Category: Blake LivelyI’ve had a few requests for another Gossip Girl post… so here is Blake Lively, who plays the lovely Serena van der Woodsen on the show. (By the way, is anyone else keeping up with this series?)
Here is Blake just yesterday (Wednesday) leaving a talk show. I mentioned in my last post about the Gossip Girls that they were all looking awfully thin. But Blake looks fine now, weight-wise. (The outfit is another story). In fact, she looks to have possibly put on like 5 pounds since the season premiere. You can see her photo from then here.
All in all, she looks like a gorgeous, healthy girl!

This is morbid obesity if I’ve ever seen it. She has put on 30 pounds of pure blubber since the show started. Didn’t you hear? Her manager fired her fatass and she is looking for new representation. Word on the street is that she is going to the plus-sized agency.
I saw Blake on Live With Regis & Kelly yesterday (Wed., Oct 24th) …she looked really quite thin (not scary skinny but very thin.) I think that the outfit she had on….a dress with somewhat of a (high) empire waist…but just under her boobs, the dress is all pleats…tiny pleats at that and pleats DO ABSOLUTELY no good! They (pleats) always ADD the illusion of extra weight !!! She looks thin to me!

All those Gossip, Laguna, Hills people look the same to me. I like her outfit…a bit strange, yeah, but I like.

it looks like someone dressed her to look like a 40yr old woman, not flaterring for her age, even if she has put on a little wieght she still has a great body
5 pounds? Seriously? That’s like 2,5 kg. I can gain that much in ONE day. You can not tell when someone has gained 5 pounds, that’s ridiculous. And besides, she looks exactly the same to me.
Yet again I question how you think, Skinny Girl. I still love the site, otherwise I wouldn’t be here, but sometimes your weight gaining/losing guesses are straight ridiculous. 10 pounds I can understand, and if you can really spot a difference. But 5 pounds, when the girl looks exactly the same??

i LOVE gossip girl- in fact I was at a group project last night and made my boyfriend watch it to tell me what happened! .. since i’m in college it seems silly but i read the books in high school and its just fun to watch.. i’ve been obsessed with blake since the traveling pants- she is beautiful, has a great body, and is talented!

I don’t think Blake gained, she’s just wearing a very unflattering dress. I mean, the bottom is pleated and white to boot!
I don’t care much for the show — or books — because there’s so little substance to them. However, I must admit that in moderation it’s a small guilty pleasure. I also agree that GG is getting better. At least I notice more polish after every little break I take between episodes.
I am 28 years old and I freakin’ love this show and every character in it.

yes, she looks not so skinny - she looks good here (but still too thin compared to the average woman) - i really like that she is dressed nice - not all skin baring like women seem to do these days - she’s really classic looking but with a little modern Portia de Rossi thrown in
I think that she is the example that young girls should look at and anyone who says that she needs to lose weight..well they’re the reason why celebs feel like they have to be super thin. Jealousy is an evil thing, walewatcher, suck it up, she looks perfect !! xoxo

I don’t watch the show, it’s opposite Bionic Woman, which is my regular 9:00 Wed. nite show. Tho I must say the guys I see advertised on Gossip Girl are cuter, I’d rather see Jamie Somers kicking the evil world’s ass than girls being bitchy to eachother - lol. This girl is at a nice normal thin weight as far as I can tell. The outfit may make her look like she gained weight, I can’t tell if she has. That dress needs to be shredded ASAP!

I agree with John….she looks wayyyyyy too old, and i have a hard time believing she’s in high school. Her and her mom on the show look like they can be sisters! And from reading the books i was expecting someone a lot more gorgeous and stunning….i mean she’s pretty but she doesnt really make me go WOW

Blake looks much prettier on the tv show than in these pictures, however. Which is kind of wierd.
I prefer Blair, or Leeighton Meester, or whatever her name is.
And John, I’m pretty sure she is twenty in real life. But she does look older than seventeen. Even the actual forteen year old on the show looks older than her age.
But all three of the girls are really pretty.

She is a beautiful girl! I think she has a great body and plays Serena well. I think the girl who plays Blair does an excellent job as well (though her character isn’t half as likeable- but that’s how it’s supposed to be). Anyways, they’re both babes.

She looks very old, and I don’t just mean how she’s dressed but her face. Her body looks amazing to me but she just doesnt look like she should be playing a 17 or an 18 year old or however old the Gossip Girl character is.
