Is it my imagination, or has some of her previously lost weight come back? It looks like she may have gained a little in her hips and leg area…

first? oh. anyway, Mischa Barton always looks like she’s interested in selling you drugs.
She lost her previous weight through starving herself clearly, and when you do that the moment you eat something or try to eat “Healthy” your body holds on to it to be ready for the Starvation again. Needless to say she is going to get a lot bigger a lot quicker.

It’s hard to tell because she is a typical pear shape and looks completely different depending on what her clothes are revealing. Her face looks gaunt, but she does have some decent size hips/thighs. Either way, she doesn’t look underweight.

She looked so much better on the O.C. – so fresh and pretty. Now she looks bad. I know she was young then but she can grow older w/o becoming trashy.
Unfortunately, her majorly pear body doesn’t look good with excess weight – it looks very bottom-heavy and unflattering.
Her weight still looks good (I like how she has curvy lower body) but the dark red/brown hair makes her look sickly and washed out. Much better as a blonde!
Two things. She was in India, and then in France where women don’t get fat.
She is in Hollywood now, and she is up for a part where she plays a model—but they told her if she wants the part—she has to gain back some weight. Tough assignment, but she seems to be handling it. She looks good.
I honestly like her outfit.
I heard that the producers of the show she’s working on told her that she was getting too skinny and they wanted her to gain a bit to look healthier. Maybe that’s why.

i wouldn’t consider her overweight by any means: her face is not bloated and her upper body appears to be normal; she is a typical pear shape and, judging from her face and torso, this is probably a healthy, natural weight for her.
she looks so trashy in these photos. I was heard she was told to gain weight for a tv role… if that’s the case than that would account for her putting some weight back on. her body is fine, but her outfit/hair/makeup are just unattractive
She probably did gain it back because she seemed to starve herself. And all the drinking she is supposedly doing probably isn’t helping cuz alcohol has so many calories.

she definitely didn’t lose all that weight naturally so is prob gaining quickly, but i really think a lot of it with this girl is what outfit she’s wearing and what angle you’re looking at her from. she’s prob only gained 5 lbs but it looks like she’s gained 10.

Even if she was up for a role, there are healthier ways to put on weight than to just inhale burgers. It looks like she inhaled burgers and it went to her hips.
This girl is just not at all appealing. She is not pretty and looks old and washed out for her age. Her 15 minutes is definitely up.
Haircolor and outfit just dont suit her at all.

Those pants definitely don’t help, but I still think she looks gorgeous. People, it IS harder to lose weight (or even maintain) when you get older. I was proud of myself for having a BMI in the mid 17s in high school with minimal effort. Now, in college (same age as Mischa, I believe), I have to work really really hard to maintain a BMI in the high 18s/low 19s. The moral of the story: it’s not because of sheer laziness that she’s not the same size as in her OC days. It must be frustrated to constantly be compared to your teenage size.

You are right. I think she looked skinner before because she was wearing dresses that covered her hips. Anyways this is a very bad photo of her legs, which I admired during her skinny days. Not saying she isn’t skinny just her SKINNIER days.

Teenager on OC–105-112. First year after leaving show–115-120. Next couple of years—125 with occasional binges into the 130 or more area, but mostly 125, not skinny in the thigh area.
Loss down to 105—gained back to 110-112. Close to her best weight. She will gain or lose if it helps her get the job. She needs to be careful how she does that.
I am just guessing, but it is based on what has been written from time to time. She said she wanted to weigh more than 110. But she did not enjoy reading about how fat she was getting.

Yay, she’s looking a lil better! The weight gain was to her benefit– her eyes are starting to have that spark again, and her face looks rounder and healthier to me. I love her new hair color, I think it suits her well! She looks much better overall, and I hope she doesn’t lose the weight again. She was meant to have curves.
I hate that black makeup she always wears. It makes her eyes huge in a bad way and all lopsided or something. She would look so much prettier with less on.
I can’t believe the amount of people that are saying she looks fat and hideous! What is wrong with you people, I don’t think I have ever seen a photo of Mischa where she didn’t look amazing. She is SO GODDAMN HOT! She has a naturally beautiful face and a figure that is slim with a natural healthy curve to her hips, butt and thighs. I always look foward to seeing her outfits because she always brings a little originality to them. I honestly don’t know where all the criticism of her is coming from. And seriously, who doesn’t enjoy a few drugs now and then? Chill out, out of all the celebrities featured on this site, I would say she seems the coolest.

that being said, her previou weightloss was definitely due to partying and not eating…she’s just come back and probably eaten normally and her metabolism hasn’t known how to cope.

This girl can never win can she. When she was on the OC she was too skinny, then she had fat legs, then she was too skinny, and now she gains a couple and she’s fat again? I think her weight is fine. She looks gorgeous on the cover of UK cosmo this month, and I don’t particularly like her style but she is into the whole “hipster” scene so let her be!
It’s those awful freakin’ pants! Why does anyone wear those. They make anyone look fat unless they’re anorexic and even then they’re still ugly.

i love mischa since the oc days…although she’s way too skinny there..i think you she still looks gorgeous even added some pounds…realy love her face and sense of style.
I don’t think she’s gained. I saw few pics from the same day (daytime, other outfit) and she looked nice, healthy and fresh. The new color of her hair looked much better on a sunlight.
And I must say that I never look good when I’m drunk, or even taken abit of alcohol. And still I’m not on drugs..

However, though maybe this is not the case, I noticed many persons gain and lose weight VERY easily. Think that, in years of binge eating disorder and anorexic habits, my biggest fluctuation has been 7 kg (15 lbs)!
Yeah, Mischa, I think, has a nice bod even having a little weight on her thighs. Real girls should have meat on their bodies, not stick thin. On Mischa’s case, it must be the jeans that made her thighs look bigger. But I think it’s nice. At least not having Paris’ nor Linds’ stick thin legs. They’re horrible!

People make their own choices and that’s the way it should be.

I never thought it looked like she lost THAT much weight. I mean she obviously lost some, but I don’t think it was a HUGE amount. She probably just didn’t eat for a week or something. I think she is just a wannabe loser, with no career or talent.
