Another Agyness Deyn Post

(And yes, I admit to not having been familiar with her or her work until doing a little research after all the comments yesterday.)
British supermodel Agyness was spotted leaving the Chanel Boutique opening event in London yesterday, looking slim and gorgeous as most supermodels tend to do.
gawd i love her. she reminds me of kiera, but a helluva lot cooler. and happier.

totally overatted. was at mulberry do last month and she was so ordinary looking, really bad posture, dressed like an old man (and i’m usually all for kirky, individualistic dressing) her skin is awful up close, her hair thin, and her skin slightly sloppy. her lips look chapped and her legs are always unshapely. if she put any weight she’d have Mischa cankles. also, all the outfits just scream try hard now - which is obviously something she’s “ironically” trying to subvert. sorry to rant on, but if this is the best us brits have to offer, i’m thinking of offering up myself…. honestly, she doesn’t even work the erin o conner anrogynous look, or 1990s power model - reckon she’s about 115lbs and no taller than 5.7 - perhaps 8 (was the same height as me). end of. Now lets please try some real talent and beauty and not this trumped up shoreditch nonsense.
she has like a different kind of beauty… which i’m not sure if i like, but she’s attractive for sure. but what’s up with those legs??? i’d never wear a skirt with my legs full of bruises!
she’s pretty, hip, androgynous–i think she’s cool. but way, way, way, way too thin. she’s got such a classic face if she put on a tad bit of weight she could pull off a more sensual look. right now, she is everything but sensual. she is rough and hard and rock n’ roll, which is all good on its own. but throw a little sensuality in and you have debbie harry–she is NOT debbie harry now, but could be if she weren’t so damn thin.
I can’t say I find her that attractive, but then I never saw the appeal of Kate Moss either. They both seem awfully plain to me.

WOW she looks absolutely spectacular (apart from the outfit..)! I don’t understand why some people are giving her such a hard time, comparing her to major supermodels like Kate Moss. We all know it takes years and years of hard work in order to be labeled as “legendary” within the model business. Kate Moss herself struggled a lot in the beginning having to deal with massive criticism for her skinny frame, but look at her now.. Agyness has her own style and she works it great, whether you like it or not.
She is so gorgeous! I really love her style and her body! She is perfect!
So, what with the bruises? I think she loves to party like a real punk lady… maybe a bit to hard sometimes? But who cares, when you got such perfect legs?

I work high up in the fashion industry and I can tell you right now, this chick is a flash in the pan….And you’re right, I don’t “get” her “look” because it is highly contrived and put together by stylists and her other model friends. Spoke to concierge at St. Martin’s Lane Hotel in London, apaprently she stays thin by heavily indulging in cocaine and snortable heroin…

Ok, I don’t even know where to start with this chick. She’s wearing that STUPID Chanel bag that’s supposed to be an ankle bag (it’s supposed to look like those dumb alcohol monitoring ankle bracelets they give DUI convicts) on her arm. It’d be bad enough if she wore it on her ankle, but that would draw too much attention to her horrifically ugly shoes.
um, yeah this outfit is almost as hideous as the last post. she is not attractive, and she has zero muscle tone. looks like she has been heavy once, and has a little bit of loose skin especially in her arms. she’s just weird.
She’s a fierce dresser for sure, but I think she’s a bit over-rated. As to the bruises..I mean, she’s a supermodel. Coudln’t she come up with a bit of cover-up to hide those nasty things?

she has that androgynous look that can both be striking, edgy and pretty all interchangeble with the right make-up, it sells and works very well with clothes, maybe not so much cosmetics but you never know
a pretty dress ruined by those shoes, she can be too punky and that pouchette is cute, looks better on arms than ankles
I’ve decided I don’t like her face… there’s just something about it. I hope there arent too many posts of her in the future. Good body and photogenic, that’s really all ya need to be a model.
oh and she has the perfect model body, not too skinny that she looks like a skeletoin but slim enough to wear anything but i would hate to be built like her, i wouldn’t mind the height though
I find her facinating because no other current model has this look. People always demonstrate unbeileveable amounts of hate towards those that are different and making it big. I congratulate her for her sucess. To add I think she sports a more natural figure rather than the many extremes that exist.

I read this article on obtaining perfect beauty and they used Agnyss’ face as an example of having an almost perfect face ratio. Hate her or love her, she is quite stunning.
I do like her as a model, I think she brings lots of energy. But I think her “style” is idiotic and over-rated.

I really don’t find anything too amazing about her, yet she keeps popping up everywhere. You guys are really impossible. You say that Jennifer Love Hewitt (who by the way represents the thin medium of the american woman) is fat, you say Nicole Richie or Nicky Hilton and Jenna Jameson are to skinny, and that Kate Beckingsale or Katherine Heigl or any other woman that clearly works out looses weight by smoking (which, by the way, is a stupid myth. Smoking might curb your appetite, but it won’t make you actually lose weight, maybe just keep it off.)
So in short, the girls that are chubby are emotional overeaters or are miserable because they are fat, or fat because they are miserable, the girls that are too skinny are cokeheads and the ones that look perfectly fit and fabulous are bitches and probably throw up.
