Beyonce Performs At Madison Square Garden

Her legs do look pretty large (not so much in the last one, but in the first few). Having said that, they’ve always looked large. I don’t think she’s fat or anything. Just shapely and big-boned.

The outfits in the first two pics look like they were designed by the same designer who did the Spice Girls’ costumes for their comeback tour. I think they look as if they intended to make your hips/butt look bigger (who the hell wants hip-padding?). Victoria Beckham is in need of that, but not Beyonce. I don’t think she’s gained weight, she is just air-brushed within an inch of her life in pictures, which is tragic because she is gorgeous and her figure is phenomenal!
Beyonce is beautiful, hot, but the first outfit is very unflattering, give her “flat” boobs, a non proportional small waist and even make her belly looks huge, specialy when she moves!!!
She is gorgeous but this outfit is not helping. Love the dress, I know most are going to say it’s awful, but I think it’s a good dress for a show. Overall, I don’t think she has gained, I think is just a bad outfit.

Yep! Tights for sure, I don’t say she has, but, tights does a great job hiding cellulites.

Tina Turner was talented – Beyonce is well marketed – there is a BIG difference.
I think that if Beyonce was white, she’d get alot more criticism for the way her figure looks. That’s just my opinion. I happen to really like her figure, it’s so womanly.
She looks slightly bigger, but she always looks big to me.
I think the last pic, in the white suit, is the only one that doesn’t have that stupid hip padding. I understand that Beyonce is kinda of avante-garde in her fashion choices, especially on stage, but flattery is still a key point in selecting a wardrobe, and the hip padding just isn’t necessary!
she’s wearing thierry mugler in most of these photos, and that design was from his 80’s line where he put padding on the hip areas of his dresses and bodysuits. I think she looks the same, its just the design
She is a big girl and she has chunky legs but i think she is so beautiful and such an amazing performer!

Beyonce does what she can with her figure. She’ll never have thin legs (but photoshopping them within an inch of their life is the standard fare with her group).
The thinnest she’s ever been was during the ‘crazy in love’ video and she killed herself during that video with a trainer. I think she’s amde the decision that she’ll stay a size 6/8 dress (12 pants) (check ebay) and her curent weight.
this is one of the singers that looks hot and gorgeous no matter how much weight she gains or lose.
no weight gain, just the 1st outfit she’s wearing is horrible and bulky, therefore adding weight. looks good in all the others.
While she’s bigger than a lot of celebrities, she has really nice proportions and generally looks pretty great. But, I hate all of Sasha Fierce nonsense. I can’t believe that she and Jay-Z can fit their egos into the same room.
Even though it’s not a figure I would struive for, she looks hot! Theres something about B that is just amazing! She is also IMHO super beautiful, so a few lbs lost or gained really don’t matter! It is refreshing to see a woman who plunges all her ebergy into her career, rather than focusing on the scale and her salads all the time! I think when someone has a good life then foood and body image won’t always be their forst concern! Good for her, a woman who not only looks happy, but healthy too! Curves in ALL the right places!

I think she looks gorgeous! Her body looks strong but feminine, which is pretty rare. And while her music isn’t exactly groundbreaking, I like putting some of her tunes on my running mix.
Of course she’s gained weight, all that crash dieting and yo yo dieting have probably killed her metabolism. I wouldn’t be surprised is she fluctuated 10lbs or so a week.
i think she has def gained weight recently. and she needs to learn how to dress herself! i can’t wrap my mind around why she always wears so much extra fabric on her hips and wears patterns that make her hips look so much wider, her hips are already huge, so tone it down! geez
there were some clothed pictures of her recently and she did look quite a bit smaller, but maybe it was the photography. She suits being all curvy. If she was all skinny waifish it just wouldn’t be right.

What the hell is up with the first outfit. Already being borderline-fat, she wants to make herself look even worse? I get they are stage costumes but it doesn’t make any sense. Adding more padding to an already padded figure.

