Waaaaay to skinny. She has nice curves when she is a little bigger than this, but some girls go a little overboard with the weight loss after birthing. I think she is bre@st feeding, and that sucked off every ounce of fat on me when I did that with my son.

Do the people who make the “how is she that thin” post-baby comments actually have kids? I am 5′-5″ and 115-118 or so and in seriously two to three weeks I was back to my normal weight after weighing 142 the day I had my daughter. I did not do any exercise other than normal activities and I always have eaten whatever I want. Now I realize that this is not the case with everyone but some people are just like that. I don’t think it means that the person is unhealty or neglecting their child, etc.

@ clo…you are right…Ashlee just had her baby boy (Bronx) in late November, 2008. She went on that same diet (& exercise) plan as Jessica Alba did. Forget the name of the diet…but it begins with “1,2,3 Bran– …something”. She was on the upfronts for the new Melrose Place a week or two back and people were stunned at how skinny she has become. I saw her with the other cast mates and she is totally stick thin. Apparently, she was a size 4 three months after Bronx was born and now is a size “0″! Seeing her on TV (which does add extra lbs)…I’d believe she is a Size 0. She does look VERY PRETTY in these pics…just don’t like the style of jeans she’s wearing. (Maybe she also went on the Nicole Richie diet of eating only chicken broth for weeks/months on end. ha-ha) Ashlee (allegedly) is/has been tight with Nicole asking her questions/getting baby tips and diet tips, too. Who knows, though, for certain ??
At least in that last photo she is almost standing up straight. I guess if your husband is short it’s tempting to develop a permanent slouch. Don’t know what Mary Kate’s excuse is. As for the rest of the ensemble, no comment.

@Liz- I understand that some people have extremely fast metabolisms which allow them to lose baby weight quickly. I don’t think this is the case with Ashley. Remember when she was “punk” and had the “I don’t give a shit attitude”…She was thicker then. I think when she became immersed in Hollywood is when the weight came off….
The glasses, the headband, the jeans, the shoes – she looks like she time-travelled her way here straight from the seventies. It’s good to be inspired by different fashion periods, but it just looks costume-y on her.

i disagree with a lot of you: i love the pants. i have a thing for high waisted bell bottom jeans. and they are pretty in style right now; i know as far as fashion goes the high waisted thing has “faded” but you have to realize it takes a long time for those trends to catch on with the public. for instance: gladiator shoes. those are just now becoming super popular when they were first introduced to the fashion scene like what-a year or so ago? but i have a pair of pants very similar to hers and i love them…in my opinion though, mine are way cuter.
they don’t have those icky pockets or seems running down the front.

@liz- good luck with the next one- i gained 27 lb’s for my first and lost it in no time too, also ate whatever i wanted while pregnant. (many,many blizzards
) i couldn’t believe how fast it came off since everyone always talks about how hard it is to lose the baby weight. However, i put on 33 with my last one and i didn’t eat as out of control as I did the first pregnancy. I had to exercise more to get back down to 120 @5′6. Weight still came off fast- not as fast though. Everyone is different but nursing seriously takes everything out of you. I have to up my calorie intake to keep up. oh to be a celebrity and have others plan/ make your meals for you. must be nice.

Ok, so over this headband nonsense. Jeans are not terrible but why all of the visible belt loops with nothing in them. The top washes her out…too close to her skin tone. Weight is fine! Just like she looked before. She would look better with more tone though. Maybe that is why everyone think she looks too skinny because there is no definition in the arms.
