this is my husband’s favorite celebrity. I can’t say that I blame him for wanting her. She’s gorgeous.
I’m not really digging the outfit. It looks like my grammie’s tablecloth.

She’s pearshaped…her weight first goes on and comes off of her hips, butt and thighs….it does look like her thighs got bigger than previously, but in a good way…she started to look too skinny.

If you’re going to say JLH is “fat” or “chubby” then you’ve got to say the same thing about Kate. Her thighs are just as big as JLH’s. Actually, they look to be pretty much exactly the same size all over.
Lord-hooker heels on the beach-mariah pitched in them-TACKY!!!!!!!!!! Her thighs do look bigger on the inside of them then usually. She gets oon my nerves- She is talentless!! blah blah blah !!!!!
She wears ridiculously high heels in every outfit because she has a disproportionately long torso with short legs (like Jessica Simpson). When they are not wearing sweeping bell bottoms that cover the entire shoe, it totally shows how stumpy their legs are.

she has a very long torso and very short, stumpy legs which is why she always wears heels even in the most unsuitable of circumstances - like on a beach !
She’s gorgeous, even if she’s not dressed appropriately for the situation. And she’s actually being a mother, so I don’t think we should be too hard on her. Same for VB- as retarded as her shoe selection often is, she’s often at least out with her kids, doing something fun for them. Way to go, good celebrity mothers.
Kate is a very gorgeous young woman. Isn’t she in her mid 30’s? She really looks good…but I tend to agree, her legs / thighs do appear a tiny bit larger than previous posts with pics of her. She is by no means fat. In the last pics, her legs were looking rather borderline thin.

I LOVE the shoes, and her body is a great hour glass figure. Her legs look sexy to me. The dress is ok, but she doesn’t have to look like a bombshell 24/7.
I kind of like her cover-up…it’s cute. Although I would think that with a good body like hers, she’d wear something a bit more revealing at the beach.

I love Kate. I usually love her clothes. But I am cracking up at this ensemble..platform sandals and lace dress (cover-up?) at the beach..Good God. Anyone ever try to walk in platforms in the sand?
The BEST HAIR??? Are you KIDDING? She is wearing an obvious HAIR PIECE - its a half fall wiglett/extension combo (i know because I have one). So lemme get this straight….beach with mini skirt, hooker shoes and a wiglett….yes, that is exactly what a 34 year old should wear!
Her legs look exactly like Mischa Barton’s, only that Mischa’s are longer. Where are the usual “OMG, her legs are so pale/untoned/fat”? Her and Jessica Alba are the two most overrated B (or is it C?)-list actresses looks-wise.

Definitely gained!!! Not that it’s necessarily a bad thing, but it is so noticeble in her legs… Still beautiful though, I might even like her a bit more now, since she’s not Perfect anymore!!
I think she has maintained this weight for a few years. However, she was very skinny in Pearl Harbor.
i really like kate, she’s beautiful, has a gorgeous body, i love her style, she’s a great mom.. she’s probably one of my favourite celebrities! although i must say…what is she doing with those shoes at the beach??? besides the fact that it looks totally ridiculous and inappropiate, she’s going to break her ankles!! i like the outfit but definately not for that “occasion”.
weight wise, she’s has gained some for sure, but it doesn’t look bad and it’s not too much…she still looks great!

Jenny, these days it seems there’s hardly anyone in Hollywood who’s not a confessed former anorexic. Whose weight are we allowed to comment on? I think it’s just as rude to comment on a healthy celebrity’s weight, but that’s a small price for them to pay for all their fame and money.

And for the record- I agree with Sian. I am an actress and practically every other actress I know has some kind of food/eating disorder issue. Did you just think only naturally skinny people become famous Jenny?! If only!
It is TRUE (IMO) that the MAJORITY of the skinny Hollywood actresses allegedly battle with some type of eating disorder or maybe it would be more politically correct to say “disordered eating” or “non-eating”?? Anyway, Kate did battle anorexia for quite a while in her late teens and 20’s, wasn’t it? Maybe having had her daughter changed her body and her body metabolism, etc. Like Jenny said, though, it seems a bit critical to comment about Kate’s weight since she has struggled with her anorexia so much. Kate is still pretty thin…her legs look moreso thin in her skinny jeans pics which we often see. I do agree Kate is gorgeous, her face, her body, her hair…even if she took out the extensions, her hair would look good (especially if she has a stylist to help her with that). She does have the disadvantage of a long torso and short legs…but I believe many of the Hollywood starlets have some type of body part which they try to conceal. There are so many ways a person can compensate & dress to conceal body flaws, etc. I love the dress…but it is not exactly appropriate for a beach cover up. It looks a bit too formal to be frolicking around in the sand (and) at the water’s edge on the beach. I think her legs m-a-y be a bit heavier but no where near too heavy or fat. Her legs just look “normal”/thin as opposed to super stick-like when she was at her thinnest with the ana. Her daughter’s legs appear a bit similar to her mother’s legs. Maybe genetics OR more likely, a bad camera angle ???
I just think she possesses a classic type of beauty which is GREAT!

I have short legs too but I would be too afraid of breaking my ankle wearing heels at the beach. If she’s there to have fun, then she shouldn’t worry about things like appearance. What kind of example is she setting for her daughter? Just my opinion anyway!

she has the most amazing face-very photogenic. and she is not such a terrible actress like lets say Jessica Alba. I watched some weeks ago “vacancy”, a small, cruel, entertaining film and she was on it. Her face still remains beautiful. her body is nothing to write home about. as other commenters have said her legs are quite stumpy which is a pity because actually one can do nothing about it, especially being already thin on top. on some photos she does look amazing though! like the she-devil costume on Halloween! she was hot!

LOL-she’s always photographed wearing platforms while walking on the beach and by the pool. She could at least wear something beachier like espadrilles on the sand.