I don’t at all find her body, ‘hot’. Shes out of proportion, her thighs are large and chunky, she has a big bottom, not much in the breast department….not something I would want to aspire to look like. There are so many more beautiful bodies out there in Hollywood- or anywhere for that matter.
I used to find the sexiest thing about her was her confidence- but then who knows how REAL that is! If she could swap her body for something better, she would in a heartbeat. She comes across as EXTREMELY tacky sometimes- allowing her skin to be lightened in magazines, wearing blonde wigs or getting blonde highlights….Is she trying to tell us something?! Sad.

I think white women should take body image lessons from black women. White women are much harder on themselves, generally speaking. Black women have a much better attitude about their bodies and don’t seem to feel the need to be a size 0.
Personally, I find it easier to notice weight gain on a smaller, thinner chick than say…a Beyonce type. Her costume is dumb.

Am I the only person who does NOT find her attractive? There is nothing exotic about her. Everything is so cheesy and overdone, and she always plays up the worst parts of her. She needs to tone it down and class it up. I’m so over her. On top of that, her voice, to me, is like nails on a chalkboard. It’s literally hard for me to listen to her music.

all i can say is that people with her type of celebrity status really need to take the time to work out, eat healthy, and make themselves look good.. you can’t just be sitting on your butt eating mcdonald’s and getting fat when you’re a celeb.. it’s your job to make yourself look good, that’s what people pay you for!!!
I think it’s probably just the outfit. Wasn’t there a post about a week ago saying she had lost? And someone had spotted her buying UK Size 8 clothes, which I think is smaller than her usual/former size.

i think she’s gained. you can see it in the arms and the legs. she has a beautiful face and she’s confidant in herself regardless of what she weighs. i like that.
my only beef w/her is that she seems… like a mannequin in interviews, very nice but fake. she never seems to really show her true personality, just says what sounds good in terms of PR.

as for beyonce, not loving her so much here. outfits are not good, legs are looking quite large, especially in the knee area. does anyone seriously wear stockings around like that who is not with child and suffering from swollen veins? why bother unless she has something to hide? i’ll be the first to admit i have some lovely little dimple action on my back side, courtesy of my pregnancies, (at least that’s what i pretend) but i would never wear those things to cover it up. yes, she’s in costume on stage, but give me a break.
So how many personalities does she have? When beyonce returns and sasha goes away I’ll be a fan again.

Her weight fluctuates from time to time & I think that’s normal.She’s just curvacious & always will be. I saw her perform in O2 Dublin & although I’m not a huge fan, her show was great to watch & she gave a great performance. She did quite a bit of dancing. To sing great as she did and dance the same time shows she does look after her fitness. What I liked about her most tho’ was her interaction with the audience. She came across very down to earth. She even sang happy birthday to a guy(it was his b’day) up the front of the stage,kneeled down & gave him a kiss. She ran thro’ an open area & high fived fans at the barriers.Beyonce tickets cost Eur70 while Britney (who also performed in O2 Dublin) charged Eur147 and she lip synced most (if not all) of her songs. Who cares if Beyonce has chunky thighs. Big deal! When you go to a concert, it’s the performance that counts.What a waste of money if people just go to stand at a concert, analyse & scrutinise every centimetre of the artist’s body!!

I think Beyonce’s body is the type that men want to cuddle with and even look it in a bikini. She has the flat abs to carry off even a skimpy bathing suit. I don’t know why everyone’s so hard on her. She has all the womanly attributes that men write songs about. You don’t hear any song’s saying “I like big bellies and I cannot lie.” Or “I like big chunky arms.” but you hear songs about hips, legs and thighs, little waists. People don’t call her curvy because she is black but because she has been that way her whole life. Most of the white people that get called fat on this site were tiny at first then blew up. If Beyonce was a good looking size 0 prior to these pics, people would be calling her fat now. A lot of people made fun of Janet Jackson (black) for gaining weight because she was in such great shape for years. People still don’t see it as big of a deal because when she was younger she was very chubby. Britney Spears was very thin and fit when she arrived on the scene and gained a lot of weight after having 2 kids and 1 million frappachinos. People poked fun at her because we just weren’t used to seeing Britney this way. Same thing happened to Christina Augulera (SP). Race has nothing to do with this so leave it out.

You are all so wrong. She is not large at all. If you see her in person she is curvy yet petite. I would say she’s a size 2-4. She has a tiny waist. She is gorgeous and toned and not at all big or “big boned” as you all like to call her.
