I think she’s just at her right weight, which I hope is her target and that she keeps it this way. Her complexion looks really good and she seems toned.

This isn’t even a hairstyle. It’s a “hair-do” — the kind created by sitting for hours underneath an enormous old hairdryer circa 1951.
Actually, it’s more of a hair-don’t. Bleh.

Hopefully her hair is pulled back into a ponytail and you just can’t tell from this picture, she’s had lovely thick long hair in the past. Jennifer’s weight has varied over the years since she was younger. When she started out acting she was not slender by any means. She took off the weight over the years, and then was quite thin, thinner than this for some time. I hadn’t been aware that she’d gotten any weightier than she is now. I think she looks good at her current weight, or a few pounds less. She’s now a very talented actress. She’s worked hard for her career.
I have no idea who this is, but she doesn’t look to thin. She is slender, but not super skinny.
I think she looks great right know. Her body seems to be in very good shape. Her face looks very elegant and her hairstyling fits to her look. Very pretty!
Her thinnest was during the awards reception for A Beautiful Mind, in that awful beige dress of hers. After that event, she’s looked much healthier, and I really doubt any thinness on her part has been the result of disordered eating or a disordered mindset desiring thinness. I think she looks quite lovely here, and her arms aren’t too thin at all; they actually look quite good. She naturally has more slender legs, I believe, but if you see pictures of her in jeans, she’s really none too thin at all.
Sometimes Skinny Girl, I’m inclined to believe you spot skinniness where there isn’t, and tone-ness where there isn’t.
I don’t think she looks skinnier than usual, but I hope she doesn’t lose any more weight. That is one ugly dress though…and what’s up with that hair? LOL, she DOES kinda look like a dude.
She needs to gain those 25 pounds back. Circa The Rocketeer, she was buxom, and curvy and very feminine. When Hollywood stopped calling she lost weight in hopes of shedding her enormous sex appeal. She is still undeniably hot, but not as much as she was.
I don’t see what the big deal is, she looks fine to me…like everyone is saying, the hairstyle is not that flattering, but her body is very nice.
I think her body looks beautiful. She has great bone structure. I’m not feeling the hair, though.

I think she is beautiful and that there is nothing wrong with her at all! She has always been really beautiful albeit somewhat larger back in the labrynth days, but that was what the 80’s? She works hard to look good, she has good morals (if you have ever read or seen an interview) I dont see anything “scary” about her.
Jackie is right. She was god-awful skinny and sickly-looking at th Oscars. That beige dress did nothing to downplay her sallow skin or the bones knifing up out of her shoulders.
She looked better a few months ago. Saw her in a Balenciaga ss 08 dress, she’s too thin.

This dress is very unflattering. Also - she always looks so serious. Very dramatic in a concentrated sort of way. Like in THAT scene in “Requiem for a dream”, remember? She kind of lost her sex appeal although she is obviously still very pretty. Her facial expression makes her look old…And she is getting old too…
She’s not too thin now, but I liked her better in her Inventing the Abbots days when she played the “bad” sister. I’m sure a lot of people would say she was too big back then, but I thought she looked gorgeous with that body type. Now she looks good, but she doesn’t stand out anymore. She’s just another thin actress. She does look better than she did at the Oscars that time. I was so disappointed when I saw that. I think she might actually get more work if she were to put on a little more weight. She looks too plain when she’s thin.
I’m the same age as her. Those thick eyebrows were what everyone had or wanted back in the 80s. If you didn’t have natural eyebrows, you were totally out of style. Personally, I hate the thin eyebrows so many women have now. Everyone has them. They are boring.
She is a gorgeous woman. When she was younger, she did have some more weight on her, and the thicker 80’s brows….that was the style then. That’s why she was one of the top teen models of the 80’s probably second only to Brooke Shields, who is older than her. Everyone wanted to look like them. Her skinniest was back at that Oscar ceremony…she was definitely in a bad place then….her boyfriend (Josh Charles of Dead Poets Society) dumped her the day before the Oscars. The dreaded Oscar curse! He couldn’t handle her increased fame and those rumors about her and Russell Crowe. She thought she was gonna marry him, and was super depressed at the Oscars…according to Ted Casablanca anyway. But, she started dating Paul Bettany soon after and then, 8 months later they were married. So guess everything happens for a reason! I personally think she would look better with a tad more weight on her…but she still looks fab!

She used to have an enormous rack or so I have heard. She is strikingly different form the majority of current starlets in the looks department but not necessarily better: her body and her face are just too masculine now. She gives lovely She-man Jessica Biel a run for her money

Her weight never fluctuates. She’s always had amazingly toned legs. She always has that “I’m naturally perfectly thin” looking body. You’ll find a picture next week and say, “oh she’s back to normal” or “oh she gained it back”. Her body never changes.

she has been too skinny for a few years now - in a Beautiful Mind and Hulk she was wicked thin - i couldn’t enjoy watching Eric Bana - i wish she’d lose some of her eyebrows instead of body weight - i think she has issues - she doesn’t look naturally thin - if you see her older work she was normal looking

That has to be the most ugly hairfritz I’ve seen in years (tops with Renee Zellweger’s newest).
I hate it when these older actresses (over 30) start losing alot of weight, and going for the anorexic look. It’s going to age them faster, and makes them look alot older in the meantime, too. Man, curves are so much more attractive, especially on Jennifer. She looks like a man here.

She looks okay. Her arms look fine which is usually the place to look. She looses evenly, so she doesn’t ridiculous.

not true. she was obviously a little heavier in the movie Dark City compared to the movie Dark Water.
