She is lovely. Horrible dress though. Plus, it’s too tight. An extra inch or two of fabric would improve the overall aesthetic.

I don’t think she has a near perfect figure - she’s got a high waisted dress on, which de-emphasizes her thick hips…and in the last picture you can really see that the dress is cutting into her thighs - she’s a pear.
a VERY pretty pear, but to say she has a near-perfect figure isn’t fair, when we see much nicer ones (and healthy, don’t worry, I don’t love the stick-figure bobble-heads)…

she is not my ideal body size…but definitely a healthy looking and beautiful girl! Plus she always looks happy and doesnt go on about weight-loss…blah, blah, blah
I dont really agree with the near-perfect-figure-comment…. but everyone has their own idea of perfection. I think the dress at the bottom is not flattering to her curves/hips. the top is flattering though- even though i hate the dress.
& i do feel her legs are a bit on the muscular side… but atleast its not flabby fat!
Not into short and stubby, so no, she’s not my ideal. I prefer long and lanky (Gisele, Leryn, Angie Harmon) over too curvy anyday.

actually on the last rihanna post you said that she looked “fit” and if I recall we say Jennifer Love Hewitt a while back at about the exact same size and you acted like she looked horrendous…. just sayin’

I think she’s petite and curvy, an enviable combo for me! I’m certainly not in a position to judge, currently being round and pregnant, but she could use a few toning exercises, no? And the dress is a tad snug, I don’t think fabric is supposed to bunch at the hips like that. And the strange discolorations on her leg? That does not look healthy…
I don’t feel she goes easy on black girls however other races have diffrent prefrences partic. blacks and hispanics tend to LIKE being thicker and shapely as most white women esp on her like the bone thin straight up down figure. and jennifer love was flabby rihianna is very toned and alot taller lala

Also,
the reason why there are non-black girls going to get fake tan, breast implants, perms, and Butt implants are because of the standard of beauty set by black women. So IF Rian is being easier on the black girls (I dont think that she is), now you know why.
The top portion of the dress looks good on her. She’s a cute girl, but the dress and shoes are NOT doing her any favours.

angie, not all blacks are geared to the curvy side…maybe african americans in this country (which most by the way are mixed with some other race), but look in east africa and you see tall and thin runway type of women. Black people come in very many different body types…more so than any other ethnicity, so dont generalize

Rian, you don’t have to defend yourself. Most people agree that Beyonce & Rihanna are some of the most beauitful women in Hollywood right now (some may not, but I think most people agree theyr’e beautiful), so its not an “easier on black girls”thing, its “easier on ALL beautiful women”!

PSS- (then back to work)…. However said she could benifit from an inch or two of fabric, I totally agree. She’s a pretty fit woman, but that dress looks too small, and makes her look bigger than she is. And extra inch wider and longer would have elonged her frame.
Although, being short and curvy myself, i still totally think she’s hot. Gives me encouragement… especially her bikini pictures!
If I’d only seen these pics, I wouldn’t have thought she looked that great. The dress looks too tight, and that can look bad no matter how fit or gorgeous you are. But she looked absolutely amazing in her bikini pics, so i think in this case its just the dress thats way too tight.

P.S I don’t care for the dress at all but she is beautiful. Anyone who says differently is crazy. Who cares if she has hips and thighs? They aren’t to big at all. That is what makes her sexy, women aren’t suppose to look like 12 year old boys. Marilyn Monroe was WHITE (LALA) and was very curvy and was the sex symbol of her time. Still is considered one of the sexiest women to ever hit hollywood.
She has a nice feminine body, but she wears the worst clothes for it…sometimes too clingy highlights all the negatives.

Wow, heated opinions today… But, you know what, I am into curvy figures, so in my opinion -everyone has one, right?- she has a near perfect body for her type, yes she is short and has curves and that works for her, just like the loong legs and super pale skin work for Agyness Deyn, that’s her body type and I think she looks good and comfortable with her body.
The issue is that some people have problems accepting that there are different body types and different ways of being beautiful, wich by the way is terrible because if -in their opinion- only Gysele Bundchen has the ideal beautiful body then it’s very possible that the image they have of themselves is not flattering at all.
Her legs are chunkier than I’d like mine to be, but with such a pretty face, I wouldn’t mind looking like her.

You guys are so hard on ALL the ladies. I read some of the comments sometimes and I am deeply saddened at how spitefully and roughly these young, beautiful and talented women are torn apart. We should all be striving for healthy, unique bodies. Just because her body isn’t Giselle’s, doesn’t mean the girl doesn’t have it going on. I worked at bebe for a while and I know that dress has a slim cut that few can successfully pull off and she TOTALLY does. To top it off, I’d guess she’s a a 2 or a 4 at the MOST in bebe dresses.

So then you don’t have a butt? ALL I was saying is that no matter how thin we are, we all have that Butt. We are not going to be flat assed like most supermodels out there, look at Naomi Campbell. She is as thin as she can get and still has a voluptous Butt.

So what, she is short! She looks great, and if you look at her bikini photos she has a body to die for. Abs, and not an ounce of fat. Women should be curvy! As well as healthy, and toned. Skin and bones is not cute, and there is NOTHING wrong with having muscular, athletic legs. It’s not like they are chubby, they are pure muscle. People with muscular legs or “thick” which seems to be the less tactful description for bigger and strong theses days, should not feel self conscious. Not everyones body is capable or meant to have twigs as legs, nor is that healthy or appealing if you aren’t naturally built that way.

I’m tired of the fact that most people from europe need to deal with the fact that ethnic women tend to be bottom heavy, and yes! we love it! I do! I went to london and couldn’t believe how thin some females were! it was like a nation of little boys walking around! but France was the worse! italians love curves!I think her body is perfect! Why would I want to look like an olsen twin!

Her calves are a bit too muscular for my liking and it seems like she’s got a tan and her skin is peeling on her legs. Her feet are scare me a bit.
Overall, her body doesn’t look bad. She is tiny and looks good. Her body suits her.
