Two New Features On This Website!
June 24th, 2009 by Rian | Filed under Website Info.Hey everyone, I just wanted to quickly share that there are two new features on this website!
Share/Save: If you come across a post you really like on this blog, you can now easily share it with friends. There is a “Share/Save” button at the bottom of every post. Simply hover your mouse over the button and over 100 social site options will come up, including Twitter, Myspace, Facebook, StumbleUpon, etc. Click on whichever social site you want to use and it will easily add it to your page or Twitter.
Rate Posts & Comments: You can now rate posts AND comments. Look for the stars below each post and each comment.

OH NO!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I’m all for the save ‘n share feature but rating the comments will be the DEATH of me!! I can’t stand to get my feelings hurt! This means I can’t saw awful things anymore! I literally panicked when I saw that! Is this your way of getting me to finally shut up!?!?? Oh, help… and I’ve had such fun here.
( (I’m afraid to go over to the forums and see that this exciting new feature is over there as well!) (?)… but I have to… I’m so afraid…
Sorry, I think this rating thing on our comments will make people give excessive importance to what they write, and feel judged. It will cause more fights in my opinion.

I seriously hate rating each other– it’s going to drive many an insecure person like me into an eating disorder! I just like to say things that make myself laugh– it makes me feel better. I don’t want to know what others are thinking about what I say. Quite the opposite, in fact! Oh help…

For those of you who don’t like rating or don’t want to rate anything: don’t rate! You don’t have to. It’s just for fun.
I added the feature due to many requests for it over the past year or so.
I don’t see how fights can break out if nobody knows who is rating…
@person. Calm down. You like to dish it out but can’t handle a bit of criticism. It’s only vote’s from people who don’t have the balls to have an opinion.
Looks like you might have to go back to wood. In stead of the awful things you saw!!! It’s nice to know ’saying’ awful things about others makes you feel good.

Rian, I have never been more serious. I am joking about needing to know the tricks around the system re: moderation, of course, but about the ratings– dead serious. But I’d leave before I let it send me into an eating disorder. Or found it an upsetting place to be. Maybe it will help me become a little more thick-skinned, but ugh… there are so many other practice grounds for that. I’d rather just have fun. And not judge each other. We do enough of that as it is without giving unexplained stars, or withholding them. What if only the deranged people vote? (Well, then maybe I have a chance…)
I’m looking for a way to give 10 stars to Creepy Doll’s comment. (Already trying to cheat my way around… )
Oh man, I’m burning some major calories here.

Well, god help me if by quality of the post you’re talking spelling, typo’s and grammar. I’m f**ked! @person can second that (just kidding person)!
I just have to add that discussing opinions and agreeing/disagreeing with one another, as we do over in the forums, is another story. If I was that afraid of criticism I wouldn’t be posting my opinion on the tattoos thread, for heavens’ sakes. I’m talking about being able to make a silly remark without people scoring it. Saying something harmless and wondering why someone gave me 1 star. But that’s MY problem– I don’t have to participate, and I certainly don’t want to ruin the fun for others here.
Just voicing one opinion here. And in a more dramatic fashion than was necessary, but oh well. Too late. “Ready… Aim… Fire” tends to be my M.O. And to the anticipated “Calm Down” comments forthcoming I’ll give you 5 stars because I agree.

Love the sharing option but not the rating option. I find it childish to rate someone’s comment. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and now we rate them? I thought the reason we were here was about commenting on skinny or not so skinny celebrities?
Now, now Megowwwn, just because the numbers on your scale were through the roof again this a.m. and you’re sick of looking at all that lard it’s no reason to get hostile… although I guess it would be difficult. I’ll give you a break.
