Love the Caribbean but St Lucia, not so much. It seems to be a better place for her than Blighty though.
She does look REALLY unhealthy and skinny here. Her stomach is bloated noticabley too because of how skinny she is.
It’s sad how unhealthy she is. And it shows how devastating drug addiction can be. She is so talented, it’s a shame she’ll never be able to live up to that talent.

Why does everyone feel sorry for her? If you want to help someone who has issues and is dirty, go to your local street corner or homeless shelter. Cause that’s what she is.

what bothers me it is her bloated belly. if she did not have the big belly her body would be fine.
Drugs are for fun, cancer not so much, there is no comparison. If you have an addictive personality don’t do drugs alcohol or whatever, but cancer is not a choice, drugs are.
She’s an admitted bulimic, on top of being an Alcoholic/drug addict. That’s what I call a lethal combination. Death is likely from some sort of complication. Like so many other famous singers before her, she won’t live much longer at the rate she is going.

sorry you can’t compare addiction to cancer. yes, they are both diseases but ultimately, the addict is resposnible for their choices. No one should enable Amy Winehouse who is just pathetic and a waste. She was given a huge opportunity that many people just as talented as she is would love to have.
It looks like she has the beginnings of Kwashiokor – a protein deficiaecy resulting in a bloated stomach. Usually affects people in countries in Famin.

When you are an addict you lose yourself and you become the drug. I feel terrible for her, she truly does have an incredible voice.. I think she does look healthier then before

She is thin, but not the thinnest we have seen her. She has a bit of belly bloat. This is probably accentuated by the fact that the rest of her body is so small.

Addiction is a disease like heart disease is a disease. You don’t yell at someone after having a heart attack or stroke, even though the majority of heart attacks/strokes are 100 percent preventable.
For some reason the American public have decided to bring flowers to the bedsides of those whose lifestyles have resulted in cardiac failure, just like they would to smokers who end up as cancer patients. But addicts are still frowned at once their problem spirals out of control. Being addicted to heroin or cocaine is 10000 times harder to stop than just cutting out red meat or cigarettes. So why no sympathy for her? Just because she has money and fame doesn’t mean she isn’t still a human being, vulnerable to substances that can make you extremely ill in the worst way both when you’re attempting to quit (heroin withdrawl is a bitch, like the worst flu you’ll ever get), AND while you’re using. Nobody gives up their fame, talent, family and fortune for nothing.
Oh, ugh, and I was just thinking about what I was going to eat for dinner, I’d better wait a few minutes now….
She looks horrible. She needs an anti-bacterial spray down. Then she can go back to rehab for the next few years.

I feel for her on the bulimia thing. It’s a hard thing to deal with. The drugs, I don’t understand. Never got into ‘em. What else I don’t understand is why she makes SO much money but yet can’t seem to put a decent outfit together. I mean, she would look amazing if she put some effort into it.
There are celebs on this site much skinnier than she is. She just looks bad. She looks sick. I hope she’s working on herself!! I love her voice and music!

I feel so bad for her. It is obvious that the distended stomach is a sign of malnutrition. Addictions are so hard to overcome, but I don’t think that her publicists saying periodically that she is being treated for dehydration, etc. is helpful. She needs lots of help and support.
No offence to anyone who does drugs, but as a former heroin addict myself I have heard the “addiction is a disease” speel a million times and 100% do NOT agree. Becoming dependent on something, no matter how long, doesnt mean its a disease, its a lifestyle choice. You can CHOOSE not to do the drug. You can choose to go through hell to get clean. You can’t just choose to stop having a disease. And anyone can choose to stop doing drugs, its just about strength and willpower. My ex constantly told me about how it was a disease every time I told him he should get help and get off drugs, its just an excuse.

She is really sick. I mean I hate to say it, but I have little hope she will ever return to her former self. Its been too long, and she seems to far gone. She seems to have no desire to clean herself up and get healthy. She just wants to live her unhealthy life, whatever that involves. Its depressing to see such a talented young woman slowly dig her own grave like this

u can choose to take drugs agreed but have u ever asked urself where the addiction is coming from. I heard she suffered from depression. I fight depression myself and i abused drugs to feel like a human being. It didnt make me happy but it was easier to deal with the depression for a while. Im clean now because i know that it was the wrong way and im thankful that my family helped me through. I wish amy would overcome her addictions cuz shes a great singer

yes Amy Winhouse is a drug addict, thats a fact but why does you people just keep on talking trash, why dont you try to look up forward and see that she is fighting to quit her addiction and she is doing so much better now. To fight a addiction is the hardest thing an human being can go through, mentaly and physicaly.
It put a smile on my face to see her down there relaxed and having fun. Her body doesnt look good at all because she was always starving and she almost doesnt have any muscles but well she can always work on it, hit a gym, whatever.
I guess the most important thing for her right now is feel better mentaly and become clean. Anything else can be done later.
I rather see her on the beach lookin healthier but with a cigarette in her hand than to see here somewhere out there in london streets totally messed up and doing drugs.

LOL! lets be real people! she’s come a long way compared to where she was a year ago. She’s a good 15 pounds larger and I’m glad she got away from all the chaos. She does have the face and stomach of a drug case, it’s going to take years for her to look normal. She needs to eat healthy and get on her vitamins and minerals big time. Good luck! Love her voice!

Like others who have posted, HOW LONG is Amy going to be in St. Lucia ?? She’s been there for quite a long while now. Her body is just…don’t really have the right words. She still looks thin except in her tummy which is so overly bloated. I know that malnutrition can contribute to that…but sometimes when recovering from an E.D., when a person is “re-feeding” the body …that can also account for a great deal of bloatiness. It takes AWHILE for a person’s body to get back into “synch”…after a long time of dealing with an E.D. Amy also has the drugs/alcohol issues too so that could attribute to the bloat? Have to wonder…is this the way we’ll see LiLo in the next couple of years ??
She does look HORRIBLY skinny, but there is something about her face.. she is starting to look human again. It is a glimmer of hope and I hope she makes it happen!

yes you can choose to quit drugs but it’s not that black and white.(as many have fortunately pointed out already)mind is a powerful thing when it’s telling you to keep destroying yourself. also when you feel like crap you don’t think straight and just say to yourself “what’s so bad about it, i just want to feel something and nothing” that said, she seems to be doing better maybe. i’m hoping for new music, she’s so great as an artist but right now i don’t see how she could even pull off one gig, she’s too much of a mess, not in the same line w/ the basic celebs that have some tiny problems that R fun to poke on.
