A Photoshopped Nicky Hilton

A lot of sites are making a huge deal about this picture right now, but it is clearly altered… !! [Edited to add:] I don’t think her legs are photoshopped, I think it’s the sharp, triangular shaped knee. Nobody’s knees are shaped like that.

Yeah..these have to be altered. I mean she’s definitely skinny but those legs don’t match her top half. There would have to be stick-like arms as well.

whoever photoshopped this is an idiot and a blatant newb who has no knowledge about body proportions; nikki’s knee looks like it’s going to pop out and form a new nation, it’s huge. sure she’s thin but don’t try to put this girl in a bad light, she’s a way better person than her sister and shouldn’t have to undergo pressure about her body. i think she looks great the way she is now.

i don’t think it’s photoshopped…her knees are usually as pronounced and defined…trust me, i’m a web designer and often use photoshop…

umm her waist into hip section (right where the vest ends) looks SO bizarre to me. i’ve seen pictures of her in this outfit and they DO NOT look anything like this one- i’ll try to see if i can find them. but her inner thigh has strange difinition and the shadow seems off too.. i say theres NO WAY this is real

the visual distortion is caused by the type of lens used and the distance the camera is to the closet part of her body (her right foot)
that illusion does NOT mean her thigh is made to look thinner that it really is - just that that leg looks longer.
her weight is on her back leg - this is why the left one looks bigger than the right.

Have you ever seen photographs of Holocaust victims, or anyone who is dying of starvation? They have that same “knee-bigger-than-thighs” look–if you have no fat around your thigh bones, that’s what it’s going to look like. It’s shocking, but not necessarily photoshopped.

if it is altered, which i doubt, i’d say it’s only barely. she is extremely thin, and happens to have pointy-looking knees.
I don’t know. I asked a computer photoshop- teckie/geek friend of mine and he says “not shopped”. She has been losing at an alarming rate of late, so who knows. I will be on the look-out for new video footage of her over the next couple of weeks, and if I notice anything to support either stance I will forward the link to you Rian, via email.
I don’t know, I tend to agree with the people saying it’s just a very bad angle (and her unfortunately shaped legs). She has quite boney knees and her thighs just above her knees are usually quite thin.
It wasn’t altered THAT much people. It’s possible it’s the angle. Looking at the shadowing, it looks pretty real. Shadowing is like that is more difficult to fake. Whoever did it actually did a decent job. You should’ve seen the chop job on some girl’s leg in last month’s Self Mag.
The fact is, the girl is sickeningly skinny. She needs help.
The dead giveaway is the fact that the shadow of her thigh doesn’t match the outline. It’s so blatantly photoshopped that it isn’t funny. She IS really thin, but not THAT thin.

it is so obviously photoshopped. the shadow on her left thigh from her right thigh is straight while her right thigh actually looks deformed. The shadow should have a bend in it.

It is funny that just previous to Nicky there was the title regarding Jordan’s legs being extremly too skinny. Compare Jordan’s skinny legs to Nicky’s skinny legs. Amazing.

NOT photoshopped. The picture is taken from far away with a long range lens. Note the cast shadows….this is not fake, just a wierd angle…and she is SCARY SKINNY anyway!!!

I think it’s real. In my teens I was really skinny and my knees looked like that, ate like a horse and had a very fast metabolism. I think it’s possible.
definitely photoshopped. the shadow is all off, the kind that I (a photoshop amateur) make when I alter photos. when it hits the post it should be in a different location from when it hits the ground…which it isn’t. needless to say, unphotoshopped she is still quite thin.
Photoshopped or not she is getting scary skinny, Her shorts are tiny. She looks like she is wearing a size 2, and on someone her height that is way small. Looks like she is following in the footsteps of celebs like Nicole Richie-if you don’t have talent to get you noticed in Hollywood get super skinny to get noticed. Sad thing is it seems to work.
you should post the other photos in the series - then it would be pretty clear that the photo is NOT photoshopped It definitely is a strange camera angle in this shot.

looking at this picture late at night in the dark makes it look extremely creepy, like a still out of a horror flick and the killer has just caused some sort of compound fracture.

Having worked as a photograper in the past, I think this is just an unlucky shot for her. The lens angle has caused her already thin leg to appear stretched/elongated from the rest of her body, making it look even thinner, longer and bonier. Some photographers actually use angle (lighting too) techniques to intentionally make subjects look thinner and it can be quite effective.
Whether it is photoshopped or just a bad lens angle, the girl is horribly thin.
I think she is just emaciated…personally. People who lose muscle mass in their legs have boney knees. Whatever! If this is photoshopped, then they did one hell of a job….do any of you even know anything about photoshop?

Rian, if you showed us the real picture, I would believe this picture is photoshopped but I have seen recent pictures of her on Gettyimages and she looks as skinny as on this picture so I don’t think it’s photoshopped or not so much photoshopped.
It’s so sad that people do this! These pictures wind up on pro-anorexia sites where people hold them up to be the ideal body image. I thought the photoshopped Nicole Richie pics were bad but this is getting ridiculous!

the shadow on her second leg is weird, it’s to dark for the daylight. But it could be the line of her original leg…. if it has been photoshopped. It’s not so obvious to me.

Bad angle, caught at an ugly moment in movement - I don’t think it’s photoshop - she has looked sickly skinny for some time now.
The reason why the shadow of her knee appears straight might be that it is falling on the edge of that wood thingummy she is walking past.

These images actually aren’t manipulated Try searching for pictures of Nicky Hilton on an editorial image provider, e.g. Getty Images, and you’ll see that she really is this skinny.
Jeez, people. You can have skinny legs and fat arms. Not everyone in the world is perfectly proportionate!
I honestly have no idea if this is photoshopped since Nicky Hilton really does have long, thin legs, but if you look at her foot, a tendon seems to be showing there too, making it seem more likely that she is actually as thin as this picture (taken at a weird angle) shows her.
Not that she doesn’t have thin arms, contrary to what some people are claiming. I’m just saying.

i just saw the set of pics on thefashionspot and they are not photoshopped. when she’s lifting her leg, there is just no muscle there so it really is that skinny. its pretty gross, but i still think she looks great in designer clothes. i blame society, lol.

umm if u go look at the pictures of her on the beach wearing the striped bathing suit..her knee looks the same! this is NOT retouched!! her knee is more bent here than in the beach photo and her weight is all the way on her back leg..it is NOT retouched..go look at the beach photos!
If you look at the pictures of her in a bikini, The stripey one, her knee looks exactly the same. its in the celebrity skeleton.

This photo is indefensible. I have to say, as someone who has worked closely with those who have eating disorders, this is NOT photoshopped; there are plenty of women with eating disorders ( and terminal cancer patients, all all kinds of people with illness) who look like this , some who look alot worse. Please stop glorifying and defending this. The rationalization of this photo sends a dangerous message.

I just dont get how her knee is facing inward but her foot is slightly outward. Bad angle, possible…photoshop possible…but anatomically speaking wouldnt that make walking very uncomfortable and possibily knee twisting?

Sorry to tell you guys, but as a trained “photoshopper” I’d say that her knee has not been altered (or at least not that much). Look the shadows behind her the lines match (these are the hard to match). Once more there are no repeating tonal patterns in her knee or in the wooden post behind her. Sometimes you just catch a funny angle with the camera.
