Another Anne Hathaway Update

It looks like she has definitely gained a little weight in the past few months, as mentioned (speculatively) in this post… some of you may remember that she had gotten almost scary skinny at one point last summer.
In any case, she looks gorgeous and healthy!

Blah. Color washes here out, hair’s boring and ugly sunglasses. Why does every hollywood would-be star wear that type of band aid sort of dress? Body wise, she can pull it off and she looks better fuller figured.

She looked better in the June 2008 pic, not just size wise but the hair and dress look alot better than this.

yea, she looks like she gained a little, but she’s still pretty. Anyone that can still look decent in Herve Leger is thin, though, in my book.

She was never scary skinny, she got a lot of bad press for it while she weighed a lot more than the normal thin celebrity.
I love her.. so classic looking. She is not as skinny as before, however I think she is still on the ultra slim side for her. That said I think she looks ideal at this weight.
As others said she is very pale, but I love her for bucking the trend and rockin it!
Also, I think she is one of the few young beauties in hollywood that looks possibly better with shorter hair than long hair.

I don’t even need to look at the other comments to know there’ll be ones about how terrible her pale skin looks. I personally actually like it. It’s a change and it suits her features.
I actually loved her hair in Rachel getting married. The sort of blunt D.I.Y cut. I like Anne.

Yeah, she has gained weight, but she looks better like that, more natural. Before when she was getting super thin, she looked so awkward. Anyways, I love anne hathaway, she’s gorgeous.
I think she looks better slimmer, but she has a very womanly proportionate body so the slight amount she has gained doesn’t make her look any worse. I also think the tan versus complete pale-ness might have some effect on how thin she looks.
God, I am so sick of that dress!

First off, I am SO over that dress. Second, while she still looks slim, I think she looked better in June, but that might just be because her dress isn’t very flattering. Something more A line would be better due to her recent weight gain.
She definitely looks a lot better than she did a year ago — that red dress really flatters her figure, though it makes her pale skin stand out more.
i dont like anne at all but her skin is beautiful – dont like her hair or the dress but she is in a limited number of good movies (actually just one!)

You always point out her weight fluctuactions, but I think in that side by side picture she looks EXACTLY THE SAME. She’s never looked too thin. Post those pictures of Avril Lavigne in a bikini, now, THAT is a noticeable weight gain.

I think that Anne looks great in the dress she wore in June 2008 picture (love that style)…HATE that bandage style dress she’s wearing in the June, 2009 pic. She was a bit on the thin side in the June, 2008 pic….but she had to lose weight to be on that movie with Kate Hudson: “BRIDE WARS”! (BTW, Kate looked heavier than her (Kate’s) “norm” weight. Kate is usually more on the thin side. But, in the BRIDE WARS…Kate looked “rounder” & Anne looked quite thin while they were doing that movie). Kate is still carrying some extra weight around even now & the movie has LONG BEEN FILMED and made the movie theaters!

I think that Anne would look just right if she were half-way between her June, 2008 (weight) & her June 2009 weight. However, she looks beautiful in both pictures. Think there was more of a big deal made of her losing weight for BRIDE WARS cause she had been in that GET SMART movie and she was a bit more
“buffed up” and then had to lose to do the BRIDE WARS movie. At about the very same time frame, she was going through that turmoil with her former boy friend (of 3 or 4 years) who was sent to jail for tax evasion or exhortion or something like that…cannot remember all of the details of his imprisonment. That had to be a major stressor for Anne & maybe she lost a bit of weight over the stress of that entire mess. I know I may get flack over this…but I really like Anne…yes, she’s pale…but it is (has been) her “look”. KUDOS to Anne for not succumbing to the vast/great majority of actresses/starlets who over tan (whether it’s spray tanning or tanning on the beach or using tanning beds.) Her skin will be healthier in the long run….like when she hits her 50’s, 60’s, etc. She won’t look shriveled up…like say Donatella Versace and other “older” actresses who seem to look “too much like leather”!

Looks so much better with the lighter makeup. Looks good. She was too thin before. She doesnt look like a clown here like she does with all that makeup.
Her skin is amazing, but I do prefer her look from 2008, not so much the weight but the style. She looks so plain and boring with her hair like this. She looks like the naturally people that are “skinny-fat”.

With her height, she looks more statuesque and regal on the thinner side. But, she was probably hungry and cranky. Speaking of cranky, that dress gets on my nerves.

Well , she was never scarey skinny last year, just skinny, lets be real here. Scarey skinny refers to verge of death gaunt looking skeletons. And that pic of her last year showed some love handles. I like her paleness and hairstyle, but thats about it… And aren’t those dresses susposed to give curves to ” skinny” women, she kinda looks squeezed into it..

“Too White”? Would it be ok to say a black person with dark skin was too black? Would you advise them to bleach their skin? No, thought not – but you want her to stain her skin some ridiculous orange colour, or risk getting skin cancer as she has naturally pale skin which will burn in the sun due to having so little melanin.

Sorry to say she looked better last yr. Tanner and more toned. She is by NO means fat, but when you as so pasty white, you better be working out because untoned + pasty = no good.
