There aren’t too many better ways to get into shape than riding a bicycle and going to yoga!

I think she looks freaking adorable with short hair! Fun and wild.. like Drew Barrymore in the 90s. She looks like she has a fit body and it’s obvious she likes taking care of it. I’ll take yoga + bike + short hair over coke + cigarettes + extentions ANY DAY!
i would never recognize her because that hair is so horrible - she looks fit, toned - she’s not super skinny like a lot of other actresses so that’s pretty

I think her hair is adorable! My boyfriend, however, disagrees. I hate it that girls with short hair constantly have to fight the lesbian label. I used to buzz mine with clippers in undergrad. I have one of those faces that could carry it, and I’d recently lost a good bit of weight (fat girl+short hair=disaster). All the girls loved it, but it made dating somewhat difficult. It sucks because now my hair is very long, and I LOATHE the continual washing-shampooing-combing-drying-styling. Especially the drying, and the going to bed with wet hair because I’m too tired to deal with it.
sorry, that was really off subject, but I’m one day into block exams and apparently needed to vent.

I am of the opinion that guys feel the way they do about girls with short hair because they are insecure in their masculinity. Girls with long hair are more obviously feminine, and thus confirm their manhood. Maybe this would not be such an issue for me if I were more, er… gifted in the boob department!
I don’t like it that things are this way, but I can’t really complain too much because I don’t like long hair on guys. Not because it makes them look gay, I just, I don’t know, don’t like long hair period I guess. It wouldn’t make me feel like I was dating a girl though! However, dating a guy who wore makeup or shaved his legs would creep me out, so I’m as guilty as they are.
Again, sorry guys, but day 2 of block exams= more venting, and distraction from studying intestinal parasites. Eat ceviche with great caution, cook your pork well, and always wear shoes outside! And Mena’s thighs aren’t “huge”, they’re muscular.

so what her hair’s short. i must tell you . .it’s really liberating to cut your hair short when you’re a girl. if you get a good short haircut, 5 minutes is all you’ll need every day! why do you think men keep their hair short?
It seems that women are held back in society by their high- heeled shoes, long hair that must constantly be maintained, and all of the make up and fashion that which cinches, plucks, and constrains us. imagine how much time we must devote to our looks each and every day just to maintain society’s expectations of what a woman should look like. it’s sad- we haven’t changed that much over time.

Alanna, I keep my hair long and wear high heels because *I* like it. Sure, my boyfriend loves it, too, but even if he didn’t — and said, “Jodi, please cut your hair and, here, wear these little Keds!”, I wouldn’t comply.
