why does she always look homeless? With the exception of the bag, I think I saw this ensemble sleeping in a door way yesterday.
She’d look so much prettier & her figure would look lovely if she quit that slouching all the time. It makes her look like she has personal problems or something. I saw an interview she recently did & was surprised at her great personality & by how intelligent she is, because this slouching makes her come across otherwise. Also, it’s probably so terrible for her health & going to age dreadfully if she continues it. Maybe the Olsen sisters slouch inward because they’ve been in the public eye their entire lives & it acts as a physical expression of their need for privacy.

I’m not sure if she really is thinner than ashley these days. (Neither one of them have ever had calf muscles, which is mostly what we can see here.)
There have been lots of candids posted elsewhere over the past few weeks where mk looks very close to the same size (if not the same size) as the recent candids of ashley.
Someone’s bound to come along any minute with a comment praising her for her edgy, avant-garde style.

I think the sucking-in-of-the-cheeks is subconcious, but the no-pants look is hideous. The shoes are unbelievable. And who on earth would bring a purse, especially a huge one, to a concert?

quite obviously wearing baggy shirt to hide her not-thin midsection and show off her short, kind of normal legs, and she’s constantly sucking in her cheeks to manipulate her hideously round face, which i believe she thinks is fat-looking. she really is not skinny, just slim right now. same goes for her sister. probably only a couple of pounds difference between them. if she were a normal height then she’d be a size 4; right now probably a 0 because she’s a midget.

Wait - now I really am getting confused. Is MK the sister who owned up to having an ED and was scary skinny not so long ago? If so, then yes, she is still thinner than her sister, but I think she has thankfully gained a little. It’s hard to tell from that tent of a shirt, but she is looking a little less skeletal and frail.

Actually, she was in New York in the same apartment complex the morning Ledger OD’d, it was her who called the bodyguard when his massuese found him unconcious, but that’s not really the point here. The point is that no one, not even a person with as much money as her should wear a night shirt out in public, period. And what the heck is with that face? Kinda creepy.

She’s lucky I didn’t see her last night at the show, or i woulda toppled her over just for being so annoying and trying to be hip. I hope she actually likes radiohead and didn’t take a seat from a well deserving fan( there were TONS of people trying to get in who couldn’t get tickets when they went on sale). The only positive thing I can say about her appearance is that her hair looks MUCH better than it has looked in recent years. she’s definitely the more unnattractive and more trollish looking of the two. oh yeah, and those eyes don’t lie, she’s definitely stoned/on coke. I don’t understand why the media doesn’t make more of a deal about her drug use as opposed to the paris/lindsays of the world, but i suppose she’s more discreet about it too.
MK doesn’t look as scary skeletal thin as she did in rehab days (2004)…but she looks thinner (her legs look thinner, too) in these pics than she did in that hideous outfit of gladiator boots (or shoes?) and those ripped looking shorts and her shirt opened displaying a peak of of bra underneath. Yeah, wouldn’t be surprised if she is still doing coke. That’s what sent her to rehab in 2004…she was using coke to stay skeletal back when she was forced into rehab 2 days prior to her 18th birthday! The coke and the anorexia seemed to go hand in hand. She’s always been thinner than sis, Ashley (at least during their mid -teens….like 14 or 15) cause MK had been doing coke and drinking vodka with whatever she was drinking whether it was fruit juice, soda drinks, etc.

well, i love her and her style and i can never tell who happens to be on drugs in every picture, even though i am in college and see people high and drunk all the time. the outfit is hideous, but very MK. her legs do look thinner than the last set of pics, and i agree, those gladiator sandals she had on last time made her look worse.

man i am happy i am not a white american young woman…life is tough enough without all your peers and general society putting pressures on you to look a certain way that a very, very few can achieve without hurting themselves mentally/physically…god alone knows how east-asain women cope either

well, in a pic of her on a different website you can see that she is in fact wearing jean shorts underneath that oversized shirt. it’s hard to tell but you can see it if you look close enough. i just hate how she’s prolly thinkin she’s hip in the grungy/hippy way just cuz she’s into that sort of music (she’s been spotted at various concerts like radiohead, nine inch nails, bonnaroo). we get the gist MK, but it’s very unoriginal!!!

