I actually think she looks great! Maybe it’s the clothes but she looks smaller to me.
I can’t tell if she has or hasn’t. I usually see her in dresses, which are more flattering to the hip-and-thigh area than these jeans are. I still think she’s beautiful and confident, and as long as she eats healthy, who cares …
i was watching “i know what you did last summer” a while ago, and shes always been pretty bottom heavy. i mean, her arms are alot bigger now, but i dont think shes fat. shes just really sadly proportioned.
I must agree Rian, she’s definitely put on some poundage. But at least she’s still beautiful, and that’s all anyone really looks at.
I like seeing a normal body shape in Hollywood. She is by no means fat, she is normal.

frankly speaking i think she lost a little bit weight. the last time i saw her she seemed to look a lot bigger. mhm, i’m not sure, but i guess she either the same or a little bit less weight…
i agree that she doesn’t look that different from before. she’s curvy and not terribly toned (evident in the arms), but i think her frame is still pretty small.
i can’t imagine she weighs much more than 120 or 125 at her height of 5′2″.

Did she look fantastic in Heartbreakers? Yes. Has she aged? Yes. Does she look as good as she did 5-10 years ago? No. But I’d bet good money most of you won’t either.
@the end of the day, her weight and her body is HER business, & her bf’s. She doesn’t go places begging for attention like some stars, and yet some people seek her out to poke fun. Its shameful.

I have this same top from Jcrew (in white).. I got an XS and its big and flowy on me. I’m 5′6′’ 115lbs and fit and this top definitely makes me look heavier so I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt and saying she hasn’t gained.

Her size is great, I just think “healthy curves” involve some of the ones you get from having muscle tone. I just see couch potato when I look at her. I don’t think everyone needs to “work out” but isn’t there any sort of activity she enjoys? Hiking, kayaking, biking, racquetball, anything?

Its so sad that ppl see nicole richie as “normal” and jennifer “fat” or “chubby”. Nicole is UNHEALTHY. She looks sick, emaciated, malnourished. Its just our eyes getting used to seeing all these skinny ppl on tv,mags,internet etc. that made us see normal,healthy ppl as overweight. She looks like she’s lost a little bit of weight. Like a previous poster said, her arms no longer look like sausages. As for her boobs balancing the bottom…..they really don’t. You need comparable shoulder width to accompany the boobs in order to balance her wide bottom half.
Her puppy is SO CUTE!!!! JLH is maybe a little bottom-heavy, but she’s not fat by any means. She’s not as skinny as she was back in the day, but I say people should give her a break and let her have the pleasure of gaining a bit of weight. I’m sure that if she ever really HAD to lose weight for a role or something, she probably would.

There’s nothing wrong with curves, but don’t announce to the world that you’re a size 2 when you’re obviously an 8 or 10! Jennifer Aniston is a size 2 or 4, and Aniston is soooo much thinner and leaner than Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Ya know, there have been plenty of posts here of women who are healthy, fit and gorgeous not just the sickly skinnies like Nicole Richie and the Olsen Twins. This is not a healthy fit woman in her early 20’s.

i think she looks great! she may not be super toned or extra lean but hey, not everyone wants to be a slave to the gym (not like thats a bad thing though!). i think that everyone is built differently and she just happens to have a build bigger than a size zero. kudos to her for being happy with her size and not doing something totally drastic to change it.
She is young and is in the limelight. Per Hollywood standard she is not fit. She must choose to ignore the Hollywood standard. I think she is beautiful but would look amazing if she lost 10lbs and worked out!

“slave to the gym”, eh? 20 - 30 minutes of cardio vascular activity 3-4 times a week is not being a slave, it’s being healthy. A game of soccer, touch football, tennis? Riding your bike around? Something any person in their 20’s could/should be doing.
Tonya and nikki, it’s thinking that level of activity is too much, that has more than 1/2 of America being obese. And that attitude is almost as bad as thinking you have to be starved thin to be acceptable.

Thank you Mouse! It’s sad that regular bouts of activity will get you labeled as an overachiever disciplined health nut, whereas someone who lets their bodies deteriorate gets labeled “healthy” and “regular” for it.
Bodies are such amazing things, and it’s not about looking like Jessica Biel. It’s about having back muscles that can hold you up straight and having muscles that can stretch. I shouldn’t be so hard on JLH, at least she’s…ambling.
