Well, it’s all a matter of perspective. To me, she’s a leathered bag o’ bones. And there’s just something I don’t like about her face either, she seems cross-eyed and her nose is like a long beak.

She is gorgeous…but just to set the record straight, she is 5′10 and 112 pounds which equals out to a BMI of 16.1 …which is severely underweight. In fact those under 17.5 are considered to be at risk for health problems related to anorexia. (It should be noted that young teenagers can have lower BMIs without necessarily being anorexic.)
All i am getting at is that while she is beautiful and may not seem to be unhealthy, she should not be considered an ideal healthy model. That kind of nonsense is just proof of how brainwashed we all are by the media’s standards.

all the people i know who are naturally this slim while being tall all want to be curvier. they feel like freaks. Which theyre not at all, just a different body type.
funny old world, isnt it?! people have been tought never to be happy with what they have. Fat people want to be thin, thin people want to be curvy, short people want to be tall, tall people want to be short.
you can be short and fat, tall and thin and still be stunningly beautiful. its just one of those figure types is a helluva lot more alienated from our society than the other.

Oh, and PS…about not knowing any “normal” girls who are 5′11″ — I consider myself normal, and that’s how tall I am. But I weigh more like 135 lbs…and that’s boarder line underweight. I must be pretty abnormal at 6.0′ and 125 lbs. Strangely though, I do from time to time feel like a human being. Alessandra looks beautiful. Unfortunately I cannot learn not to be bothered by the: “too skinny, not healthy, not a real woman”… comments. I’ve had enough problem in my lifetime finding clothes and shoes that fit me, without having the extra pleasure of people calling me sick, anorexic or whatever. You “normal” girls at 5′4″ and 120 lbs (or insert the typical measurement of your choice) could stop for a second and wonder what it would be like to go shopping for something nice to wear and almost NEVER finding anything. “Oh, you need size 11 narrow shoe?” “Oh, the sleeves are too short, the clothes are too wide and fold in wrong places?”
I don’t understand why people see tall, slim girls as aliens and it makes me really mad. Ale is not even that tall and she definitely has a small frame, like me (only I’m not a model, heh).

Thanks Jodi, that is exactly what I’m working on. Trying to improve that what I was given by eating healthy, exercising, dressing up nicely. But I am 26 now and I have to say it really took some growing up. Now I want to sparkle despite of every stupid or mean thing people can say.

At 5′10″ and 112 lbs, she is definitely underweight. I think she looks almost too thin. Tyra Banks used to be a VS model and she’s 5′10″ and weighed 125 in her modeling days. I think she had a much better look…she actually had boobs.

I truly think that finding clothes for any body type can be a struggle. Growing up I was the tallest girl in my class, developed quickly and fairly slim.
Finding something that fit properly in the chest and everywhere else was so difficult. At that time, they didn’t really make pants in “long” so I was constantly asked if a flood was coming.
Girls sometimes didn’t want to be my friend or would start rumors that I said something about a girl with a smaller chest.
All I am saying is that even though she is making a bundle with her body, doesn’t mean she is completely happy with it.