MK’s style is very unique and both her and her sister are considered to be fashion icons. The girls have a way of dressing in the most baggy homeless looking style and still look amazing. I personally love her grunge look and find it very chic. Love her.
I think she looks great! Wow does she have great skin and for once she’s sporting a pretty good hairstyle, the color isn’t too dakr or too light and it’s messy in a stylish way, not homeless. I don’t understand hwy she sucks her cheeks in either…otherwise looking great!

Whoever said dilated pupils was right. she is clearly drunk. I read in national enquirer that she drinks vodka for breakfast, white wine for lunch and champagne for dinner. Altoids are her only food source, she goes through a tin every 2 days.

I love the Olsen twins’ style to bits! Classic yet grungy somehow. And MK totally set the ‘bag-lady chic’ trend that inspired so many designers. She looks wayyyy better now (being blonde also makes her look more radiant than when she was a brunette). Go MK!

TO PET PEEVE: The reason we (probably) don’t see Ashley as much as MK is because Ashley had been going to college…think she quit between her junior & senior year; but, for the past 2 years or so, Ashley is busy running all of their company businesses. In a tabloid, it was reported that MK misses so many meetings. They start calling MK 2 hours before the company’s meetings and then call her every 15 minutes after the 2-hour call notice. If MK does HAPPEN to make it to a meeting she has to lie down a lot or whatever because she is so faint! Probably from her vodka breakfast and “altoids snacks”. Probably any weight she gained is from all the alcohol she consumes. She’s getting her calories from alcohol, wine, champagne in lieu of food.

i’m a gemini and am similiar to the olsens (especially mary kate) in facial features, body type, style, and personality, and i tend to slouch too. it’s just how some geminis are.
i think she looks good here. for a radiohead concert at the hollywood bowl, the outfit is perfectly appropriate. this looks like a good weight for her… she doesn’t look recovery puffy, but doesn’t look sick.
while I cannot confirm or deny the comment about the “Gemini Slouch” I can say that she DOES always slouch….it seems to be her way of making herself more invisible….or maybe she is extra self conscience around the paps. Also…..as a nurse, I can say, there is a SLIGHT discoloration on her legs that appears to be from bad circulation. But i can be a number of things. One could take the fast road and say….Well she has an eating disorder and bad circulation is a sure sign of laxative abuse…or you can put in some logic….she is leaving a concert, so she could have been standing the whole time…which causes discoloration and edema….she is thin and not wear much, so it COULD have been cold in the venue and her legs are just warming up…or that could be just the coloring of her legs!!!
Anyhow, I don’t think she looks as skinny as before, but to be she has an unhealthy appearance…not really in weight but just overall…her skin is not as youthful as it could look, her hair looks sort of stringy, an she does have a deer in heedlights look. I am not going to comment on her clothes (or lack there of) because she always looks like this to me…like she ran out the house in last weeks laundry.

i think she looks like she has personal problems because she does have personal problems. i mean she has been in rehab and we all know for what. i think that constitutes more than just a personal problem. i’m getting tired of any red thing from a hair tye to a normal piece of jewelry suddenly being a proanorexia bracelet. i dont think any famous people wear pro anorexia bracelets they just have different colored jewelry. ugh!
You really can’t tell what her body looks like from these pics. The shirt covers just about every thing. I like the colors of the plaid, but it is way too oversized on her. I think she looks quite pretty, tho she does look a bit “enhanced” with chemicals - lol. Hope she can overcome that issue, not a good habit.

to kinda throw off people some girls use red hair tyes instead of string to represent there ana bracelets…so that if someone asks about it they can sya its a hair tye..not a bracelet…it still helps remind them to not eat…my friend did the same thing

I think she looks good.She’s thin but she is not as thin as she used to be.And if she was any bigger people would be commenting on how ‘fat’ she is. I personally dont think she will ever fully recover from her eating disorder, because no-one truely does. Also I usually love her fashion choices.. but not this.
