Sarah Michelle Gellar Is Skinny

What do you all think - is she too thin?

Her body doesn’t seem exceptionally skinny to me; however i find there’s something off with her face , like she’s aged a lot in a short period of time. In the first picture she reminds a bit of Rachel Zoe, that stylist?
I definitely liked the way she looked in her ‘Buffy’ days better, much softer and prettier.
She’s not too thin IMHO, she has a naturally thin frame, and there’s no ribs visible here. I believe she is at the lower half of a healthy weight for her body type, but a few more pounds off, she will be scary skinny..
She looks thin AND healthy. Her back is really muscular, which strays her away from skeletal. And as hideous as that dress is, she wears it really well. I love her hair!

In the first picture she’s making a strange face. I think that might be part of why her face and neck look too skinny. Her body looks okay, if a bit frail.
That dress should only be worn if you are competing for a tiarra and a sash. Yuck.
Just as thin as she’s always been
I think I saw a smaller version of her dress draped over a roll of toilet paper at someone’s grandmother’s house, calling itself a “toilet paper cozy”.
I’ve seen her this thin before, but Jesus Christ, she seems to grow uglier by the day.

Thanks Ava - Rachel Zoe was the name I was trying to think of - she sure does look like her in that first picture, which is definitely NOT a compliment. Her body looks pretty good - skinny but not excessively so, but that weight loss is sure not doing her face any favors.

It’s hard to tell. I’d like to see a photo of her in jeans and t-shirt - that would be more telling than that gown.

That’s an unfortunate face she has, but her body fits her is meant for a small frame, and she is rather small.

She is very thin- but her back and arms are muscular so she doesn*t look tooo thin…but she*s getting very close.
as for her face- i think she looks uncomfortable in all of the pictures which is never attractive.
I think she looks the same weight as she did during Buffy, except a little less muscle tone (in her arms, from what I can tell) and she’s older. Her neck looks corded like someone who’s 10 years older than she is, but that’s probably just from the way she’s holding her head in that photo. Her back looks great.
She had to work very hard to stay in Buffy shape, so this is probably her natural shape. I think it suits her. She looks lovely.
I love her dress! I thnk her face is a tad to skinny it is aging her face. She looks good everyehere else she should not loose one more pound or it will look bad.

well, shes always been skinny and has never yo yo-ed at all. her face is looking a little old, but it just might be this pic. shes sort of rocking a rachel zoe face and look and i dont know if thats a good thing.

I started watching the buffy series this past weekend…and I must say I envied her body back then…but this…this is way to thin….although I do like the concept of the dress….color goes great with her skin tone….

This woman has a very small frame, but she’s not horribly skinny. I think I saw someone roaming Ceasar’s Palace wearing that themed-out get -up last time I was there.

No offense to the person who said SMG is “naturally skinny” but go back and look at the early days of Buffy or All My Children (when she played Susan Lucci’s daugher) She was much much curvier!

SMG is HOT! She’s naturally tiny - she was a once a nationally ranked figure skater - so her frame is small. I’ve never seen a picure of her looking very big. In her early Buffy days she was slightly heavier, but always very thin and fit. So “f”-off and stop calling her gross and ugly b/c she’s not!

That girl has been thin thin for a long time. I remember watching her on Buffy, the first season she was a little plumper but then she lost it and has been thin ever since. I think it suits her, she’s just a tiny girl.

I think she looks a bit gaunt here, being this thin won’t do her any favours as she ages her face will start to look more wrinkled. I preferred her at the weight she was during Buffy of course that’s just personal taste.
A lot of these people who look thin in pictures don’t look too thin, but the camera adds 10-15 lbs. so off camera I’m sure she looks tiny as can be.
The cut of the dress makes her look skinnier too..
the place where it comes down in the ribcage by the front sort of… Janet Jackson wears dresses like this after every major weight loss.. they get her in all the magazines again.
I think SMG looks gorgeous. She is 30 and just gorgeous… I hope I look half as beautiful as her when I get to 30. Plus she’s always been very petite and slender and very active as well. I think it’s just in her genes.

You’re going to call me crazy - I know the dress is customey, no need to tell me - but I love this look. Her face has seen better days though and the gauntness of it makes me believe she is not eating enough.

Bea- Um, the Scooby Days were her thinnest. I’ve been a big fan of hers for a long time and those scooby movies were definetly her skinniest period because she was doing Buffy and the movies at the same time.
i think that the first picture is taken from a bad angle, which is probably why she looks a little scary skinny in that one.. in the other two though, i think she looks healthy, like she always has..
Well–her arms don’t look too thin. You can usually detect thin arms when the top part of the arm is thinner than the forearm.

The body is thin but I think what mainly makes it TOO thin for me is when the upkeep of that size has seemingly instantly aged her 20 years. Something wrong with that…

I remember reading the Marie Claire that she was on the cover of about a year ago, and in it she said about turning thirty, that she wasn’t scared because she doesn’t think she looks thirty, so she gets the wisdom of age and still gets to look young.

The heavy tan and the caked on makeup can make a person look older. I think she’d look totally different (younger) without it.
I’m tempted to say she doesn’t look too thin, since I think she looks fine and her bones aren’t sticking out. But- it always irks the hell out of me when people say someone IS too thin because their bones DO stick out (usually means nothing!!! agghh!). I have a friend about this size and she works verrry hard to maintain it, because gaining 2 lbs has the same effect that 10 lbs would on me. But she’s not anorexic. Just diligently healthy.
Also, I can’t get over the ‘older’ becoming the new ‘12yroldboy’, as it seems. The last time Holmes and Gellar were really famous was 10 yrs ago. It’s OKAY for them to look older. Also, if regular exercise and healthy eating leads to losing x lbs and looking older, maybe they’re willing to sacrifice that for… I don’t know, an extra 20 yrs of life?
She is looking very much like Rachel Zoe in the face. When you are only in your 30’s and you look like you are in your 40’s, you are probably too thin. The body needs some fat to add softness to the features. So yes, she needs to gain weight.

Sarah Michelle Geller is getting older so she’s obviously going to look older, and about her back, she had Scoliosis when she was younger. Its when your spine grows in like an S shape and you have to get a very painful operation to fix it, my sister has it. There will always be a slight hump in your back even after the operation you can see the white line of stiching faintly down her spine.
i think she looks good didn’t like the hair color it too light for her skin. when you are too skinny you seem to age you seem to look old. when you are on a healthy weight like you are not too skinny or fat balanced weight you look young and your skin looks better also you have to eat healthy and exercise too to keep the youthfull look….

I liked SMG better back in the early days of Buffy, when she was the very image of girl power. The extreme dieting makes her look haggard and weak–the Rachel Zoe comparison was dead on.

I agree with someone else who said she is borderline too thin! IF she lost anymore weight she would be scary skinny! Granted, she is naturally a thin person but I dont recall her being this small.
