she is beautiful, and i love see supermodel post like this.. as in everyday life, because it reminds me that no one always looks like those pics in the magazine. she’s obviously still beautiful, just.. you know.. in a more natural, actually phisical possible sort of way.

She looks good, IMO. She has a bigger butt than most models…but she is slim and pretty.

I think she looks ok, its just a casual look. Although i do have to say that i do not like those shoes or that jacket at all, the jacket reminds me of Michael Jackson for some reason, and those shoes are so blah looking.

Aww, c’mon, the shoes aren’t THAT bad. I agree that she looks good here, cute casual, day-to-day natural. I can easily imagine her looking absolutely awesome and gorgeous on a shoot or on the catwalk with full make up and styling. I would be happy to look like her.

She looks like she’s dressing very English to me. Black skinnies, black flats, Ray Ban wayfarers, and open cropped leather jacket is all the rage here. I’m not sure where you’re from Sanna, but in England you can get that jacket at Dorothy Perkins for as little as 20 pounds.
I like her style, mine is the same. How can you all hate the shoes? They’re non-descript black flats. She looks great, healthy and tall.

Lin412, agreed. i think a huge step in healing any ed or “body issue” is understanding, acknowledging, accepting that women’s bodies are all unique and all beautiful regardless and in spite of cellulite or thighs touching or really, any imperfection. until you believe that about women in general, you’ll struggle to believe it about yourself. glad i reached that point 10 years ago.
hope others reach that point soon.

I hope the modeling industry continues to “allow” this look, because it’s waaaaay more attractive than the Gisele look, in my opinion. Bar looks like a soft, slim, fit woman, not a straight up and down giraffe.
Also: she just got the Sport Illustrated swimsuit cover, right? So, she’s doing something right. Then again, it’s always the curvier models (Tyra Banks, etc) who get asked to do the swimsuit issue.

Have seen more FLATTERING pics of Bar…but overall I think that she is very beautiful…and yes, it is TOTALLY WONDERFUL that Bar is thin/slim but has a few little curves. She is by no means in the “average-OR-chubby or chunky look”. Am so tired of seeing these bony models (with all of their bones practically sticking through their flesh) who look like they wear a size negative triple SIZE 0 clothing. Love Bar’s look much more than Gisele B. Bar is a very gorgeous young woman and it’s sad that more of these emaciated looking stick models don’t take a cue from Bar !!!!

Bar is NOT a supermodel. She’s a Sports Illustrated/swimwear/lingerie girl which is really different from a model who works for the fashion industry. She could never be on the runway with legs like that.

She’s not a runway/fashion model, so she doesn’t look like your average model. She’s done Swimsuit Illustrated and some lingerie work as far as I know, to model swimwear and lingerie you have to have some curves.
Okay, so she’s not “model-thin” and her legs are chunky compared to someone like Gisele, but she’s very pretty and has a great body that’s more suited for Playboy than Vogue.
And yes, I think she looks good here face-wise even without much makeup. Good outfit too, very casual and effortless.

IMO Bar and Doutzen are the only few models who have real curves… I like them both especially the oh so pretty and humble Doutzy.

She’s just big boned. Look how large her wrists are (on the first picture). That’s why she looks better without clothes than with. The clothes create an appear of chunkiness, while underneath them she is not flabby and is quite shapely. It’s all about your bone structure.

I don’t have anything against Bar, but i think she’s not a supermodel. A topmodel maybe, but again she had/has never worked for any highfashion or real runway works.

I think Greeenbird is crazy. These girls have gorgeous bodies. Doutzen does double jumprope routines with a world champ ex-boxer and can beat all the guys. Bar is gorgeous and not a stick, just gorgeous and with curves. As real women should be. Your face should look that good, for you to be so darn harsh with everyone who isn’t skeletal. I’ll take curves and a face to die for anyday.

Never thought I would be able to say a supermodel’s body is similar to my own…I’m 5′6″ 125 lbs. and my figure closely resembles hers. I agree with Kianna, that Bar’s look is much better than the emaciated-type models.

My husband is in the industry and Jennifer Connely was the most disgusting looking girl I have ever seen, just bone and skin, then I saw Ripa. wow. No thank you! Slim and fit are great, but Doutzen has gorgeous legs and so does Bar. Plus faces to die for.

Give me Doutzen or Adriana anytime cause those topmodels are the best examples for having a healthy/curvy body. Besides those two wouldn’t be the top 4/5 highest paid models in the world if not for their amazing bodies and beauty.

I stand by what I say. I have seen her SI cover. With the wardrobe people, hair and make-up people, professional photographer AND special lighting people she was only able to pull off an average so-so looking SI cover because Bar herself is average.
I may be jaded because I live in Southern California, better looking blonds are a dime a dozen.
