Mariah Carey Update

I’d have to agree that she is definitely skinnier now than I can recall her being anytime in recent years…

don´t like her outfit here (oh sorry, I forgot it´s normal by Mariah), but surprisingly I also got a problem with her hair here - less and thin. Anyway love her voice …. hawk

Mariah doesn’t look fit or toned- AT ALL. She has okay legs, but her body is just….there. Nothing remarkable.
She does all sorts of creative things to make herself appear slimmer–remember the airbrushed abs? Also she obviously wears spanx all the time.
definatly NOT skinny. r ever. she has that body that will not be skinny, she’s a thick women with a HUGE voice.. she’s a diva, and most diva’s are thicker.. (Aretha Franklin?)
oh come on guys!!!! she looks gerrrrreat!!!! she is def “skinny” for mariah anyway. i mean mariah is never going to have a body like kate bosworth and she probably isnt going to want one anyway. so i think to mariah this is probably what is “skinny” for her(i mean besides back from when she first came out and had darker hair and it wwas curly and she was kinda innocent) i think she looks fabulous here. the sunglasses are a little much….but she is beautiful and i will always love her! i am so happy for her right now!!

Gorgeous i mean she is beautiful, and yes she did lose /some/ weight but she’s not SKINNY she looks like she worked her butt off to promote her new album.

skinny?! hell no… maybe she’s lost weight, she doesn’t look as chubby as she usually does (which is because of her bad clothing, not really beause of her weight).

She does look smaller than she has in the past. Why? Because this dress is the equivalent of Spanx for her entire torso.
Her arms look huge in that first picture. Mariah Carey is nowhere near “skinny” although she does weigh less than she used to.

I HAVE THAT DRESS! granted i would not wear it with black tights and silver sandals, and tacky tacky tacky silver jewellry plus novelty plaster??… but honestly guys the dress isnt that bad! £30 from american apparel.. you would think she’d be able to afford something a little more special than my broke-student-clothes tho…

I must be older than a lot of you and can remember Mariah when she first became famous. She was REALLY skinny back then. Anybody remember her Vision of Love video? She was very skinny. Plus she looked a lot better back then and more natural without her fake boobs, overplucked eyebrows, and straightened hair.

Mariah is so goofy and corny. Her antics and mannerisms are ridiculous, and her clothes are a mess. She’s not performing well anymore either.

Just watching her on TV, and even with the extra 10 pounds cameras should add, she looks tiny on the screen. Smaller than here even - and while wearing a black pantsuit.

So weird, I saw her on TV tonight (in the uk) and was saying to my friend how she looked a lot skinnier than usual, and then you post these pictures tonight! Yes I definitely think she is looking quite a bit skinnier than she usually does!

melissa, that’s the first thing i thought! isn’t mariah a little old for american apparel, especially their body con dresses? sheesh.
She does look thinner than she used to be, but she’s not really skinny. I saw her music video and I was like “Oh my God, she’s got the tiniest waist in the world” but it’s obviously just clever effects, because she doesn’t look like that in candids. I remember thinking the same thing about music videos from her last album.
I reckon this woman is just a mad control freak about the images used in her videos/album sleeves etc, but she can’t control candids!

I looked like that after my baby was born and sat and cried looking at it. Trust me that is no where near thin fit or pretty. It looks like a lard ASS from sitting all day long because she never does anything. What she spends 3 mo. sitting in a small room singing? I would love to see a pic of her sweating at a gym.
She’s deffinitely not skinny (nowwhere near!) but she does look toned and fit. She looks like she’s squeezed into her clothes though which does tend to maker her look bigger. Her face is looking better and less hamster like of late. Keep it up girl! (Get a decent stylist before your 40th birthday or you’ll end up like Kylie - 20 from the back and 60 from the front)!

She’s not skinny. Thank God she isn’t. We need at least one woman out there with a bit of flesh on her bones. She looks thinner because what she wears looks suspiciously like spanx wear. I always thought you are supposed to wear it underneath your clothes, but then… this IS Mariah we are talking about, she has no dress sense

Oh miriah…I’m so happy for her because she obviously struggles with her weight/loves the hoochie clothes…lots of pressure there…anyway…she has got alot to go before she has to worry about being too skinny…and at that point she will need to really watch it cuz she is pushing 40.
She´s sooooo ugly! That face is really scary and what about her body? It´s scary and ugly. Looks like a dragqueen to me.
I think Mariah Carey is dreadful looking, in the face of course. && what’s with this bandaid she’s been wearing on her hand? I see it in this pic as a blue one and when she was on American Idol she had one on too that was a different color, I think pink. Weird.
Mariah definitely lost a lot of weight. I saw her perform live on American Idol and she’s so skinny! Good for her!
I think most of the people on this post here have been haters. Granted, she may not have the best taste in clothes she is still the queen of what she does and thats make hits!! Imho, she looks great for her age and yeah you can see she was skinny on American Idol. I think what fools ppl is her arms are not really small so ppl assume she is not small when in fact she is a size 2 I just read the report on yahoo. She went from an 8 to a 2 lost 20 pounds. Personally, I think she looks good but she doesnt need to lose anymore weight it wont suit her.
She does have a nice shape however I was watching a program recently “Billy Bush” was reporting claiming that Mariah has gone from a size 8 to a size 2 which is highly laughable.She looks like she is an 8 currently. Why on earth lie about your clothing size or weight? That is just absurd since it is obvious when someone is a size 2 or size 8. Let’s compare her height to another celebrity for example Paris Hilton who is probably the same height and a size 0 or 2. Also, why is Mariah stuck in the 1970’s and 1980’s trashy look in terms of her dress? She has all the money in the world to dress beautifully yet is caught in some time warp in regards to her dress. Maybe she dresses this way to show off her shape but she could do that without looking cheesy (i.e. hot pants and spandex mini skirts).
