Anne Hathaway Is Getting Skinny

Here are some pictures of her both on the set of her latest movie and at the MTV Movie Awards earlier this month.
The weight loss is especially evident in her face, but also noticeable pretty much everywhere else.
What do you all think - is she getting too thin?

I don’t see her getting skinny. I think it’s just because she is getting old and her face becomes more defined. Like Jennifer Love Hewitt? I think she is also bottom-heavy.

I think it’s due to trouble in paradise. Her man has been under investigation for a lot of suspicious financial issues lately.
Anne doesn’t have a body type that screams skinny, but she actually is probably pretty emaciated for her frame.
I’ve noticed her looking much more svelte than her former Deveil Wears Prada self (which is prob her natural body type) and this means she is either hard core dieting or exercising or both.
Or maybe shooting Bride Wars around skinny minny Kate Hudson has hammered her self-esteem.

I think she’s beautiful. Very lovely face. She has a very pretty appearance.
However, with that said, I must admit I cringe whenever I read her interviews. Let’s just say her speech does NOT match her appearance. In speech, she’s rather crude, and it’s jarring. Oh well.

She looks great… definately nowhere near too thin. I’d guess she’s probably around a size four, and at 5′8″ that’s more than resonable.
The title of this post should have been “Anne Hathaway is Getting In Shape”. She was morbidly obese in her post-Prada days.

She is slim, but certainly not awfully skinny. Her body looks a bit like mine (ok she’s probably taller than me, but for the rest..) and I wouldn’t call myself too thin.
Yeah she probably HAS lost weight..but that’s quite normal in Hollywood and as long as she doesn’t go too far, I don’t think people need to start the ED speculations..
And btw she has a very pretty face.

She had to get in shape for get smart. If you have seen previews she is the fighting type in the movie and she did alot of boxing and such.

looks like she doesn’t eat much. Maybe she should try exercising instead of not eating. I don’t like her–I’m not sure why anyone wants to see her on film.

She’s really pretty. She got a bit thick after DWP. But she appears to be losing weight, which is great, i think she’d look really yummy if she dropped another dozen lbs or so.
i totally agree with starspy; she’s quite emaciated for her frame. she is one of the last people i thought would cave into this skinny obsession, but lo and behold, she’s there. its kind of sad, especially since she’s always boasted about embracing her body for its curves and what not. sad.

Even though she’s a good actress, she’s not pretty. She looked a LITTLE better when she wasn’t as skinny; now she just looks kind of like a tranny.
Anne filmed a few scenes for bride wars on my street in boston, and I saw her walking around quite a bit. All I have to say is the camera does add weight because in person she is downright bony and sickly looking.

The weight loss makes her look old. She’s by no means too skinny, but she looked better with a bit more weight.
Holy moly she is looking GREAT in these pics! I can definitely see the weight loss and it really suits her…she has such a beautiful face and I’m glad the weight loss doesn’t affect it like it does with some women
i think she’s naturally on the skinny side. she gained weight for Princess Diaries and of course Devil Wears Prada. Still looks pretty healthy. Love her skin, it’s flawless.
Her legs look amazing in the MTV photos. That being said, I can’t tell whether she’s lost weight or not. She pretty much always looks good.

She’s definitely thinner than when she was in Ella Enchanted and the first Princess Diaries. I think she looks great either way. Maybe she had extra weight that was making her feel gross and she wanted to get rid of it.

She had a bought of anorexia in her teens, when she first got into acting, I believe.
Everyone who’s familiar with the disease knows that it’s almost never completely cured… even if someone gets better and gets to a healthy weight, there is like a 90% chance of relapse at some point in your life.

she has said that she loses weight for movies because her body is not her own but for the rest of her life she really doesn’t care, so I think that’s mostly what we’re seeing here. She’s in this movie and probably trying to look skinnier b/c that’s what her character is.
I liked her better before but I don’t htink she’s *too* skinny yet though her body type is definitely a bit bigger than this naturally.
Anne does seem to appear that she’s lost some weight…but it suits her. And while working on the “Get Smart” movie…she did a LOT of physical activity…and now working with Kate Hudson….these 2 things alone would undoubtedly give her some incentive to want to lose a few lbs. But she really didn’t need to lose any lbs. However, she looks just right…perfect. Just hope she does not cave in to the Hollywood scary skinny sick look! At least we don’t read about her having DUI’s, doing drugs, drinking & partying, going to jail or rehab or rehabs! Think that Anne looks lovely.

She looks slim, and slimmer than prior, definitely. But, I don’t think she’s looking particularly unhealthy or emaciated yet just skinny. I think whoever said that it may be from aging and for a role or perhaps even a drastic diet for the awards show could be onto something. She’s still a pretty girl and I like that she doesn’t “look” like everyone else in Hollywood facially. I hope she doesn’t lose much more though.

That is such a load of bull. Her face is ten times more unique than other celebs such as Katherine Heigl or Lindsay Lohan. She’s beautiful!
Ugh she has NEVER been morbidly obese. That’s the stupidest thing I’ve read all day. She is a bit thinner but she isn’t unhealthy. If she stays like this she will be fine. She is so beautiful and different than the other stars.

I was worried about this with her. I think she doesn’t look scary skinny or even all that skinny, but I don’t think this is her natural weight for her frame. I worry that this will become a problem for her to try to maintain through unhealthy means. I think she’s gorgeous at any weight. I would grudgingly admit that I actually think she looks fantastic at this weight; any skinnier will be a problem.
I’m guessing she lost weight for her role in Get Smart. She is normally a little bigger but I think she looks great either way.

Maybe the stress over her break-up is causing her not to eat. I have a hard time eating during highly stressful times.
