Kate Walsh in a Bikini

I don’t know if it is my imagination, but her midsection area looks a bit bigger than it did the last time we saw her… Otherwise, she looks pretty good!

Hey body shape is kind of weird … skinny limbs, no boobs, bigger midsection. It’s strange looking.

I have her body type and I hate it. It’s true - weight gain happens only in the stomach and thighs. So disproportionate. I don’t know if any amount of weight training or cardio can give me a leaner figure.

I have that body type, the advantage is that if I pork up a bit, I can wear baggy tops and still have slim arms and legs… even once when I got to 154lbs I still had slim calves and arms, though my belly was NOT a pretty sight!

She’s just got more of an apple shaped body…she gains weight in her belly and not so much in her limbs. And to be fair, her tummy doesn’t look exactly “fat”, but more just bloated or something. Like she ate too much or is constipated.

She probably just ate something and was a bit bloated.
She’s got that no waist thing that screams “Pregnant.” She’s perfectly thin, it’s just that her waist has disappeared.
I’m betting $50 on a pregnancy that will be written into the Private Practice plot line.
I have her body type too and it`s really hard if not impossible to get a lean tummy and when I shrink, then my boobs are the first thing to go.
But having slim legs all the time is kind of cool and I think that in overall Kate Walsh looks quite beautiful.
Here skin is fricking flawless! She’s got the smoothest and most even skin I’ve ever seen!!!

they have done studies on this—a lot of teenage women only smoke when they drink—and by the time they are in their 20s—they realize it does not work that way, so they try to stop. Every time they stop–they usually gain weight—and it heads straight for the mid-section. Smoking sets the stage for added belly fat.
I look better than her! Yes! Okay, for the record I will say that I am over 35–so in her *general* age range, and I just had a baby about a year ago. And I look way freaking better than she does {how often does that happen to me on this site!}. I don’t think she looks at all bad, I don’t think the suit flatters her at all. But really, very average body and A BIT of working out wouldn’t hurt at all.

Her body is great - except for the stomach - BUT that is probably genetics.
She’s not stick skinny which doesn’t look good on anybody! She looks great! I like her legs…and I agree that her skin is flawless!
She may not have the “ideal” body type, but she still looks gorgeous. There is always a trade-off with body types. Apple-shaped people don’t have nice mid-sections, but usually great legs. Pear-shaped people have nice waists but chunky hips and legs. The hour-glass figure, although ideal, is considered too curvy (and even “fat”) by some. And those tall, lean model-types are considered too skinny. YOU CAN NEVER WIN!!! Everyone has their own notion of the ideal body and we usually don’t like the body type we have.

Her stomach looks really untoned! I don’t remember it looking like this in the past. She needs a bikini bottom with a longer rise to compensate for her figure. I think it’s making her look more out-of-proportion than she really is.

Her waist is small and her stomach is flat; she’s just caught off-guard and obviously isn’t “holding it in.” It makes a difference - just have someone photograph you in a tiny bikini when you’re expecting it, then again when you’re not.
It looks like to me, she has been eating drinking and being merry on her vaca. Thats it.

Kate looks fantastic. She looks happy and healthy - at any age. Beyond looks, she seems like a genuine person in interviews. She is currently one of my favorite celebrities. Inspirational.

She has a great ‘athletic’ figure. Given her age I’d say she’s absolutely gorgeous. In her favour she has: toned arms, pert boobs, great shoulders, a flat stomach, great legs, great bum. Against her; she has no waist-line. Far better than a lot of people out there!

Back to Kate. I actually think she’s quite toned, but working with a difficult body shape. Changing the natural shape of your body is much harder than losing weight. She does have fabulous legs and great arms.
