Is Tyra Banks Losing Weight Again?

She appeared at the “CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC” event late last week looking as though she may have lost a few pounds.
I mean, granted, her lower body is mostly covered in the dress, but her arms and overall figure look a little smaller.
What do you all think?
I hope not, then we’ll have to hear stories of how she overcame being almost overweight.
Idk, she might have lost a few pounds. But no matter what weight she is in, she always looks great!

I think she actually looks pretty great here, which is remarkable, considering I normally think she looks like a man who likes make up. A lot.

OMG this dress is doing miracles on her… ok she probably lost some weight, but compared to the last pics we saw on this website she looks to have dropped 30pounds and thats not very realistic, so I guess the dress is hiding quite some weight which is totally ok because she looks so pretty in these pictures!

i don’t think she is losing wieght, she just isnt showcasing her thighs by wrapping them in tight fitting jeans so we can admire just how big they are nor is she in drag

Tyra looks beautiful. She seems to be at a healthy weight . Anyways I think she has a nice hourglass shape and when you have a good shape you don’t have to be skinny to look great.
I lothe this attention monger with every fibre of my being.
She could be 600lbs or 90lbs and I still wouldn’t offer her a sip of water if she’d been stranded in the Sahara for a week.

on tyra’s show– she had a guest: mandy moore. she asked mandy what sizes she goes between and she responded with 6-8. first of all, i dont necessarily believe that. i’ve seen mandy in person and she was much hippier than that. i go between a 4-6 and she couldnt have been just near my own size.
tyra of course followed with… well i go between an 8-10… and i dont necessarily see that either. do you think they just gave that lower number in the range to make themselves seem smaller than they actually are?? because i can see mandy being an 8 and i can see tyra being a 10, but not a 6 and an 8….
When Tyra’s made up well w/ the right wig, she looks great.
She looks to have lost about 5 pounds or so.
Though she tries to hise it, her upper arms will always be a little pudgy b/c she has short arms compared to the rest of her body. (Hence the constant hand on hip pose)
people do look bigger on tv and magasines than they do in real life, thats why high end models look skeletal in real life but great in a magasine

no weight loss…she’s just dressing better for her figure. draping yourself in black has a slimming effect. granted, she still looks great from the neck up.
I think she looks fantastic in these pics! Definitely lost weight. I’m glad to see her looking trimmer. This looks like a good weight for her.

I do not watch her talk show, because I find her incredibly annoying. I DO, however, watch America’s Next Top Model. I have to. I feel bad about it, but I do it anyway.

So what, everyone in Hollyweird wears spanx, wigs and etc. I think she has lost a few pounds, but hard to tell being her bottom is covered. I think she knows what styles work best for her body type and that’s what keeps her looking great! Go Tyra and forget the Hateration!
The gown is covering alot, but her generous thighs are still quite noticable, especially in the second photo.
I don’t have a problem with her figure; it is what it is: very womanly and sexy.
She looks beautiful here but she is soooo annoying. Her show is all about her- she just likes to hear herself talk. Her hair looks much better without those nasty bangs she always wears on her show.
I used to be a big fan of Tyra but now I can’t stand her.
Anyway yeah she might of lost some weight, good for her I guess.
She’s still bigger than most working models, but i don’t think she’s big enough to carry off the whole “beautiful at any size” of whatever schtick she was promoting, because she does look like she’s lost weight and unlike say your nan who loses weight when she has flu and then puts it back on, she’s all dressed up to show it.

The harsh criticism that women’s bodies receive is disheartening. We pick apart our bodies like we are worthless if they are not perfect. There is a difference among giving an honest opinion and even constructive criticism and totally destroying someone’s self-worth by attaching it soley to the basis of their appearance. We are more than our bodies.
I used to like Tyra in her “so what” days on the Tyra show, but since I have changed my mind and consider her a huge hypocrite. It is obvious that she yoyo’s with her weight. If she were really that satisfied and didn’t give a crap what others thought about her body then she wouldn’t go up and down so much. She does look to have lost weight, and that’s all fine and well for your health, but she was not overweight to begin with, therefore it must be a vanity thing. On ANTM she’ll choose a couple of “plus size” models, and regardless of their gorgeous photographs or their beautiful full figures, they never win or even come close to winning. She just throws them in there to satisfy others. Look at the last chick that won. Walking skeleton or what? She claims to be so against the whole super skinny thing, yet she endorses it when she has a say in who wins ANTM, and even loses weight to look good on tv and magazines. She expects people to look up to her, but I say look up to people like Kate Winslet, Scarlett Johansson, and Catherine Zeta Jones. The ones that haven’t starved themselves and gave into the super skinny “trend”. Regardless, Tyra does look good, although she’s obviously a hypocrite at its finest.
Don’t normally like the woman - just something about her that makes you want to punch the TV…BUT, she looks fantastic here. Wahwahwoo!

i am usually a uk8 in summer because i like exercising when its hot, there is also alot more fruit and veg available, i also i usually dont like eating stodgy food when its hot
while in winter i can be a uk12 (after christmass period), i like to indulge myself and i know it will come off by januaury,, inbetween all that i am a uk10
so why cant tyra fluctuate too, why do people expect so much from famous people, they are humans, at least she isn’t pathetic like nicole richie or paris hilton and has a job that involves a little more than being fabulous (in their opinion anyway)

I think she looks pretty good here, but her chirpy-cheery-hypocritical TV persona has really started to get on my nerves. and ANTM has just turned into a joke. how many seasons has it been now? arguably some of the past contestants are doing OK, but nobody, most notably any of the winners, has ever proceeded to have a great career in modelling, so obviously there’s something lacking in the “expertise” department.

I think Tyra is beautiful whether she is heavier or thinner. I prefer her thinner though. Some recent pics of her have shown her to be *really* out of shape. She looks GREAT here. The dress covers a multitude of sins but even so, that is what good fashion is for–accentuate the positive!

If you look at that picture “Tyra Banks weighs 170 pounds” about a year ago—even for a tall model—she had not become curvy—she had let herself get fat.
Now she looks great—-I hear that a lot—-”I enjoy being curvy” then they lose some weight, and you do not hear them bragging about their curves. Not model thin—a really healthy looking woman.
I’m not a fan of her personality…like some have said, she seems fake. However, I think she’s stunning and looks great whether she’s thin or with some weight on.

Yeah, I think she for sure looks to have lost a bit of weight. You can see it in her arms, chest, and face.
I saw her a few months ago walking in New York and she is a goddess!!! tall, slim and muscular, not fall at all and if you ask me she is more to the thin side than to the fat.

Oh Ana, nothing you can say or do will make me feel bad about myself. Skinny people are no more beautiful than heavier people. It’s not always about the outside.
Oh and FYI, i’m not fat, never have been, and if I were, I would flaunt the womanly body I would have. Not to mention the fact that calling people fat can cause serious damage to someone if they already have body issues. You may want to re-evaluate YOURSELF. Thankfully, I don’t.

Being the world’s most accomplished African-American model, I think she has such a stunning body and shining smile. Recently I found one of her movies– Life-Size at dealstudio.com. It seems that she did a good job in this Disney made-for-television movie. And she looks so nice just like now. As a big fan of her, I hope that she would keep a healthy weight and give us more fantastic movies. Love her!
