Yeah she’s gained weight, but not in a good way. She has what I call “African baby bloat.” And her clothes are horrible, she can afford the best so I don’t get why she buys horrid clothes! Her face looks much better now though with the extra weight.

Her stomach is most likely distended because of liver damage. In my line of work we come across many alcoholics and drug users with distended stomachs because of liver disease.
She seems to eat more when in St Lucia. Because she is so tiny, it just seems to sit in her belly area, leaving her to appear bloated. She will look better once the bulk starts to fill out the rest of her body.

I would venture to guess that this woman has more demons than most. She’s obviously using unhealthy substances (Alcohol and other drugs and is unable to turn her life around. Her abdomen is really swollen and she looks as if she could collapse and die any minute.
Such a waste of an awesome talent. Please get help for your life-threatening addiction.

Look; she’s totally wrecked her metabolism, that’s why she looks this way. She goes to England, uses meth and whatever, and the result is a very ’skinny’ emaciated look. Her body gets used to being on this stuff, and having a very high metabolic rate as a result. The problem is when she tries to get off of it (at St. Lucia). Her metabolism isn’t working very well at all, and any food she eats just gets stored right away, and voila, she has the bloated belly. She got a pretty good one the last time she was in St. Lucia, but then she went back to England, where she used again, and lost it. Now she’s regaining it all back. Best bet: don’t get into abusing meth.
Stay off the drugs, kids. Stay OFF the DRUGS.

Gosh, her face looks pretty in some of those pictures. She doesn’t have any waist at all, probably a flat bum too. She reminds me of the photos of starving children with the all the thinness yet a big belly. What’s up with that?

she’s not thin at all???? Mel, you really ought to get your eyes checked out. People care for Amy Winehouse because she’s one of the most talented songwriters there are! Her last album was released two years ago, not sure in what time zone you live that two years count as forever.
Wake up people!! Not everyone has that “perfect” hourglass shape. Some,like Amy, are naturally skinny and gain all the weight in their midsection. Trust me, it’s possible to have a body like that even when you have normal eating habits.Unfortunately I know what I’m talking about. However, I refuse to believe I’m the most disgusting looking person in the world bcause of that.
Bless this one. I want her to make more music.

for me she looks like she has an eating disorder or the bloated belly is just there because she probably has such erratic eating behaviour (because of the drugs and stuff she probably eats very little so when she does eat it makes her all bloated)

Every time I see her I just want to cry. She has obviously damaged not only her body but her brain on drugs because she used to have great style and now it seems like she just picks up whatevers on the floor to wear.
