That dress would be so much better if the neckline was sweetheart shaped or something. When your peitte you probably should try to elongate your neck.
I guess I’m the only one who thinks she looks like a cross between Hayden Pantomine and the guy in the “Scream” painting. Feh.

I think she looks great - her hair looks really healthy and full.
However, I agree, the neckline should be different - petite women really should be more aware of the cut of their dresses.

Not a fan of either Olsen but I must admit she looks rather sophisticated..amazing what a good hair washing and non-goth makeup can do for her.

First off, Ashley doesn’t dress grungy, Mary-Kate does. She looks fabulous and I’m so dorkily tuned into both the Olsens that I’ve noticed her gaining weight for the past little while now. Hopefully she’s ok with it and can be a good influence on my girl Mary Kate as well. They rock! Don’t hate.
It is not about the body, it is about how glowing she looks! She is stunning: from her hair, tan to her poise.
She has more presence than before. She is gorgeous and glamourous as in a Mel Brooks movie and I wish she continues on that path.

i lovee the olsens, both their styles are great. but i think ashley realises she’s beautiful enough, she doesn’t need to be super skinny. i think she’s a great size, healthy & normal - i dont see how, in any way, you can says she’s fat. people’s opinions are soo warped its crazy!
The Olsens are not identical, in fact they have very different lips and eyes. I like Ashley’s face a lot more. MK has weird duck lips, but her body is better.

Yeah she looks lovely - and yes she has gained weight in my opinion but not masses and she looks really good now. Though in saying that I don’t think that dress is particularly flattering but she still has managed to pull it off.

She looks refined and elegant here, but the neck area of the dress is bothering me to an extreme. There’s too much volume in this dress; there needs to be a sense of contrast. I think a wide red belt would look amazing against the black. But the material is just too voluminous, everywhere.

Yeah, as others have mentioned, there is something about Ashley’s face (especially in one of the pics.) Maybe she is just bloated. It happens! Her arms look to be normal…not twigs. HATE the dress. IMO, it (the dress) swallows her up and she does look to have gained, perhaps, a few pounds (like 5 or 6 maybe)? But Ashley is just 5′3′ (an inch taller than M-K). Still, Ash is small (tiny) boned and any weight on her shows up IMMEDIATELY ! The style of that dress (IMO) could give the illusion that Ashley looks heavier than she really is. Also, the camera angle combined with that full dress does Ash NO JUSTICE at all !! (that dress looks like what the women’s dresses of the past when ladies wore those full flowing dresses ..”hoop” type(s) with lots of extra material a few centuries back)!

She looks really great, weight-wise, but that dress is weird-looking. Why is it so high in the front? Plus, black at a wedding is kind of strange, but not unheard of. I went to a wedding once where all the bridesmaids wore black and it looked really classy. I think it works best if you have a night wedding.
She definately looks like a separate identity - not one of the ‘olsen twins’. She looks really growen up, statuesque and beautiful.

I think she looks pretty, I’d love her to be a little less blonde and the dress is hideous but she really doesn’t need diet tips from someone who has already been in rehab for an eating disorder - Mary-Kate is alot prettier but will never look it so long as she looks ill (even now).

Yeah, agree with Spectra….people (girls/women) do wear black to weddings. And on the “E” (TV)Channel where they follow all the celebs and what they are doing (and NOT doing)as well as a couple of other credible sources; these sources have MADE IT known that Ashley was a “bridesmaid” in this wedding party. It was her one of her friends who is one of Ashley’s stylists who just got married. Therefore it was NOT Ash’s choice to wear black, it was the bride’s choice. The “theme” of Ashley’s stylist friend (who just married) was black and white. And sometimes the bride does choose to have a white and black wedding theme going. At the church I attend, the Pastor’s daughter got married and all her bridesmaids wore black bridesmaids’ gowns. It was a pretty wedding…wasn’t certain how the bride (in white) and black dresses for the bridesmaids would look but it was actually quite gorgeous.
Black (as a bridesmaid theme) is more popular than many would think. I personally don’t like the style of the dress Ashley is wearing. It is very unflattering and makes her look heavier/thicker than she (Ash) actually is. I think that the combination of that hideous dress and the camera angle make Ashley look heavier than she actually is. Hope to see her in another outfit (spring & summer ar coming) when we can see a bit more of Ashley’s body (when she isn’t wearing such an all encompassing and long dress that hides her frame from head to toe!
