I think her lips are natural, Kelso. She’s had them since she was little in the show Seventh Heaven. Her face is beautiful, but somewhat blah looking. On another note, she always looks depressed when photographed w/ boyfriend Justin Timberlake. I wonder what’s going on there.

She actually puts time and effort into working out and looking good, unlike a lot of other celebrities out there. They may be thinner than she is but they look disgusting because there is no shape, no tone.

I think she’s letting her self go. She used to have more definition in her arms, and now she has a fleshy look all over. Not good for a big boned girl to get too fleshy…..

how come on here the average person definition seems to get larger and larger, on this site - Now it is 5′3″ and 150 - that is overweight, a bmi of 26.6! I thought it was 5′4″ and 140 last stated on here which is a point away from overweight being a 24 bmi.

i’m not sure if this will make sense to anyone else, but when i think about the statistics of what the average woman weighs they are kinda misleading… so say 150 is the average… that includes everyone from anorexics to the morbidly obese. i believe that there a FAR more women 100 lbs over average, than under avrage… come on… how many 250 lb women have you seen compared to 50lb women… yeah. so the 150 would really be an exaggerated number.. i wish i knew what the average would be taking out the extremes…. i imagine the average weight would drop quite a bit.hmmm, it all makes sense in my head anyway…

otherwise, love her. looks great, as always. i think the pics are a bad angle for her arms, they’re super toned which can come across as almost chunky in certain lighting/angles.

I think girlfriend is trying a little too hard with those shoes- it’s like now that she’s been on the cover of Harper’s she has to prove it to everybody that she was worth it. I personally don’t find her in any way attractive. She’s always had such a muscular figure (which is fine), but she isn’t looking good here… at all. Pretty puffy in the face too. She has slender legs, but the rest of her is not what I would call “slim”.

Her mouth (teeth and lips) have always looked like that. I really think it’s the beige lipstick, that matches her beige face. No contrast at all.
shes pretty in a ‘girl-next-door’ way. sure, you don’t look at her and go “omg she’s STUNNING” but she has a very natural beauty, and i think men prefer that.

Why in the world do so many people on this site dislike this girl?!?! I think she is gorgeous in both face and body. And here in these pictures she looks really really pretty. She does NOT look like she gained and she most definitely does not look anywhere near chubby. Seriously, look at the pictures from a further distance and you’ll see that if you actually saw this body on the street you would think she’s thin and fit. Most of the guys I know absolutely love this girl and her body is their ideal. She’s so heathy and toned and you all know it. She’s working out and doing activities all the time. She has been thinner in her life and she obviously could be but doesn’t want to be so good for her.
Oh and Justin Timberlake is not good looking and she could get way better. I admit he looks fun to hang out with though.

I’ve never been a huge fan. But I love the fact that she’s really fit, toned and healthy—not overly so. She doesn’t try to be something she’s not ie. super skinny, just healthy and i LOVE that!

No. In the same way, it would make absolutely no sense to go around saying someone is “chubby” if you don’t look any better.

I agree with infinity88. I think it’s a bit rich to call someone like Jessica chubby when you’re not perfect either. I’d understand if she was venturing near the overweight range but judging from these pics. She looks like her BMI is like 20 and 20-25 is the safest range.
It kind of looks like her upper arm is as big as her calf from the side. Not a great look. I think if she worked on toning her upper body a bit more, she’d look better. She looks cute in that dress, though.
Chubby? Holy crap. It’s called having a shape. I know some of you are terrified of having any hint of muscle or curve on your body & would prefer to have the body of a worm, but it’s okay to have something besides skin covering your bones. Before some desperate, unoriginal person calls me fat- this is coming from someone THIN-she looks great(although it does seem she lost a bit of muscle on her arms).

After reading some of the Justin Timberlake comments, I have to post my opinion, too! Sorry for commenting twice, but… JT is not sexy. He’s not good-looking and has the “appeal” of a junior high boy– even though he’s in his mid 20s. Not sexy and not masculine. Don’t understand why so many are interested in him– he seems so manufactured.

I have the same body type as Jess, really broad shoulders that look particularly wide from that side angle and a small waist. She probably photographs much bigger than she looks irl.
Broad shoulders don’t make me feel particularly feminine sometimes, especially when you workout next to a guy and theirs are the same size!

i think she’s a fine weight whatever it is, i think this is just a unflattering photo, and purple if your 5″7 and 114 you look good the way you are , defintley not fat. i had a friend in recovery. she’s the same height and now 120 pounds and is beautiful. the average american women used to be a size 12 i read in my shape magazine awhile back. could have changed. but beauty is not a number on the scale.
