There have been recent tabloid stories suggesting that Janet is trying to lose weight again, but she pretty much looks the same in these pictures as she has for a while now.

Larry mentioned she was 42 years old and she said no, I am 41 years old. She mentioned that she lost 60 pounds. The black dress gives the appearance of a tiny waist and big hips.

She is perenially fashion challenged. No matter how big she is, that dress makes her look bigger. Her hips look to be about 50″. And that hair is scarily 80’s, in a Facts of Life kind of way. I’ve always admired her attitude, nonetheless.

That dress looks so frumpy…it’s like something a 50 year old elementary school teacher would wear. She’s gotta be wearing a girdle under that too, because her forearms aren’t really in proportion to the rest of her body. She’s chubbier than she’s letting on, that’s for sure.

Maybe it’s just the bangs, but her face looks a lot plumper than other times when she’s gotten thin. So for that reason, I tend to think she is not as thin as she has been before.
Janet is another one of these “celebs” that is in the news more for her weight issues than for any talent (I guess there may be some of that left in there). I think that outfit is definitely to hide how big she is. She looks far from tiny to me.
I wonder how long it took her to beat Beyonce for that hair?
