She has lovely legs she should show them off, instead she covers them up with this Woodstock style horrific skirt! I’m not saying she should only wear mini but a better skirt, you can still look casual and stylish but not like this.

I don’t find any of the new supermodels very pretty–with the exception of Doutzen. They all have amazing bodies, but supermodels used to have that and gorgeous faces–Cindy, Claudia, Helena, etc. Is it just me? Judging from the comments, it probably is.

She’s absolutely gorgeous. I think she might be the prettiest supermodel around actually, but Adriana and Miranda are up there as well. Alessandra’s jaw/chin area looks manly in some pics, but then again who takes perfect pics all the time? And love her body even though she looks a bit too thin at times.

shes so skinny! i just got the VS catalog in the mail today, and i always envy her, as well as the other girls! so toned and such great bodies, and it makes me want all the clothes, too! lol, so i guess they really are good models!
Alessandra looks so, so thin…but she has always been pretty thin (as a V.S. model). Think that she has a natural affinity to be on the thin/lean side. I think that she has lost all her baby weight and THEN SOME! I know I may get flack for this…but I kind of like her casual looking long top and long skirt with her low-riding belt. Kind of reminds me of Nicole Richie’s longer dreses she has worn more often (during and after her 1st baby) and now again while expecting her 2nd baby in August. I think, though that Alessandra & Miranda Kerr are my 2 TOP FAVORITES (V.S. models)!
That outfit is way too 2002. She is a gorgeous lady and has great features, with a kick ass body… the end.

yes of course 125 at 5′10 is slim, definately. but alessandra is more than slim, haha she is thin bordering on skinny! (but she is toned so it works out quite loverly)

You’re not alone with your thoughts about 90’s supermodels!
Most models today are borderline anorexic(definitely don’t believe they’re naturally skinny!they starve themselves most of time period.) and weird looking, not classically and elegantly beautiful!
With the exception of course of Doutzen(though i’m not a big fan)whose looks and figure are like those of the 90’s supers! Gotta admire the girl for doing both HF and commercial, i think only few models are like that or have the opportunity to that.
I’d say he is 125, she is very well toned, not just skinny and muscle accounts for some weight.

Cossey, I’m with you on the censorship bar. I got deleted too, and I took it somewhat personally. The other day some commenters engaged in a feeding frenzy over some starlet and I merely stated that women are sometimes so hard on themselves and others, striving after a body image imposed upon us by the fashion industry. In this industry gay man play a big part, and they usually go for models with bodies like teenage boys (small hips, small breast). So if we obide by the rules of Vogue and Elle, we are basically worshiping false gods. In other words: don’t stop eating and enjoy your curves. They are what make you feminin.

I wish this anorexic trend in fashion would reverse. It’s so unnatural for grown women to have such a low percentage of body fat.

NO, it is not just you. I think a lot of the newly discovered supermodels are crammed into our faces so much that we begin to condition our minds to think that that is what beautiful is supposed to look like. I used to be obsessed with the 90’s supermodels. Niki Taylor was my favorite. They had the most devine faces and bodies to match. But never too skinny. A lot of them were voluptuous too. I bet you’ll find that a lot of women who grew up in the 90’s would agree with you also.
