well, he’s kinda fat. But he’s 71 years old so it doesn’t really matter. When I’m 71 and I don’t have to work anymore I would do the same. Just have fun, travel, eat, watch television, relax and gain weight

I agree that at 71 it shouldn’t matter what he or anyone else looks like. I DISagree that most men can’t walk at 71- Katie, you must live in an area with some seriously sub-par medical care.
I don’t care what he looks like now, but I’m going to point out that I don’t think he’s EVER been attractive. I guess I’m the only woman on earth who thinks that, but … yuck.

No, andrea, you’re not the only woman who has never found him attractive. He’s never appealed to me on any level, ever.
The man I was involved with for almost eight years, and with whom I am still the best of friends, is 71 now, and he looks ten times better than this. He still goes to the gym five days a week, lifts weights *big time* (Olympic style), and could put men half his age to shame.

at 71 who cares what you look like. But the fact of the matter is, he should be watching what he eats and working out for the simple fact that its HEALTHY. it’s not all about being skinny until no one cares then eating all you want, it’s about being healthy throughout your life.

I’m gonna care how I look at 71! Maybe not about laugh lines, droopy bits, and grey hair, but I’ll still care about overall health and fitness. Jack looks like he never cared, and it’s all caught up with him. He’s talented but I never though he was attractive. Repulsive, yes. Attractive, no.

If it were a 71 year old woman in a bikini, I’d be saying GROSS, put it away. But everyone should be able to swim, and he’s wearing what men usually wear. If he had on a thong speedo I’d be more critical. If that same 71 year old woman was wearing a modest one piece I don’t think I’d notice.
