Leighton revealed in the June 2009 issue of Cosmopolitan that she “doesn’t believe in dieting” and that she is very comfortable with her body.
OK is anyone else wondering what on earth she is wearing? I don’t know if it’s the outfit or not, but it almost looks like she has gained some weight recently… what do YOU all think?

If I got to go I’d dress in such odd clothes as to put Ziggy Stardust to blame – I say go to this girl (not a clue who she is though..!? She’s cute looking but looks uncomfortabkle in the crazy outfit…)

leighton needs to hire the costumer for gossip girl as her stylist. she looks so much better on the show then i’ve ever seen her look at any event. like the lighter hair, amazing body- this outfit does absolutely nothing for her.
I actually kind of like the outfit. I’m sure partly because she looks so comfortable and happy in it. The pockets are good.
Pretty girl, but it’s easy to look good in your 20’s.

I love this girl! She is so healthy and gorgeous. If she’s 5′4 (what I’ve read) than I would guess she is a healthy 115 pounds. She looks awesome!
I kind of love this outfit for the event. I hate the silly shoes and not fond of the orange at the calf, but the rest is fun, quirky and interesting. I like when fashion isn’t so “safe”. She looks a bit Gwen Stefani in the face with her new blonde locks.
Well, the outfit is horrible, but she’s obviously having fun with it. I think her weight is great. I think she is slender but realistic. Bravo to her!
I have NO idea what she is wearing but she has always been slim and trim. Sometimes she goes up in weight a tiny bit, but I think she is gorgeous no matter what.
Lovely Louis Vuitton dress, but she shouldn’t have worn the leggings and also her hair style is wrong.
I don’t think she gained any. If you imagine that hunk of fabric around her waist to be gone, she looks the same.
OH DEAR is all I’m going to say. (rihanna’s outfit at the same event was about as dreadful as that one)

She is cute in a girl next door kind of way and has provided much amusement with this one, which is always fun. Nice smile too.
I actually like all of the pieces of the outfit individually. Together, they make me cry, but I guess they were appropriate for the event.
oh i love love love the outfit, i think it suits her skin tone, i’m a succer for colours, it’s the first thing i think when i’m putting together my tenue. i still have hard time believing she’s a natural blonde like many have said. Or, i don’t question what they’re saying but she just doesn’t look like it to me. With that hair and make up she actually reminds me a bit of Whitney Port from the Hills, or some photo i’ve seen from her.

oh and i don’t think she’s gained, au contraire, she looks slim now, where as in the past few months, weeks, idk, she, to me, has looke a bit round/soft in the show..
the dress is pretty minus the ‘leggings’.
OMG that dress!! being blonde does NOT suit her at all! Her body always looks great to me though, but in these pictures she doesn’t look all that great…ack.

Well, her face, hair and makeup are lovely, as is her body shape/weight. The outfit is a mess. I think I could deal with it if it was just the top (as a dress) with nice black heels. It’s the pants that kill it.
It’s really hard to concentrate on her body, that outfit is more than distracting. From what I can tell, she looks good though. I’m a fan of her body – toned and curvy.
I actually think she was looking so much more better as brunette. Hard to say anything about the body, I mean, the dress just takes all attension..

i believe that the dress is by talbot & runhof, i dont know why.. the style of it looks like some dresses from a collection from 2 years ago or so. but i dont think she would be wearing it then. whatever, it doesnt look good at all, i wonder why people who got the money to employ a stylist dress so awful
ok that dress would be cute if it didn’t have those big huge puffy sleeves, and those horrid leggings…and different shoes obviously.
Oh, I absolutely love her but this is quite awful. She looks a lot better with brown hair (and Blair can’t have blond hair!), and those leggings make her legs appear a lot bigger than they are.

The dress could be pretty, minus the pompoms and leggings. As for Leighton, I’ve always thought she was at a lovely weight and that she looks fit and healthy! A true role model. But I just wish she hadn’t dyed her hair. It was nicest season 1 of Gossip Girl, dark. So much more classy on her!

Ha, her and VB are wearing slightly similar shoes, except Leightons do have small white balls than VB’s. Nah, she’s always looked like this, however I do not like her with blond hair! She reminds me of Shirley Temple!

she looks ridiculous. the blonde hair is for the movie The Roommate (it’s like Single White Female set in college, she’ll dye it back to brown when her crazy character tries to become more like her brunette roommate) so that’s forgivable, but the OUTFIT wtf? the print would be interesting without the leggings or poof-martian sleeves, but as is it’s a big fat FAIL.

seriously people. the event is called “Costume Insititute Gala”. Its full of models and the elite fashion pack. its a chance to be fun and fashion forward. man, some of you have no idea do you? Fashion is art.

yeah i don’t what the f345764@ happenned to her cheekbones so i guess she’s gained a little although may i say the last episodes from season 2 she looked thinner…
maybe it’s just the unflattering crazy prints that are making her look bigger than usual? i don’t know, i can’t remember what she looked like before!
