I’ve always hated the Gilmore Girls, never got into it, but I’ve always thought she was GORGEOUS. Her body is alright, looks average to me, but her eyes are the most beautiful shade of blue. She looks super young too.
She looks so healthy..SO beautiful. She has such a babyface, she will age very well. I mean she looks so beautiful still and it’s been years since she’s been on Gilmore Girls! So natural looking..and her body looks great! Nothing fake! Lucky Girl!

I was a little upset to read the writing above the photos because to be honest my figure looks similar to this girl’s, and I do consider myself to be slim. I am actually a little bit upset now. I don’t want to have a go at anyone though. By the way, this site is addictive! (I know it is warped but for most people ‘healthy’ means not just ‘not skinny’ but also something else. i.e. the opposite of thin.

I don’t know how tall she is but she has a curvy (vs. boyish) figure and is WAAAAY thinner than the average American woman (and probably 98% of this site’s visitors lol) Her hips are wider buther waist (by guesstimate) can’t be bigger than 26 inches– which would put her at a 4 dress, right?

@ Jade…totally agree with you that Alexis is absolutely GORGEOUS. And, Alexis, (IMO) “wins hands down” having the most beautiful blue eyes of any ONE ELSE (of the celebs)& for her face and definitely her unique blue eyes !!! ( Also.. @ Jade,I never really liked the Gilmore Girls all that much, either. I was surprised that Gilmore Girls aired on TV for such a long time.) Also AGREE w/peep & guest…Alexis (IMO) is very thin/skinny…but NOT SKELETAL or pin thin. She has to be thin to pull off that dress (which is so form fitting and portrays her cleavage.) She is not too chesty at all, either…her body is thin and well-proportioned.

Actually healthy sized in America is not her. She is probably considered “thin” over “normal”. The majority of America is overweight, therefor who knows where we stand on “healthy” anymore.

She is still thin, probably a size 4 or 6 depending on her height, she’s just not underweight (as many celebs are). Horrible dress, IMO but she is pretty.
The reason people are complaining is because “healthy” on this site seems to be code for not thin enough. This site attracts and facilitates visitors with warped body image issues. It seems to be getting worse too. Just being honest.
Her knees look a little pudgy but some people just have legs like that. It’s probably hard nowadays since the trend is to have super skinny knobby knees that look like a little kid’s. when she was younger she was extremely skinny. I think her curves are glamorous, I mean look at those hips!!
For me “healthy” means slim and fit as opposed to “skeletal” – and is definitely NOT a euphemism for “tub of lard” as some people apparently define it.

She looks beautiful and PERFECT! For those who said she used to be skinny it’s because she WAS a teenager. NOW she’s a WOMAN, and women are more than straight up and down.
She’s so stunning and she looks healthy and slim! I don’t think healthy means overweight or anything, otherwise she wouldn’t be called HEALTHY which means you’re in good condition. Oh well. I would love to have her body! I would love to see more ‘healthy’ bodies on this site as well, the Tori Spellings of the world do get rather boring.
Oh how I miss Rory Gilmore! Absolutely one of the best and well written shows I have ever seen. Anywho though, I think she looks great. I do see where some people could point out flaws but I’m biased and just love her and her perfect porcelain skin.

In regard to her size, there is a link on The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2 website to a site that sells props and costumes from the movie, and the outfits worn by Alexis Bledel are mostly size 2 (I think one was size 1/2). So I guess that’s the size she was when the movie was filmed at least.

JC-she’s actually around 5′4”, 5′5”, I’ve seen pics of her standing next to America Ferrera, both in heels, and she’s only a few inches taller. A lot of actresses lie about their height.
Elizabeth–IMDB has her at 5′7. IMDB is usually pretty accurate. Also, she started her career modeling, and I doubt that would have happened if she was 5′4.

Yeah, she’s around 5′7″. ‘Cause Lauren Graham is about 5′9″, and when they stood next to each other on “Gilmore Girls,” Alexis Bledel wasn’t too much shorter. To me, Alexis Bledel is one of the most beautiful actresses out there. Anyone who thinks she’s fat or thick or pudgy or whatever just because her legs don’t look like those of a 12-year-old boy is completely whacked out. Or perhaps 12 or 13 years old. When you get to be a woman you will realize how attractive it is to have some shape, some meat on you. Skin and bones are for druggies and the enablers who love them.
She is way shorter than 5′7! I’d say prob 5′4″ at MOST. We were shopping at the same store one day and she is pretty tiny! I’m almost 5′9, and I was quite a bit taller than she was. She does look curvier than in her GG days, but I think she looks awesome! Bangin curves, nice to see.

I agree with saintdevil. When i use the word healthy, it means not too skinny & not too fat. Like someone who doesn’t live a life of food deprivation, yet is healthy & takes care of herself.

She looks like my size, 0-2 and about 5′4″, and kind of pear-shaped. You’d be surprised how “big” people who are 5′4″ and under look even when wearing a supposedly “tiny” size! No way is she a 4-6! She would look a LOT heavier!

I love her. Regarding the poll, I know that I come here to see healthy bodies which inspire me while I’m on a weightloss kick. Excessively skinny or overweight celebrities don’t do that. That’s just my personal preference however.

Alexis is beautiful! Her weight actually did fluctuate some during the whole run of the show. At first she was just average sized, then she got really thin for awhile, then right around the mid-college seasons she was actually almost voluptuous for awhile. Then she sort of evened out to about what she is now. But no matter what size she always looked amazing! I love her. (I am a HUGE fan of Gilmore Girls) Have to say, though, that dress is just not doing much for her legs. It is cut at just the wrong length, a little longer or a little shorter and it would have looked better.

I wish people stopped with the “12 year old boy”. I bet the people who keep on going about with were chunkers already at 12….Before all the hormones in meat and dairy 12 year old boys and girls had pretty much the same shape. -She’s in a new movie coming out, The Post Grad Survival Guide, which is why we’re seeing more of her at public events
-She is 5′7″. Like Ruby said, look at her next to Lauren Graham and Milo Ventimiglia.
-She’s definitely gained some since the Sisterhood 2, when she was probably a size 2, but I think she looks about the same as season 7 of Gilmore Girls when she was about a size.. 4 perhaps?
-Not to sound pretentious, but for all of you who say you don’t like Gilmore Girls, I think you may just not understand the jokes/references made on the show. I’ve seen every episode a million times and it is by far the funniest and wittiest show to have recently been on television

So true! It’s like “healthy” (the thing I want most for myself so I feel good, look good and live a nice long life) is a BAD word here to some of you! On seeing the poll I thought, “Who would vote NO to seeing ‘healthy-sized’ celebrities??” Whatever THAT means now. (?) Since when did being healthy rule out being thin?? Please, let’s not connote “healthy” with something negative!

I´ve never watched GG nor have I ever been a fan of Alexis but she is absolutely radiant and beautiful. We are all different shapes and sizes, and she rocks hers! (Even though I don´t like her dress – it accentuates the hips which makes them look bigger, not the best choice for a pear-shaped woman. Plus there is way too much chest around…)
She looks amazing, she has curves in the right places and not overly so. I think her forehead looks fine, most models have huge foreheads. I like her look =D

Imdb.com always get height listings wrong, so whoever said that imdb.com is accurate you must not be paying attention. Also on Gilmore Girls she is at least three inches shorter (or four) than Lauren Graham in scenes where they share similar footwear. Lauren Graham has said herself that she’s 5′8″ or 5′8.5″ on several occasions. Blake Lively isn’t 5′10″ either she’s 5′8″. Celebrities always lie about how tall they are this is common knowledge.
